The Arizona ballot proposal would allow abortion up to birth for "mental health" reasons But in your centrist world, there are only Republican extremes.
-
True, it's more serious to say Republicans want a 13 yr old rape victim to have to bear the child.

I'm 5'11 and 170 now, so Welterweight. I bounce between 165 and 170 so I could make Super Lightweight easily. In my prime youth I probably maxed at Middleweight with muscle. I've been 155 but the most recent time was during chemo...

You are engaged? Poor woman... also congrats!

Where in his post did he say to tell voters that they support abortion? He said to make sure it is not a referendum in November, which could be through, say, reasonable restrictions, with which most of the country agrees. If the Republicans become the side of reasonable, vs. the Democrats who want to kill the baby while it's crowning, that could actually help them.

Who here still supports Jan 6 attack?

I hear what you are saying; I'm saying that you care more than they do. My plan makes every possible attempt to give the Palestinian people a choice. And when that time is over... glass. -
What bad faith? He is saying you can't impact abortion if you lose, which is true. And if you win, then you are in a position to start boiling the frog, putting in reasonable restrictions then building off of that through education etc. This has been the progressive playbook for 60+ years.

One indicator might be: when the Palestinian people reject Hamas, and install leadership which is interested in the peaceful co-existence of Israel. Because until they do, I'd say with confidence that you are more interested in ending this than they are. -

What specifically in my post was confusing? -
I think you totally misread this. Jonathan Haidt is on your side. He is arguing, rightfully so, that the huge uptick in teens (particularly girls) identifying as trans, is due to the clear social contagion going on.

Hamas probably killed the hostages; see the Israel thread. Now what? -

To summarize: you believe that Israeli forces should escort aid into an area and wait until they are inevitably shot until your will acquiesce... what exactly? What is your expectation of Hamas in your scenario? -
Fock, wish I knew this.

This seems mostly non-responsive, since you didn't answer my question. Palestinians started in the stone age, thanks to Hamas leadership, or lack thereof. Israel is capable of bombing them into a sheet of glass, but they haven't. What does "show up at hospitals" mean? Send Israelis in to get shot by Hamas? -

There "needs" to be a way to get the aid to the suffering innocents of Gaza, not just into Gaza. Because if it just gets into Gaza, it goes to Hamas. Reference your "scum of the earth" comment. All historical info indicates that Hamas will take every resource for themselves, building tunnels and bombs, and ruining water supplies for the general population. Let me know if you agree or not before I move on. -

This post makes no sense. I said Gaza so your first comment is idiotic. That being said, if you believe that the Palestinian Authority has leadership over Hamas in the West Bank, what have they done to get Hamas to do anything to resemble a resolution? Your second point is valid, as Hamas wants boys to survive to join them in their pursuit of killing all Jews throughout the world. I'm sure some Palestinians care if they die, there is no 100%. But the majority support Hamas, which is indisputable. -

I missed what they should do, please repeat it. And include this: -
Thanks. I'm going to say that I'm not completely against a motion to just repeal a law and leave no law in place, and instead wait and see how it shakes out.

You are behaving like a child. I didn't say it is going "well," that's relative. I've been asking what they should do instead, because war is not nice. And your "fock your icky feels talk" is childish. Man up and say what they should do. -

Sorry but I missed the expectation on Hamas behavior. Sorry that blowing up shet hurts your feelz. I want you to read this slowly. Hamas, the elected and supported leadership of the Palestinian people, doesn't give a flying fock if every woman and baby in Gaza dies of bomb or starvation. So by proxy, neither do the Palestinian people. Provide either a positive expectation of Hamas or a reason that Israel should go against the will of the Palestinian people in their support of Hamas. -
Do you have a link? I don't doubt you, in fact I wouldn't be surprised. I just haven't seen it.

More respected in what area, bulk food delivery or running a country surrounded by countries that want to obliterate you? War sucks, shiotty things happen, people brutally die, sometimes innocents. And that "looks" bad. I'm asking you to abstract from the icky feelz of that and tell us what Israel should do instead, and what you expect Hamas, the elected and supported leadership of the Palestinian people, to do as well. I look forward to your comments in the Israel thread.
