Trump talk only- no Eagles talk allowed (Steelers talk is OK though)
jerryskids replied to The Real timschochet's topic in The Geek Club
I live in an actual contentious state (AZ) so I don't have the luxury, like you in OR, to throw my vote away on a 3rd party candidate who has roughly 0.0% chance of winning. OR would elect Biden if he died tomorrow. Well, I could, but that would be irresponsible, and only give me the ability, no matter which of the 2wins, to go on low-rent FF message boreds and crow "well I didn't vote for him!" -
Yes. So why the second paragraph?
-
You win, squissy. They were laughing only because Trump said "totally dependent," not because Trump thought they were too dependent. They knew they had those coal furnaces in their back pocket. Also, they didn't get the chance to become even more dependent because Putin shut them off, which caused them to panic-open the coal plants. Regarding Nato, as per my chart, all but a few either hit the goal or significantly increased their payments. You may not be aware, but most countries couldn't just rip up their budget and instantly hit the 2%. Most countries steadily increased over time with an end goal of 2%.

I know a little about AI, thanks. Also: Paragraph 1: He'll sound way different. Paragraph 2. He'll sound like he always does. Occam's Razor.
-
Graph 3 of the following link shows that, for 2020, 11 countries hit the 2% target, with 2 others just behind. It also compares to 2015 spending, and clearly it went up significantly for every country in that timeframe. https://www.nato.int/nato_static_fl2014/assets/pdf/2021/3/pdf/210316-pr-2020-30-en.pdf I would postulate that Covid caused many countries to back off spending, leading to your 2022 reduction. And of course, Russia's invasion slapped a lot of countries in the head, so I wouldn't attribute that to Biden. For Germany, now we're playing the "Trump said ALL"? Are you squistion? They were caught with their pants around the ankles and turned on coal plants as an emergency. Do you honestly think those smug Germans sitting there laughing were thinking "ah Herr Trump, he does not know about der awesome coal plants we can fire up!" ? They laughed, they were wrong.
-
Deep fakes could be made of any public speech Biden makes. What is different about this one? The answer is: should be nothing, and given that the transcript of the entire interview has been made public, you are wrong about Occam's Razor.
-
Do you even read your own links? The first one says nothing of 2022 targets. Further, it says: Started with Trump, continued with Biden. The second one is even worse; I should have posted it to prove my point. It is from 2023 and says Germany is NO LONGER dependent on Russian oil and gas. Then goes on to describe how they, among other things, re-opened coal plants to make up the difference. So now they are destroying the environment; climate change shlimate change, we need power now$#@! Cmon man...

It's 5, not 50 patents. Why are you allergic to accurate data? Does that help you with your job? And I only said it because you said something about hoping I didn't design anything. Ends up I did. Speaking of allergic to accuracy, yet another quote without a link, so we can't read the context or source. Regardless, that is nothing like how stupid Germany looks for laughing at Trump's statement. Otherwise, good post, good effort.

So, I destroyed you on the "world leaders laughing" statement, duly noted. It's a false question to say "what would Trump have done." Trump did whatever he did for 4 years, and Putin didn't invade. Russia, China, and Iran/Hamas have all acted as I said. These are facts, not useless speculation. The bolded is idiotic, beyond the possibility of intelligent discussion.
-
Trump established relationships with world leaders, who reciprocated out of respect. Biden talks about taking corn pop behind the shed. Meanwhile, Russia has been in Ukraine since just after Biden took over, China is massing it's navy in the China Sea, and Iran-backed Hamas brutally attacked Israel, with the help of our tax dollars. Facts not feelz; actions speak louder than words. Oh, and I do remember world leaders laughing and mocking at Trump. I remember them doing it when he said to NATO pay up or shut up... and many/most paid. I also remember Germans laughing at Trump when he said they were too dependent on Russian oil, in 2018. How did that age for Germany?
-
I'm not saying Trump is showing no signs of aging, I'm saying it's nowhere "same way Biden has." Biden can barely function. It is an attempt by you folks on the Left to nullify Bidens significant demise. "Well, it's the same for both." No. It isn't. It comes down to what you want: a president who calls Xi "Winnie the Pooh" to his face, or a president who stands in front of Xi glassy-eyed with drool running down his chin. I fear the latter more, because the Xis and the Putins and the Ayatollahs of the world smell weakness IMO.

Interesting, thanks. Did you just have all of those links on speed dial? Also, that first one, despite the lecturer's claims, seems quite partisan. No evidence of dementia with Joe, really? That's inane. Joe can't remember which way he walked on the stage a few minutes ago. Maybe get out of the classroom and meet some people. The disinhibition can be a sign as you pointed out, but having it doesn't prove dementia. He has used uncomplimentary nicknames for people since before the 2016 election. Maybe he's just an ass? I don't ever remember him being a model of decorum. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_nicknames_used_by_Donald_Trump_about_other_people

You think that's cognitive decline? He's riffing a joke. You can argue it's not funny, or presidential, but doing stuff like that, like his Tic Tac shrinkflation riff, is a sign of strong cognitive function. When Biden goes off script it results in a few seconds of silence followed with "anyway..."
-
Did your dad beat the tar out of you? I'd have gotten my ass whupped but good.
-
The bolded is like poetry, bravo!
-
You're right, they are exactly the same. One of us is seeing what they want to see. Try not to sneeze from Biden's pubes tickling your nostrils. I'm done with this, troll. Have a good night.
-
Watched this and the others you just posted; nothing remotely close to Biden. Do you have zero ability to see this? I'm guessing you are just trolling at this point

I never said sharp as ever. I said nowhere near Biden. One of us is not a serious person. -

The choice in this election is Trump with all of his baggage (and to some like you, being Satan who wants to destroy democracy) vs. Biden who is brain dead. To try to equate Trump's occasional gaffes with Biden's 24/7 loss of mental capacity is just silly, be better. Just listen to them/watch them speak, FFS. Also I don't love Trump; I have a ton of posts here saying as much, supporting other candidates, etc. But I prefer him over Biden who the bad guys in the world (Xi, Putin) have zero respect for, and who isn't actually running the country, and I don't know it is. Also, I don't think a highly partisan state should make up novel, obscure interpretations of laws to convict opposition candidates for president. -
Trump's NY Election Interference Trial - Trump is found guilty on all 34 counts

He means prosecuting democrats, not coming after Merchan (and squistion's drivel). -
I know, I misinterpreted LA as Los Angeles (CA) as well.

So after all of this, you hadn't even read that? And you want me to think you are engaging in intelligent discussion? Sad, and duly noted. Yes, it concluded that, along with this immediately after: So some amount of context and civilian behavior accounts for that. And there was no difference in lethal force. So the "cops are shooting blacks" tripe is just that. HTH And from that, how do you conclude that police are a net negative?
-
You've got a big-ass "weak, mediocre, fear" hammer and you are flailing around looking for nails. I understand the word Marxism fine, but enough of your strawman. Support your inane assertions with... anything. I've presented the fact that all communities, including predominantly black communities, have police forces. Therefore, police are a net positive. I'm almost done, you are insufferably obtuse.
-
Again with the mediocrity! And yes, I really did. Respond to that study or I'm done with you, Marxist child.
-
I provided data in the Fani thread showing you are significantly wrong about the level of racism. It's not the same as this ridiculous, baseless claim that police in the US are a net negative, but feel free to respond with something tangible. Or not. You are all about Marxist feelz.
