🇺🇸Father Trump Talk-🚨The Official Thread of the Week Magaverse👉Squissy no tax on your SS thanks to the BOSS
jerryskids replied to HellToupee's topic in The Geek Club
Thankfully we have centrists like you to point out the false equivalency of a single quote by Trump, arguably accurate regarding Obama pulling Biden's strings, is the same as Pony Boy Biden's daily Alzheimer's rants. -
Mass today was a bit surreal given the events in the Middle East. Keep in mind that the readings were chosen long ago. From the old Testament, we had Psalm 23, best known from funerals: The gospel was the parable of the wedding banquet from Matthew 22. In his homily the priest chose to focus on the inclusivity, the fact that all people are welcome into the kingdom of God. And I think that was a good strategy. We were asked to pray for all in Palestine, and I will do my best. But... But I can't get over the rest of the parable, in which the original guests (many of the Jews/Pharisees of the day) were invited but did not come. Then later, a guest without wedding clothes (one who had not accepted the way of Jesus) was asked to leave. For many are invited, but few are chosen. It is one of the harshest stories in the New Testament, and so serendipitous to be discussed in Mass today. Because while as a Christian I welcome any and all Palestinians to change their ways, I hold out no hope for Hamas or many of the inhabitants there. They have chosen their path, and may God have mercy on their souls.

Transgender World Cup swimming races scrapped after no one enters

One would think that it would be so obvious that we wouldn't have to spend all of that time and money to compile that data, but... here we are. -
Are there enough players in a LIV tourney for us to have a meaningful draft? I'd vote for maybe an unsanctioned event or two from LIV, to see how it goes. But I'll do whatever.

I'm wondering how I made it this far in life without seeing her rack before. I blame you guys; I rely on you all for that kinda stuff, particularly from a conservative politician$#@!

Agreed. I was going to say that the key to that show, heck most shows, is the secondary characters. Also I always had a thing for Lilith. She made for a great "staid librarian during the day, wild sex fiend at night" fantasy.

I fell for it. In my defense, I was gone for two weeks so I hadn't seen it building like you all had. I was going by a small sample size in that particular thread, where he somehow managed to put together coherent sentences with proper grammar.

In my model, some vindictive Veruca Salt-like "real Republicans" vote for Jeffries just to spite their party mates. These are people who care about "being right," even if that means guaranteed losing and never being able to implement your "rightness." I'm not sure what you call it, it's not a pyrrhic victory. Maybe a pyrrhic defeat? Meanwhile the dems unite behind Jeffries, much like they united behind Biden in 2020 while throwing Sanders under the bus. People will say that was wrong, but here we are, under President Biden. My party would rather lose so they can whine about it, than win and actually accomplish some things.

Not exactly an ass whooping so far -
Do liberals still think that covid didn't come from the Wuhan lab that Fauci was funding?
jerryskids replied to Frozenbeernuts's topic in The Geek Club
I just had a thought... one of the articles I read in providing Rusty his links said something about another SARS virus coming from this wet market in 2003. What if... China put this lab in Wuhan for exactly this situation -- a killer virus gets out, and they have plausible deniability by blaming the wet market. I'm not sure what our relative relationship was back when the lab was built, but we're clearly China's biotch these days and will gladly swallow whatever story they tell us to believe. -

He'll probably just shake it off. -
I agree with all of this, including being IN. As I said above, I'd love to do the WM since I'll be there drinking errrr... watching golf a few days, and I may have the opportunity directly encourage players on my team to do better. But if not, no worries.

No, he doesn't. That is letting the perfect be the enemy of the good. He needs to get enough consensus on important issues to move the needle a little bit at a time. I'm waiting for the vindictive little whiny biotch "real Rs" to vote down someone like Scalise and end up with a Dem speaker, behind whom the Democrat party will give all of their votes and support. Because they understand how to win.

Great take. As an engineer, we often talked about women in our field being "engineering hot." Seinfeld?

To be clear: when I say debunked, I mean that this statement in your link: "Definitely the culprit" is categorically false. Raw data became available some time later (apparently to the chagrin of China, as it soon was deleted). But that data showed only that Covid and animal (and human) genes were all found in the stalls, not that there was some ground-zero animal that was tested. Had an infected person from the lab visited the wet market, they would have found the same evidence. So I'm not saying it was definitely a lab leak; I'm say that it was NOT definitely a wet market origin, given current data. The following may be the article I read a while back, from NYT. It seems familiar anyway: https://www.nytimes.com/2023/03/16/science/covid-wuhan-market-raccoon-dogs-lab-leak.html US agencies are also split on the origins: https://www.npr.org/sections/goatsandsoda/2023/02/28/1160162845/what-does-the-science-say-about-the-origin-of-the-sars-cov-2-pandemic -
That time between the scan and the results is the worst, isn't it? Mayo has an app where they post them before my appointment, so I usually know how it went (I've become an amateur radiologist report reader. ). I sit there F5'ing the app for an hour or two. I've always had treatment after my appointment so I never got liquid courage before. Maybe next time now that my treatments are done...

The MSM will turn against Israel when it sends troops into Gaza and the forum liberal trolls will follow as best they can
jerryskids replied to JustinCharge's topic in The Geek Club
I think you'll find that any actions by Israel which jeopardize let alone harm civilians will be met with harsh criticism by the MSM. I'm interested to see if Israel finally says fock it and bombs the hospitals etc. where chicken shiot Hamas hides after attacks. -

To me, the difference is that Ukraine desperately needs our help, whereas for Israel we mostly just need to not object to them going Kaiser Soze on Hamas. -
Tell your wife I left my electric toothbrush there while you were in Sacramento.

I imagine so, at least for chubby lovers like @BunnysBastatrds

Man, I am so, so happy for you! You were tremendously helpful during the early, difficult parts of my own journey. Couldn't happen to a nicer guy.

You know this has been debunked, right? I believe the latest is "we aren't really sure. Allegedly." -

The vaccine definition was always what it is. And we've always been at war with Eastasia.
