Funeral for a person who committed suicide

Good point. I'm reflecting that it's impossible to have difficult discussions with trolls. I could tell you how much different she looked in the past few years. And I could tell you, as I already have, that it is normal to think about what the demons were (I noticed you've never been to such a funeral, speaking from expertise again I see). And this used to be a place we could discuss such things. But it wouldn't matter to you, you troll that you think I would say something at a funeral. Gutter, the arbiter of niceness and decorum on FFT.

Is that how I've shown myself? Also, I'm glad you're sure.

Again with the funeral. You and Gutter must be projecting your inability to function in social situations. Nothing about "raging biotch" or even close, I see. Color me shocked. Regarding your bolded. - The body image part was explained above to Gutter. In a later post I discussed the danger of telling girls they are beautiful all the time. - Killing yourself on Mother's Day is kinda relevant to the situation and makes it particularly tragic. Not judgy. - I carefully worded "so inconsiderate" to avoid any judgment. When a person kills themselves, they prioritize their death over the impact on the lives around them. This is a fact, sad though it is. In typing my thread, I was doing more than say "someone died, so sad," but rather explore what would lead a mother to kill herself on Mother's Day.

Funeral for a person who committed suicide

I described her body image issues in the context of trying to figure out why she killed herself. When such tragedies happen, people often try to figure out the reason. But hey, thanks for thinking I might say this to people at the funeral.

I'm guessing you were drunk again. Are you OK? We're here to chat if you need help. If not, you once again used your lawyerly skills to sloppily skim a thread, read some words from some people, jumble them in your head, and draw a wrong conclusion. Otherwise, feel free to point out where I said something to imply that she was a "raging biotch." It's less than a page long, Worms, even you can do it.

I said I didn't know her that well, but we always go to the funeral. and I absolutely did not call her any disparaging names. I said you must be in a bad mental place to do that, especially on Mothers Day. Read my posts again.

What did I say that was not charitable to her?

Trump talk only- no Eagles talk allowed (Steelers talk is OK though)

I think polls are more useful for trends than for absolute values. In other words, if the polls say that support for Candidate X has increased, I trust that more that a poll saying Candidate X has Y% of the votes.

Funny, the guy iin Oregon telling people in border states that the border is just red meat for superdupermagatards. Also, a fake lawyer. Are illegal aliens threatening fake lawyer jobs?

If a parishioner of your cult committed suicide, would you attend? Would the cult even give them a memorial service?
  11. Yeah, I was think some sort of cardiac type of issue that he didn't recognize the symptoms. Seems a stretch to leap to a conclusion of suicide.

No, they were obnoxious. They showed a montage of her pictures from birth until... maybe 3-5 years ago, based on the age of her son in the pics. No recent ones, from when she had all of the face work done. There was maybe one picture showing the new bewbs, but generally not. What struck my wife and I was how many times different people mentioned her being "beautiful." I know I'm playing psychologist on a low-rent FF message bored, but we both think she was chasing eternal youth with her recent surgeries, and Father Time always wins in the end. I don't know if that is what led her to this tragic end, but perhaps she had too much of her image wrapped up in youthful beauty. My advice is to tell the women/girls in your life that they are beautiful on the INSIDE.

Weepaws is on a Revelation kick lately. Is the world ending next week? If so, I'll drink up my good bourbon. Hate to see it go to waste.

Who would you rather do anal with?

Also, the black girl is way cuter than Caitlin.

You might want to check his social media feeds. Just sayin...
  16. Let's put the big oaf on Doncic on the perimeter when Dallas needs a three. Brilliant!
  17. I'm scratching my head at what "other" is. Mixed? I know people who are half black/half hispanic; it's quite common in the southwest. If they were half minority/half white, I would expect them to declare as the minority.
  18. Probably not, but I'm not quite ready to call it a change that would have minimal effect. I would have to work through the numbers, which I'm disinclined to do going into a holiday weekend.
  19. In the chart in the article in the OP, blacks went from 22 to 25 (it seems on the graph, just shorter than the 26 next to it from the prior year) for the period 2019-22. That's a 13% increase. Not terribly large, but still an increase. The biggest increase was Hispanic, followed by Other. Asians were by far the biggest decrease, followed by whites.

What podcasts do you like, if any

https://freakonomics.com/podcasts/ -- 3 of them: Freakonomics Radio -- Freakonomics co-author Stephen J. Dubner uncovers the hidden side of everything. Why is it safer to fly in an airplane than drive a car? How do we decide whom to marry? Why is the media so full of bad news? Also: things you never knew you wanted to know about wolves, bananas, pollution, search engines, and the quirks of human behavior. No Stupid Questions -- Research psychologist Angela Duckworth (author of Grit) and tech and sports executive Mike Maughan really like to ask people questions, and they believe there’s no such thing as a stupid one. So they have a podcast where they can ask each other as many “stupid questions” as they want. The Economics of Everyday Things -- Who decides which snacks are in your office’s vending machine? How much is a suburban elm tree worth, and to whom? How did Girl Scout Cookies become a billion-dollar business? In bite-sized episodes, journalist Zachary Crockett looks at quotidian things and finds amazing stories. https://hiddenbrain.org/ -- Hidden Brain explores the unconscious patterns that drive human behavior and questions that lie at the heart of our complex and changing world. Those are the main ones (non-political) I listen to most of their episodes. I also have Tim Ferriss, The Genius Life, and Peter Attia in my pod feed, but it depends on the subject. Also Honestly by Bari Weiss, but that is political more often than not.

    Agreed.
  22. I agree with you that the problem is in primary schools, not med school applications. At that point the ship has sailed. The rest of this post is a great example of why we'll never fix the problem. I haven't seen a single person here say "blacks can't be doctors." That is you viewing this topic as "it's blatantly racist." So we can never discuss the problem. I presume that you and Lucero would get along swimmingly; she seems to have the same sad racism goggles.
  23. To clarify: do you think the purpose of the Free Beacon article is total racism? Or CDub's posting it? Or both?
