Spent today watching the first day of taekwondo (smallest weight classes). It's a slight variation of what I used to compete in; (perhaps) obviously I wasn't as good as these folks, but I knew (younger, more flexible) people who were. Watching the smallest weight classes of weightlifting now. We do these lifts at my HIIT/crossfit gym, and the weights are just crazy. These are the kinds of events I love at the Olympics. [Also, watched the DBacks sweep the Guardians today in a doubleheader and for the series.]

I watched this yesterday. I'm sorry, but this dood hadn't competed since the last Olympics, and breezed his way to the gold. It's hard to take this sport serious IMO.
