Cmon Tim, this is @squistion-level semantic games. She was chosen because she was perceived as the best AA woman candidate available, that is indisputable, since Biden said as much. For all I know she may be an awesome back-office project manager. But she is terrible in public and as a potential POTUS candidate. You know how I know? Because we never see her. The DNC would have loved for her to be the obvious pick to take over for Joe; if she had any modicum of popularity, they'd have whisked Joe off to the sunset (for the next election if not already).

Hunter Biden indicted on nine tax charges, adding to gun charges in special counsel probe
jerryskids replied to League Champion's topic in The Geek Club
Hmm... Joe wanted to accelerate investigations into Burisma, where he knew his son was "consulting"? That's a theory I guess. Anyway, you asked what I think, and I told you that things seem a little fishy and why. At least worth investigating. -

I'm still interested in your explanation of Biden's statement in the phone call, which remarkably your objective wiki article somehow missed. What is critical to repair? And if Biden is a "man of his word" in response to Poroshenko's firing of Shokin, why did Poroshenko deny that Biden had any impact, as per your objective link? The Fox News interviewer responded, "Okay, so that is not true. He didn't get fired because of Joe Biden." Poroshenko confirmed this, adding Shokin was fired by the Ukrainian parliament "for his own statement" and "he played a very dirty game unfortunately." Just seems like somethin is off. -

Did Media Matters write this? 28 instances of the word "false" or "falsehood," the author needs a thesaurus. So basically this pinnacle of reporting is saying that the entire world was trying to fire Shokin because they all cared so much, but only Biden riding in on a $1B white stallion could get the job done? And also muh Russia and Trump$#@! -

I'll try to read it, but I honestly hope you aren't trying to pass this off as an objective analysis when it starts: I'll add this to the "Wikipedia is biased" pile. -

Hush child, I'm having an adult discussion with @thegeneralabout evidence. Maybe you can learn something. Boyo. -

It's certainly evidence. Whether it is proof is for the "courts" to decide. I think the implications from the prosecution side are clear: Shokin was investigating Burisma, Biden said he had to go, and he held up the $1B until it happened. In the call Biden said regarding Shokin's replacement, "“It’s going to be critical for him to work quickly to repair the damage that Shokin did." I would assert an Occam's Razor claim to what Biden thought "critical" to repair. What do you think it meant? -

I see that you are allergic to data. Good quality for a lawyer. -

Seems like once again I need to educate you on the difference between evidence and proof. There is plenty of evidence. The question is whether or not it rises to the level of proof. HTH -
DBacks and Suns (and Coyotes I think) were Bally Sports teams but Bally AZ went belly up during the summer. DBacks have been carried on cable and were also streamable last year (without mlb app), but Suns were moved to a local station which is carried on cable, but not streamed. To their credit, the Suns sent out free antennas to anyone who requested one (we did for our bedroom, which doesn't have a cable box). It's basically been a bit of a mess. I expect the Suns with their uber rich new owner to fix it soon, but I don't know what "fix" will mean.

Because there aren't better instances; unarmed police killings are extremely rare. I've posted this link before but: https://manhattan.institute/article/there-is-no-epidemic-of-fatal-police-shootings-against-unarmed-black-americans It is an incredibly low number given the number of interactions, and went down during the Trump admin. And given that those interactions are, in general, with the less savory members of our society. You are twice as likely to die from being struck by lightning: Unfortunately for the Left (the party of science), this data does not fit their narrative. Put another way, the reason they can "say their names" is because there are so few victims. -
It was good. Him, a percussionist, and another keyboardist/vocalist. It was at the Musical Instrument Museum here, a great venue with seating for 3-400 people, so ever seat is great. He played for about 75 minutes and did all of his hits IMO except for "The Things We've Handed Down." (Walking in Memphis, Silver Thunderbird, Ghost Train, 29 Ways, a few others). Not that he sang terribly high back in the day, but he didn't push his range or belt out notes like he used to. Still, that first album was one of our most played back in the day, so it was thoroughly enjoyable.

Jasmine Crockett tells it like it is

Do you have a link which shows these 1000 agents dedicated solely to preventing illegal entry, and that Biden doesn't plan to keep letting people in on asylum claims and releasing them on a wing and a prayer that they'll show up somewhere down the road? -

Is she talking about Biden's proposal to mostly give money to Ukraine, and when it comes to our border, to add people to help process the illegal aliens we plan to keep letting in? If so, then yeah, Republicans are obstructing. If not, please correct me. -
Sure I did: hundreds of Antifa members were in those riots, as per the link. You ask how I know they were Antifa members, then make some vague references to KKK stuff without a link. You aren't very good at this.

Not acceptable behavior for a presidential candidate

Da fuq?! They'll steal our funny signs from our cold, dead hands! Seriously, we all enjoy the humor in the signs, which also have a message that we would otherwise ignore with a bland sign. -
I responded to Rusty's link and I'm done answering your questions. Provide evidence of KKK violence/rioting or apologize for making shiot up, your choice.

Sorry, I was out for the evening yesterday (side note: went to a Marc Cohn concert; my wife and I danced to his song "True Companion" 30+ years ago as our wedding dance). Here is the post: Mea culpa, it was to Rusty aka Pimpadeaux, not you, and there were hundreds, not thousands. But the point remains that they are organized to get hundreds of people to events. Feel free to post a link to those terrible KKK events in recent years/decades.

Hey Wiff, how has your health been? Whenever you disappear for a while I get a little concerned. Well, more accurately, I forget about you, but then I'm happy when I see you post again.

My wheelhouse for Maiden is Number of the Beast, Piece of Mind, and to a lesser extent, Powerslave (although Rime is on my short list of favorite songs), those being my formative HS years. I'd probably go with Hallowed Be Thy Name as favorite song if I had to pick just one though. Love Flight of Icarus and Run to the Hills as well. Hell, I love most of the songs on those albums.

This is one of my main concerns -- if elected, how effective will he be this time around? -
Mine has a hole in it from my laryngectomy, so prolly not worth much.
