3 Kansas City Chiefs fans found frozen outside home of friend who had 'no knowledge' of deaths

What are the odds? -
This is the new "covfefe". Trump has one speech where he mixes up Haley and Pelosi, and for the next few months, when people post daily examples of Boden barely functioning, they'll pull this video out in response. They are the same! They are both in decline! Another false equivalency from the Left.

NFL So your team is out. Who you rooting for ?

Basically this. Also, my MIL is a diehard fan. She just got her Michigan national championship, this would be a cherry on top. -

MALE STUDENT REPORTEDLY DOMINATING GIRLS SPORTS AT SAN FRANCISCO HIGH SCHOOL
jerryskids replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
Ah, phase 2: it happens but it's rare. So if it's so rare, let's just make it illegal and be done with it? Also, I don't think school district level is the right place to make such decisions. School board members are not experts in the various sports. You'd end up with ideologues voting with their heart one way or another. Instead, I'd rather let the most local governing bodies for the different sports make the calls. They are much more versed on the impact of a male competing in their sport. -

I needed that last FG to hit the over and win my parlay. Darn near had a coronary when they passed on the FG the first time. Luckily they kicked it in the end. -

Ravens pulling away. Defense is impressive. But I need 10 more points to hit the over in my parlay. -
American Airlines flight attendant arrested for recording minor female in bathroom

Trap? I'm not actively involved in the Houston discussion. You can argue, like squistion would, that you didn't technically say political parties, but the intent was clear, and either way it was still an attempt to start a slap fight. -

Fair enough, I should have asked how you know he is a heterosexual. That is a very conservative position to take. -

Don't hurt yourself backtracking so fast. Oh, and this is a very conservative series of posts you have in this thread. -

First, explain how you know he's a conservative. Then, the irony makes sense. -
Gun to head, I'll pick bacon. But I love me a Denny's Moon over My Hammy, and I also love me some biscuits and gravy with sausage mixed in and an egg or two on top. Also funny that this topic was posted, because we just came back from brunch with friends, and I had this heart attack on a plate: https://brunchsnobrestaurant.com/menu It always has a big slab of chicken; it's about 5 inches high as well.

I'm just glad that the board right-leaning moderates can take a disgusting act of pedophilia and turn it into a political slap fight. -

Well by all means, feel free to chastise me for not being the morality police in the proper thread. -
I mentioned in passing here that my wife and I saw Marc Cohn this past Tuesday. 30+ years ago we danced to True Companion as our first song. Still love the lyrics. But on a more rocking note, I'm going with my son and his GF to see Tool on 2/10. My son's GF is kinda shy and it's been a little bit of a challenge getting to know her. When Tool announced this extra date, I asked my son if he wanted to go with me. His response was something like, "yeah sure, I like Tool, but GF really likes them." Bought 3 tickets then as Christmas gifts. An added twist is that 2/10 is Saturday, the day before the SB. Or as it is known in Phoenix, the day 100K+ people get blotto at the WM Phoenix Open. So it might be a particularly fun crowd.

How did you conclude he is a conservative? Because he has an iPhone and does a predominantly female job? -
You are a miserable doosh
-
How so? By getting career military generals and admirals across the board to take over the country? Like Trump did last time he lost? The party that thinks conservatives have a bunch of conspiracy theories has the biggest and silliest of them all.

This is how I feel. Anyone who doesn't see the decline, I instantly think either has zero ability to assess people, or willingly ignores it to avoid cognitive dissonance.

Has the weather/climate changed where you live?
jerryskids replied to wiffleball's topic in The Geek Club
Sticking with the religion comparison, the eagerness of the ACC cult to say "the weather is [hot/cold/dry/wet/windy/calm] so therefore, climate change" reminds me of a religious zealot finding a bible quote to justify every action. That being said, the strategy of the cult leaders to change their message to "extreme weather" was brilliant; it channels that part of humans that wants to believe in the occult, things like horoscopes, palm reading, etc. Because it is very easy to believe that the weather has been a little more [insert above word] lately. -

jerryskids replied to wiffleball's topic in The Geek Club
On the one hand I believe in being good stewards of the earth, and we do what we can to conserve in ways that matter (mostly conserve water in the desert). On the other hand, it's pretty clear to me that anthropogenic climate change (ACC) is a religion as much if not more so than science. I've heard it said that people who don't believe in God will find some laic thing to believe in; that humans need to believe in some higher cause. Interestingly, I googled and found data which strongly shows a (negative) correlation between importance of God and belief in ACC. https://www.prri.org/research/the-faith-factor-in-climate-change-how-religion-impacts-american-attitudes-on-climate-and-environmental-policy/ When the ACC church leaders show an interest in actually solving the problem on a significant scale (e.g., through nuclear, and natural gas as a stopgap) vs. punishing mankind, it will move more into the realm of science. -
Does this mean you are now superdupermike80? or maybe supermike90?

That didn't age well; I just texted my daughter (lives in Manhattan) and it is snowing again today. -
What you say is true, and you didn't understand a word I said. Or choose to remain ignorant. Either way, carry on.
