    ***EdEx 2024 Arnold Palmer Invitational***

    Good idea, Cletus. :twack:
  2. Jeebus, how addictive are some of these things that people know they are playing Russian roulette buying drugs on the street, but they still do it. https://www.theepochtimes.com/health/much-stronger-than-fentanyl-nitazene-presents-a-looming-crisis-5593646?utm_source=Morningbrief&src_src=Morningbrief&utm_campaign=mb-2024-03-03&src_cmp=mb-2024-03-03&utm_medium=email&est=AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa%2Bc5ZwpCztPd4LIuuWhYArg0yEwD%2BTwvt3acngPVaRuLrk%2FaLA%3D%3D I know it's easy to say it's some sort of Darwinian thinning of the herd, but China seems to be killing a lot of our people with this stuff.
  3. Well, I started this thread to talk about an extremely dangerous drug hitting our streets, but Weetard turned it into a thread about why his hippie surfer cult is the bestest Christian cult. He completely lacks any communication skills so he'll probably respond with something about ashes. Anyway, let's see where this goes and if it's interesting.
  4. You can't stomach a mistake?
  5. You remind me of a Southern Baptist I knew, who once mentioned that her church had recognized Catholicism as a Christian religion. How nice of her! Except she was a nice older woman, and you seem like a pr!ck. Does Calvary teach you to be pricks to other Christians? Or do you have such low self-confidence that you need to do the "my hippie cult is the best!"

Love the ones mentioned. While not quite 50 (49), I'm watching Money Heist and just saw this woman in a sex scene, me likey. Itziar Ituno https://www.google.com/search?sca_esv=45f1dac3df745a23&sxsrf=ACQVn08xNL9KIWTkaelHu4kwHBF8dKEN1w:1709503515524&q=Itziar+Ituño&stick=H4sIAAAAAAAAAONgFuLVT9c3NEypzC23LK_IUYJwk8yNzSqqzA20xLKTrfRLyoAovqAoP70oMdcqObG4ZBErr2dJVWZikYJnSenhjfkAZKhurEgAAAA&tbm=isch&source=lnms&sa=X&ved=2ahUKEwjUzKPujNmEAxVBHUQIHdEhBDUQ0pQJegQIDRAB&biw=1368&bih=743&dpr=2
  8. Nonresponsive. Is "gee" taking the Lord's name in vain? Also, is this how Calvary Chapel teaches you to treat fellow Christians? Attain salvation? I follow the faith established by Jesus through St Peter, you follow a cult started by some guy in his garage. That being said, I readily admit that my faith sucks. I've spent much of my adult life not believing, and only recently have re-engaged as part of my spiritual journey. It is one of the curses, or benefits (depending on your perspective), of having an overly scientific mind. Anyway, enough of this sidetrack. Go back to wishing Hell on people who don't follow your particular cult.
  9. When I read my google it had a more general definition: I agree with the targeting difference by law enforcement. For us armchair internet posters, it seems like a distinction without a difference.
  10. Oh good, weepaws, where intelligent discussion goes to die. So tell me, what is your position on "geez"? "Sheesh"? "Gee"? They all derive from the same place as "Jeebus." Or better yet, don't tell me. Go read another Bible passage and hope that fools God into thinking you deserve salvation.

Do you have or want a “Trad” Wife?

She didn't say anything about kids. IIRC you are older and perhaps not looking for somebody to raise kids with; if so... I'd be a lot more concerned about a woman with this attitude who doesn't want kids. To me it just reeks of someone looking for a sugar daddy. I mean, if you are printing Geek Club money like the rest of us, maybe that is your thing. But not my thing.

Do you have or want a “Trad” Wife?

