Kansas City Chiefs Fan vs The Woke Mob
jerryskids replied to League Champion's topic in The Geek Club
This is terrible science; I can't believe it was published. Their argument is that by looking at adults who identify as trans, and finding 40% of them felt that way as an adolescent, that ROGD doesn't hold. Yet ROGD, by their own definition, would result in adults who do not identify as trans. So there could be (hyperbolically) a billion adolescents who identified as trans who grew out of it by adulthood, and they would not have been involved in this study. This is logically absurd. Also, we've already discounted your and Squistion's insistence on using the APA, a political left group that does not itself practice, as a bad proxy for the opinions of actual psychologists. -

Your article accidentally skipped a sentence in it's unbiased reporting: https://x.com/ProfBlackistone/status/1730279222566916272?s=20 Individuals are free to do what they want, but that does not mean it is their official position, which is to not dress like that, which makes sense as an official position. I think it is a stretch to say they are against what the kid did. It seems more like they are staying out of it. But that's just my read. -
Good point, unfortunately. All good points. It's clear we are emasculated on a world stage, no leaders fear Biden. Lefties will say it's silly and it's just a coincidence that all of this is happening when a shell of a man is mumbling and bumbling around the White House.

Good one. I'll add this.

Some conservatives want to ban no-fault divorce

Women are programmed to be much more selective in their partners than men. If a caveman gets a cavewoman pregnant, he can just move on. If the cavewoman gets pregnant, she's got a multi-year commitment (cavebaby) to deal with. So a woman's instinct is to make sure she likes the guy and he is likely to stick around before sleeping with him. This flies in the face with the sexual liberation movement, which for every subsequent generation attempts to convince girls that they'll be happy if they sleep with a bunch of random doods. From what I've read, they aren't happier with that behavior. One link: https://www.theatlantic.com/health/archive/2018/10/sexual-partners-and-marital-happiness/573493/ Also, women slut shame because if another woman is slutty, that puts pressure on them to be slutty, and they don't want to do that. See above. -

Back to the OP, I think it's greta that people are still meeting up from here. -
My sense is that Tubby is a large, tough guy IRL, but he sure is acting like a woman in this thread.

Also I don't remember what she drank; I'd have thought a beer, but I don't recall. I do remember that she didn't eat, and I thought we were grabbing food (I was visiting on work travel) so I ate an app or something. -

I do not believe that people should get divorces because "Life is hard, relationships can be challenging, they are not always sunny-happy...." Particularly if you have kids. -

Sounds like a great deal. I bet you have women lined up applying for this position. Also, what is the incentive to break the contract? -

Honestly, with your attitude towards women, I sincerely hope that you never get married. I would pity any woman in such a toxic environment. You have a long way to go before worrying about treating a marriage like buying a car. While you are at it, do a financial analysis for having a child. Pro tip -- it's a negative financially. So no children, right? Winning$#@! -

Would not everything listed here fall under "fault" divorce? The issue at hand is no-fault. -

Sorry I missed this, I was out golfing. Have fun fellas. -
You'll never get pro Palestinians to discuss this. When Israel was formed, the surrounding Arab countries kicked out their Jews and stole their land. Israel got their one small chunk but God forbid we ask the Palestinians to move to any one of a dozen neighboring Islamic countries.

Not saying you are wrong, but he is only in his 20's IIRC, so he doesn't have that life experience. -
Yes, in Australia in 2002. The first time was after being up 26 hours straight and having to drive through downtown Sydney (narrow, windy streets built half a millenium ago). That was interesting. Right turns were weird because you had to cross traffic. At least it was an automatic transmission. It didn't take long to adjust, but in all four days I never got used to the wipers and the turn signal being on opposite sides. Every time I turned I turned on my wipers; that was one clean windshield!

This is an interesting concept, perhaps some sort of Abraham test: in the Old Testament, God asks Abraham to kill his son to prove his love for God. As Abraham is about to do it, God says, "no dummy, don't actually do it, I just wanted to see if you would. You pass." So if she's willing to do the prenup, that is enough, versus actually doing one. Regardless, you have a perverse concept of women. They are clearly lesser beings to you, more like property. My guess is that some female in your life hurt you emotionally, or maybe you were raised in a home where your mom was treated like you espouse. -
This was in America. Well, kinda, it was Oakland

If my wife announced tonight that she wanted to leave me, I would be very surprised because I had seen no indication of it coming. Had I seen it coming, I would have tried to discuss it earlier. But presuming this scenario, I would discuss it with her and also suggest we go to counseling, perhaps both together and separately, to try to work through things. I would be open to behaviors of mine which contributed to her feeling and if it makes sense to modify them. If she refused to do it, again I would be surprised because that is contrary to her personality, and to this point we have both been good about addressing things before they fester. But again presuming she wouldn't try to work on things, or if we exhausted those avenues and she didn't change her mind, then sure, divorce is an option. I had already said that no-fault divorce should be available but rare. I assert that what I described above does not happen in the majority of no-fault divorce: letting things fester instead of addressing them, losing sight of the good parts and the importance of the union, refusing to work on things because "I've made my decision and it's final," are the rule and not the exception. Again, I'm talking no-fault here. The "we just grew apart" type of divorce. -
If the movie industry is relying on me, they've got bigger problems. I saw Oppenheimer in theaters this summer; the previous movie that got me to a theater was American Sniper I think, which came out 9 years ago.

How old are you? I know you are young, but clearly you have very little idea of how a healthy relationship works. You seem to think it is two people sharing a place, both working their own jobs, splitting up the expenses, and occasionally focking?
