I'll give a different perspective; an evolutionary viewpoint I heard on a pod a while back (forget which one). Men are programmed to have sex with multiple women, to propagate their genes. They are also, however, less interested in women who sleep with multiple men, because then they don't know if the baby is theirs. Women, conversely, are programmed to NOT sleep around, for the above reason, but also because each sexual encounter brings with it the risk of pregnancy, which for her means 9 months of gestation then years of child raising. That is why women are programmed to be much more selective in their mates. Now, as you pointed out, we as a culture have decided we don't like this programming, so we make comments like "that is so early 2000's $#@!" and try to convince women that it is in their interest to sleep around. I believe that women are in general not happy "swiping right" often, and that history will show that this was a bad idea.

Ah, gotcha. That's not how I read it. My sense is that he would be good with more kids, based on past posts (his wife stopped at 3, he wanted more). Also that he believes that women in that age range will be open to a guy who is open to or wants kids, regardless of age. And that that would be easier than convincing a 35 yr old divorcee done with kids that she should marry his fat ass.

Is it racist to say black people abuse drugs more than other races?

Isn't this what the MA hospitals are doing? -
I don't understand this post. Nobody wants to need a caretaker. What they want is for somebody to love who will be their caretaker, if it is needed.

Dang, this saddens me. My initial reaction was to dismiss this, but you are about a decade closer to the younger generation than I am so... anyway, I will just say that my son used to be somewhat like 90s in his "never get married" beliefs, but he seems to have met the woman of his dreams, and I would be shocked at this point if they don't get married. He is staunchly conservative BTW. I'd like to think he is not alone in this attitude. It probably helped that he saw me going through a life-threatening illness and realized that he will not live forever, and that having someone to share life's challenges with is a good thing. Most young people don't understand their own mortality. This is not a new thing.

Thanks, I'll copy and paste my OP into that thread and delete this one. -

Sorry, didn't see it. Where is the thread? Nothing in the titles is leaping out at me on the first page. -
He's not personally pro-gay, he just reads the words that his speech writers give him that say pro-gay things.

What kind of pots/pans/skillets do you use for cooking?

Oh, no doubt. Whenever I start to kick myself about a stoopid decision I made (which is often), I think that in the giant karma of life, picking her as my wife outshines anything negative I'll ever do. -
100 Percent Cancer Remission of Patients in Monoclonal Antibody Trial

Small study but, eesh, 12 out of 12 complete clinical response. Also, this was limited to "A subset of rectal cancer is caused by a deficiency in mismatch repair.", whatever that means. Still, very promising. -

Very interesting, thanks. I don't know details about pancreatic cancer (other than it is nasty), but I'm intrigued by Fenbendazole's "inhibition of glucose uptake". My cancer was a squamous cell carcinoma, which feeds on glucose. In fact during chemo (and initial immuno), I did as low-carb of a diet as I've ever done. I'll always believe that this helped with my status. -

This is what my wife uses, the 3-ply (I think they've maybe stopped making the 5-ply, not sure). She loves them. She does have a cast iron skillet for searing. She doesn't use soap to clean it; she rubs some salt and oil in it I think. I don't pay that much attention, I just know I'm not allowed to clean it. We also have a non-stick pan for things like fried eggs. She read somewhere that they are pretty much all the same and they need to be replaced after the non-stick starts to wear off, so we've got some cheap one from Bed Bath and Beyond. Also, one medium sized Le Creuset... whatever they are, dutch oven? She uses it for bread sometimes, not sure what else. -
My favorite is rhythmic gymnastics, or whatever it is called. They are a little bit older (i.e., of legal age) and they have low self esteem because they couldn't cut it in mainstream gymnastics.

We use plastic bags from the grocery store to scoop our cat litter into. If they stopped providing them, I'd have to find a place online to buy them in bulk.

He didn't get pushed into betting, read my post again. Reading is fundamental. The "cornered into losing" part is why this is being discussed. Otherwise, good post, good effort. -

What you have incorrect is the following: - The bet is not that Biden will be the nom after the convention, but that he will be the nom come election day. That's a solid several months for the Dems to realize they are putting up a brain dead candidate, or for him to brain die. - Tim pushed for the bet to be settled, and got cornered into losing. Otherwise, good post, good effort. -
If I may be so bold to provide some observations and advice... My observation is that you seem like a pretty upstanding guy, and I don't see evidence of the accusations from the FBG folks against you. You seem like a liberal in the traditional sense of the word, which I personally do not have an issue with. My advice is to provide some discussion. IMO most of your posts are links, which are good if providing data for a HS debate team, but don't in and of themselves help us get to know you. Or, your posts are responding to people trying to get your goat, successfully it would seem. Take this for what it is worth.

I appreciate your sticktoitiveness to continue to insult the one true religion handed down by Jesus to St. Peter. I promised though that I wouldn't insult your cult anymore, and I won't start now. I will suggest however that you consider a similar Christian vow as I have.

Let's get a few things straight. One, nobody knows you. Two, claiming in other threads that Trump wants to be a dictator$#@! almost led me to ask how your brain manages to keep your lungs breathing and heart pumping, it is so mind-numbingly stupid. But I got busy and moved on. I propose that you establish that you are not a 16 yr old Tumblr girl before you act like we think you are smart. -
What concerts do you most regret not attending?

I mentioned it in other threads, but I saw Tool about a month ago, so that bucket list item is done. Also since this thread, I've seen Billy Joel (with Stevie Nicks), who was next on my bucket list. So I need a new bucket list. -

This. By the way @The Real timschochet, I'm pretty confident I bet you $25 on the 4:1 Biden nominee bet. I'm too lazy to go back and try to find it, so if you don't recall it, I'm fine dropping it or you accepting it, either way. Also FWIW, I have both Venmo and Paypal. -

I've said no such thing, and I can't recall ever saying anything to indicate I support the way we do immigration in this country. Don't be an idiot.
