Who here still supports Jan 6 attack?
jerryskids replied to The Psychic Observer's topic in The Geek Club
Has it been proven that the isolated incident(s) are as you suggest? I recall discussing here how such items were not discussed by the 1/6 Committee, which made that committee not a search for truth, but rather a prosecution. Sure, people did bad things, and they should face consequences. Only a handful went there with anything resembling a plan, and it wasn't a very good one. The majority of people got caught up in the mob mentality that often happens in mob situations. They should still face consequences, but this insurrection stuff for those people is laughable. An honest person can admit this. -
Who here still supports Jan 6 attack?

There is video of security at one of the entrances pulling aside the bicycle stand from an otherwise docile crowd and letting them in. This has been discussed here back when it happened, and the video posted, but I don't know how to easily find it now. I believe that @Fnordfrom Team Blue can corroborate this. -
@weepawsdoesn't respond to questions for which he has no answers. I've asked him a bunch of times what his solution is to his repeated comments about the red team and blue team both sucking, he has nothing so he ignores it.

Your cut and paste about the Hur report on the is exactly what I said, thanks for corroborating. I didn't say the NY joke case is about tax fraud, read better. Regarding Hillary, you are technically correct. Technically she smashed cell phones which had evidence of what was on the servers, which she lobotomized before turning in. https://www.newsweek.com/fact-check-hillary-clinton-hammer-private-email-server-evidence-fbi-1806046 Not intentional misconduct.

This has nothing to do with my post. Otherwise good job, good effort.

The problem is, as Scott Adams has said: you and I are watching different movies of events. Let me show you my movie. In my movie, The Stormy Daniels thing was a laughable joke. Something the feds long ago conclude was a dog with absolutely no bite, but some idiot in NY ran on getting the evil orange man. Sticking with your home state, this real estate valuation thing is a farce. In AZ, the tax value of my property is ridiculously low. I'm not complaining, but if somebody said that I did something wrong by valuing my property at market value instead of tax appraisal, I'd laugh in their face. In my movie, I'm reminding you that this is happening to the Republican candidate for POTUS. And I would be embarrassed if I lived in NY. I've always thought 1/6 was a joke, but the Left is so invested on somehow interpreting Trump's words as a call to invade the Capitol that I'm not sure it's worth discussing. I'll merely say in my movie, his words clearly did no such thing. Did he sit there enjoying that people were doing it for him? Yeah, he's a petulant pr1ck. But that's not illegal, and not insurrection... wait, he wasn't charged with insurrection, he was charged with four obscure items from the US Code. In my movie, this isn't done to the Republican candidate for POTUS. The Georgia thing, I've always thought was the most questionable of Trump's actions. I'm fundamentally fine with that being adjudicated, but it would have been nice to not wait until the election year to actually get around to doing it, at least in my movie. I'll end with the confidential docs, as I think this shows the most obvious difference in how things are handled. In my movie, I create a venn diagram of Trump and Biden's behavior, and I see how we can excuse Biden. The union of the two circles is: they both had confidential docs in unsecured places. Since this includes Biden, it is considered excusable. On the Biden-only side, he had docs he should never have had as VP. That seems kinda bad, no? Apparently not, or he's too old to be convicted. On the Trump-only side, he didn't return the docs fast enough. That's it! That's the bad thing! Not having docs he shouldn't have, but not returning them in time! Hillary literally destroyed her illegal server, which surely had confidential information, and it was deemed "no biggie." Trump, on the other hand, is charged for not returning the docs in a timely fashion. This is the movie I am watching. I'm confident that in your movie, all of the stuff I've listed is truly egregiously bad, worthy of indictment of the POTUS candidate of one of the two major political parties in our country. I look forward to your response.

You think a conservative objected to the American flag in a truck?

Hells yeah. She has a fit body, a great rack, and a lot of passion. I'm not looking to marry her, or even talk to her in the morning.

Who should be president, weepaws? I feel like I've asked this question before.

Also retired. Today is golf day for me. I'll get an aerobic leg workout walking in the desert looking for my ball, and a core workout from swinging a weighted club more often than I'd like.

Death penalty is one thing I've become more liberal on in my old age. I used to be in favor of it (if it were more expedient); now I oppose it. One, I don't think the government should be in the business of killing it's people. Two, I find it more consistent with my overall "sanctity of life" stance with abortion. Yeah I know, this monster is different than an innocent unborn child.

I don't have time to type a real response; heading to a spring training game soon. If you don't hear from me by the end of the week feel free to ping me.

I'm not a Leftist, but let me defend every Leftist position? Also, if you are going to zing me Gutter, at least have the proper number of "nots".

As I've said numerous times, I'm not in the Trump cult. I just don't like the Machine ginning up a bunch of stuff to influence our election process. I've also said numerous times that every time you reference the 91 indictments$#@! I chuckle, because it means the opposite of what you think. That same Machine told you "Trump is bad, he's he's selfish, and lies, and he talks to Putin, and he hit on women when he was young, and he valued his property higher than the tax value, and... wait, we'll show you, we'll throw a bunch of lawsuits at him!" And you look at all those indictments as proof of how bad he is. You are such a simp on this topic. Meanwhile Joe Biden didn't want his kids growing up in a racial jungle; meh, that was in the past. Stole confidential docs as a VP? Meh, he's a nice old guy, let's let him slide on this one. There might be more but I'll stop there.

I'm glad to see that this is how we treat candidates we don't like. And by "we" I mean the party that claims to want to save democracy. The Left must be so proud; it certainly seems so by the posts in this thread.

What's your solution, weepaws? You still haven't answered. Maybe you can make fun of my Catholicism again and avoid it, that's be very Christian of you. -
Marriage promotes 'White supremacy,' according to White university professor
jerryskids replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
To summarize: It's bad to think a two-parent family is good. And... The two-parent family leads to family inequality. Ergo, I conclude that we should strive for equity by eliminating the structure, so that all families can suck equally. Equity FTW! Somebody pays this wymon for this tripe. -
Geez, rooting for Rory is not for the faint of heart.

Advil is laughing their way to the bank. It created a whole new woke category, and a bunch of upper middle class white women are going to be Advil users for life.

What Was The Last Thing Delivered To Your Home ?
jerryskids replied to BeenHereBefore's topic in The Geek Club
Also, like others, we get so much shiot delivered, it's hard to say the last thing. Last thing of relevance was a new queen metal platform bed frame, for my MIL who arrives today (and I put together this morning). We had a nice Ethan Allen wood bed in the spare room, but it is oddly high, like 30 inches (standard is around 25). MIL is 86 and it is tough for her to get into it; she said something about getting a stool. It was too large for that room anyway (four poster) so fock it, we'll just donate the wood one. -

I've been playing TP5s some, because I get basically a dozen free when my Golf Pass renews. Which reminds me that I think I can get another dozen. Anyway, I like them. Super sticky on my chips, which is probably good in the long term but I'm used to accounting for more release so I was consistently short on my chips yesterday. -
