I'm well aware that people with college degrees make more money. But those aren't the ones who need loan relief. I doubt that many engineering/STEM grads need their loans paid off. Because those are useful skills. Finance degree, maybe, because that just involves making a debit and credit column add up the same. Cog work.

I wrote the post because I made an assertion in another thread that I thought cultural issues were an existential threat, and I was asked (challenged) to provide examples. I have more examples coming in the future. Feel free to sit them out; adults who understand nuance and can discuss complex issues are welcome though. If you want to address my assertion about moral relativism, feel free to do so, and I will discuss with you as I have with other left-leaning people in this thread. I presume he will testify in the trial. - The judge doesn't care; he knows it won't hold up in appeal because of the first point, but it is all about interfering with the election. Which is sad in a case where the prosecution is flimsily accusing Trump of election interference.

My barber is $23, I usually add a 5 tip (pay all in cash if I have it). Russian immigrant I'll call Boris, because that's his name. It's his business, and I like to support local businesses if I can. I've paid more in the past, but I don't do anything too fancy and he knows exactly what I want. He used to live in NY so we chat about my daughter living there. Mostly though we don't chat -- chit chat is tough for me with the laryngectomy, and he is perfectly happy to quietly cut my hair. There is another barber there who talks non-stop, worse than a cackling hen. I'd grab a razor and cut my own throat if I had to sit in his chair.
