Who here still supports Jan 6 attack?

Also Napoleon, how about bopping into the Israel War thread and enlighten us as to what Israel should do (and the US, for American hostages) in response to the probability that Hamas killed the hostages. While your at it, set some kind of expectation, anything positive, for Hamas' behavior. I presume it would be the first. TIA.

Regarding aid, Israel has provided and enabled plenty. https://www.google.com/search?q=how+much+has+israel+helped+aid+gaza&oq=how+much+has+israel+helped+aid+gaza&gs_lcrp=EgZjaHJvbWUyBggAEEUYOTIHCAEQIRigATIHCAIQIRigATIHCAMQIRigATIHCAQQIRigATIHCAUQIRifBTIHCAYQIRifBTIHCAcQIRifBTIHCAgQIRifBdIBCTExODI0ajBqNKgCALACAQ&sourceid=chrome&ie=UTF-8 What is indisputable is that in the time leading up to the Hamas attack, Hamas took infrastructure and used it to build bombs and tunnels, and took aid for themselves. Yeah, some aides got killed, that's unfortunate in war. Good to know that a celebrity chef is helping to craft our foreign policy though. What would you do to make it go better, Sun Tzu?

Three of mine are after noon EDT. Rahm is at 10:30 EDT but is bunched with most of the top golfers in that timespan. I presume that isn't a coincidence?

Why would that be better? The late/early folks would play 36 in one day, no?

Yes, we have helped to arm Israel, and they have shown great restraint in using such arms. If they feel existentially threatened at some point, you will unfortunately see just how much restraint they have been showing. Babies are starving because Hamas is denying them food. This doesn't fit your narrative, however. Bad colonialist oppressor words. They level nothing "blindly." They do their best to identify where the baby-burning terrorists are hiding behind their women and children. "Droning aid workers for months?" Do you really believe this. It's like you got it from your teenage daughter's Tumblr account.

How do you feel about immigration?

So much wrong in this post... and the moment you blame climate change, you establish yourself as an unserious poster. Did you ever listen to that Freakonomics pod series? The third part is about Canada, quite interesting. Canada is something of a harbinger of what's to come from us -- I admit that I never quite internalized the labor shortage you often mention, but the issue is that they (and we) have committed to their people a humongous amount of free stuff in the way of entitlements, health care, etc., and they need people to pay that bill. I'd rather, I dunno, re-introduce the importance of family to our culture as a solution, but that's just me. Anyway, back to Canada -- they let in a lot more immigrants than we do (legally), but the difference is that their system has much more of an education/economy focus, vs. ours which is primarily family-focused based on loopholes in the 1965 immigration act. So in Canada, if you can show you contribute to the economy, or practice medicine, come on in$#@! But claim you have family there but nothing to contribute... good luck with that.

AZ Brings Back 160 Year Old Abortion Ban

I have often said that I would put our legislature, particularly many of the republicans, up against any other in the nation for bat-shiot crazy competition.

We were in Barcelona about 15 years ago and discovered tapas there; I agree that they are great. In fact the wife and I use "tapas" as a general term for a dinner with a few appetizers instead of one entree, which is often what we do and share at a restaurant. Also I think that ham is so expensive because of all of the torture they need to do to the pigs.

    War in Israel

Hamas tells negotiators it doesn’t have 40 Israeli hostages needed for first round of ceasefire https://www.yahoo.com/news/hamas-tells-negotiators-doesn-t-122909377.html?.tsrc=daily_mail&uh_test=0_00 Color me shocked that they prolly have killed the hostages.

I don't know all of the tradition, but it seems like he is providing authentic food from his homeland, including his mom's lentil stew which is super cute. It's not like he's from China and serving raw pangolin from the Wuhan wet market. These guys can eat whatever they want at any dinner. This is more of an experience feel IMO.

Oh, I agree. Also, @patweisers44's team, top to bottom, is amazing in those rankings. So he is probably doomed the worst.

AZ Brings Back 160 Year Old Abortion Ban

The BFD to you is that this will rally a lot of voters in AZ who otherwise wouldn't have bothered to go vote for Joe Biden, because he is as exciting as a pile of dirt. But while they are voting for abortion, they'll toss Biden a vote. And walla, we are officially blue in AZ. The additional BFD to me is that this will put into our constitution the right to kill your unborn baby until viability, currently 23-24 weeks. ( I'm not sure how they are going to manage that). It seemed on a trajectory to lose, but now, notsomuch. AZ Reps (who control our legislature) need to get their heads out of their asses and pass a law allowing abortion up to a reasonable time, say, 15 weeks like the last one that got overturned. Diffuse this situation, get a better outcome, both for abortion and for POTUS election. I doubt they will tho.

Somewhere between your 0.001% belief and 100%. The point is that your use of a bunch of 9s was to imply that it has no influence. My point is that you are wrong. HTH

Who here still supports Jan 6 attack?

The Death to America crowd in Dearborn is setting Biden's policies toward Israel. I'd say that's more influence than Gutter would have us believe with his 99.999% nonsense.