Our story is similar. When we met we had the same position at the same company making virtually the same salary. We both liked the idea of her staying home with the kids when they were young, and we were fortunate that my career enabled this. Later in I lost my job and she was able to get a job to keep us going. She kept working when I went back to work (kids were old enough). Now I've retired because of cancer and she is our primary breadwinner. She took a LOT of flak from her professional peers for choosing to stay at home. They had an attitude which seems similar to what @cyclone24is describing -- that she was "letting down" the woman's movement by "wasting" her training. But she felt, and I agree, that part of the value of such training is to get to a point in life where you have the flexibility to do what you think is best. Anyway, we started on equal footing and, while our roles within the family have changed over the years, we have always treated each other as equals. Regarding the woman in the video (awesome rack!), or people who aspire to this life in general: I would be concerned if she were unintelligent, as I like talking to my wife about a variety of topics. I also would not like the pressure of me being in charge of all of the important decisions -- it is good to have a sounding board, for us anyway. But in the end, to each their own. As long as both of the spouses agree on the roles, it can work well. If they disagree, well, that's where trouble brews.
  13. That last item isn't a statistic, of course. But it is good to know we can use statistics for racial profiling.

    Wet T-Shirt Sunday

God sure does create some beautiful things.
  15. Words change, Tim. Heck, I learned yesterday that "from the river to the sea" doesn't mean from the river to the sea. "Redneck" is now, if not always, a pejorative with your buddies on the Left who hold disdain for people who perform hard manual labor. HTH Also, what do we know that give odds that he's white?

    Women’s History Month

I told my wife about this thread yesterday, and how there was one guy (you) posting a historical woman every day, much as you had in February with black historical figures. I then said the first one you listed was... Princess Di. She was all, WTF?! Of all the women in history who have actually accomplished great things, SHE gets listed first?! I told her Indira Ghandi was #2, which brought her back from the ledge.

    Timmy’s thread for general discussion

People with true severe gender dysphoria are probably helping themselves. Others, aren't. To think that you are a different sex than you are is, for lack of a better phrase, a psychological abnormality. Not to mention, there are a significant number of psychological comorbidities associated with trans, not all of which can be attributed to mean people like me: https://scholars.direct/Articles/psychiatry/jptr-3-007.php?jid=psychiatry

    War in Israel

Describe "indiscriminantly." Is Israel just blowing up civilian areas? You know Hamas hides in tunnels under civilian buildings, particularly schools and hospitals, right? They take all of the food and water for themselves and let the people go without, right? They won't They don't want a two-state solution, they want the destruction of Israel, right? The people of Gaza elected Hamas and overwhelmingly support them (and with it, the destruction of Israel), right? What would you have Israel do?

    War in Israel

Hostages are probably dead. Is Hamas going to return their bodies? Please show me I'm wrong about the Left, and give me one (positive) expectation you have of Hamas. The dead are reported by Hamas, they say whatever number they think they can reasonably say to maximize sympathy from the western Left. Do you think they are inventorying all of the carcasses?

    Timmy’s thread for general discussion

No, I mean better. Your link makes it seem like "no harm, no foul" for the most part. Although they do mention infertility. The damage is irreversible, and the impact depends on the length of time taking them. I'm not even addressing that last sentence; it is pablum and I've addressed it already in this thread and many others. You just refuse to process the words.

    Timmy’s thread for general discussion

"Reversible" is incorrect. The drugs work for the time they are used. If puberty blockers are used for 2 years, you cannot get that time back. You can stop taking them and whatever is left of your pubescence process will continue, but whatever you've lost in development for those two years is lost forever. So if you are a man, you might have a tiny/micropenis, tiny testicles which generate no sperm or testosterone, etc. The trans community intentionally obfuscates this to make it sound better than it is.

    War in Israel

What is the Ministry of Health? I heard recently that all of the death estimates come from, basically, Hamas. Baghdad Bob. Also, 16 year old young men fighting for Hamas count as children. Also also, there are millions of Palestinians, 30K is not a genocide. Otherwise, good post, good effort. BTW, how is that hostage release coming? The Left treats Hamas like they do any group they consider disenfranchised: animals gonna animal. For once I'd like to see a Leftie have the slightest expectation for Hamas' behavior in all of this. But I don't have much hope for that.
