I would vote no on him. I don't think he could keep the politics/personal stuff out of this thread. Plus I think he's borderline special needs. But maybe that means more money for the rest of us? And you are in an engineering/tech firm. Which brings up a big problem with such goals -- the underlying feeder group doesn't support them. There is nothing close to 45% women or POC in engineering, let alone engineering management, to support those goals. So you end up with a diverse C Suite of supporting staff -- HR, legal, finance -- to make the numbers work. Earlier Gutter made a comment about already having 4 white male SCOTUS justices.
