Yep. Most likely a Hamas oopsie, followed closely by Hamas doing it on purpose. Israel doing it is a distant third, but frankly I wouldn't care if they did it. Hamas has no soul; they put their military structures in hospitals and other civilian areas in direct contradiction of the rules of war, because they rely on our reacting with western values. They are not human, as we define human. They take pipes we send to improve the water supply, the supply they soiled with their tunnels, and they turn them into fusilages for rockets. They take concrete for infrastructure and turn it into more tunnels. They use their people as human shields, and they prevent them from leaving, because they need the shields. Give people as much time as practical to leave, into Egypt or one of their many Arab brethren countries (but shockingly, they won't let them in, because they don't want the Hamas cancer spreading into their countries. This also is Israel's fault I presume). Anyway, let people get out who can, then turn Gaza into a sheet of glass. There is no "oh noes, the reciprocation!" One side seeks out and burns and tortures babies, rapes and kills women, and uses their people as shields. The other attacks the military, which is placed in civilian areas, and in doing so kills some civilians. You are on one side or the other; "can't they all just get along" is childish and impossible. If Hamas dropped their weapons today, there would be peace tomorrow. If Israel dropped their weapons today, they would all be dead tomorrow. There is no moral relativism with evil, and there is no negotiating with Hamas. They do not want land, they want to kill all the Jews. They proudly say "you celebrate life, we celebrate death." Just end them already and give them what they want.

Yeah, those two are the same. Kinda like "Hamas and Israel each kill children so they are the same."

If by inform people of his character, you mean inform people of allegations which should have been adjudicated back in 2018 or better yet decades earlier, and instead of doing so just throw them out every time he is in the headlines because he plays for a different team than the MSM, then we agree.
-
The Left needs no internal negotiations; they support ALL the moneys for ALL the pet projects, and just print another trillion or two dollars if needed. Much cleaner that way.
-
So this was all addressed five years ago? Why is it coming up again? Wait, I can guess.
-
Thank goodness the unbiased MSM found this story in such a timely manner, and that the wrestlers are coming forward now vs... 30 years ago, or when Jordan was running for Congress. I'm not in any way defending abuse, I'm merely postulating that the timing of these things is quite serendipitous.
-
Back on topic, I agree with this. It's probably a matter of timing: I was 14 in 1981 when Jenilee joined, and girls were... much more interesting than they were a few short years before.

Will you please just delete your account and never return? None of these are MDC, and you look more idiotic every time you post this, if that is possible.

The Comments Section With Brett Cooper: "Tipping Is Out Of Control"

God bless 'Murca and god bless you for defending her glory by providing Red Robin as a shining example of a fine dining experience. Consider me put in my place; well done, sir. -
Bartender, I'll have what he's having!

The Comments Section With Brett Cooper: "Tipping Is Out Of Control"

I just came back from 2 weeks in Italy and I must say, their no-tip culture is da bomb! Tell the waiter you want the check and you are paying by card; he brings out the check and a wireless POS device. You look it over, he punches in the amount, you tap the card, and WALLA! you are done and can leave. A few nicer places did add a service fee (it was called something else, can't remember) to cover linens, etc. It was never that much though. And I didn't see any of the things mentioned up thread from Italy, like slice fees etc. Wife and I shared at least one dish more often than not, and I never saw any shenanigans. -
Very sad. Fock cancer.

As a Cards fan, this season was supposed to be the year of tanking (and rooting for Houston to suck, since we have their #1 as well) and having the option of drafting Williams, or trading it for a king's ransom. But the Cards have been competitive and Houston is 2-3, so I was torn. Then yesterday I finally watched Williams play for extended periods and... meh. I guess I see a little of the Mahomey ad libbing, but more likely I see another USC QB who dominates in college because they get the pick of the SoCal talent around them, then lays a dud. I'll need to start watching Maye and Penix more. Regardless, I hope several of these guys are highly coveted, to give us the above options/value.

🇺🇸Father Trump Talk-🚨The Official Thread of the Week Magaverse👉Should Donald Suspend Habeas Corpus?

If not "daily Alzheimer's rants," how would you propose to more accurately characterize Biden's cognitive state? -

Thankfully we have centrists like you to point out the false equivalency of a single quote by Trump, arguably accurate regarding Obama pulling Biden's strings, is the same as Pony Boy Biden's daily Alzheimer's rants. -
Mass today was a bit surreal given the events in the Middle East. Keep in mind that the readings were chosen long ago. From the old Testament, we had Psalm 23, best known from funerals: The gospel was the parable of the wedding banquet from Matthew 22. In his homily the priest chose to focus on the inclusivity, the fact that all people are welcome into the kingdom of God. And I think that was a good strategy. We were asked to pray for all in Palestine, and I will do my best. But... But I can't get over the rest of the parable, in which the original guests (many of the Jews/Pharisees of the day) were invited but did not come. Then later, a guest without wedding clothes (one who had not accepted the way of Jesus) was asked to leave. For many are invited, but few are chosen. It is one of the harshest stories in the New Testament, and so serendipitous to be discussed in Mass today. Because while as a Christian I welcome any and all Palestinians to change their ways, I hold out no hope for Hamas or many of the inhabitants there. They have chosen their path, and may God have mercy on their souls.

Transgender World Cup swimming races scrapped after no one enters

One would think that it would be so obvious that we wouldn't have to spend all of that time and money to compile that data, but... here we are. -
Are there enough players in a LIV tourney for us to have a meaningful draft? I'd vote for maybe an unsanctioned event or two from LIV, to see how it goes. But I'll do whatever.

I'm wondering how I made it this far in life without seeing her rack before. I blame you guys; I rely on you all for that kinda stuff, particularly from a conservative politician$#@!

Agreed. I was going to say that the key to that show, heck most shows, is the secondary characters. Also I always had a thing for Lilith. She made for a great "staid librarian during the day, wild sex fiend at night" fantasy.

I fell for it. In my defense, I was gone for two weeks so I hadn't seen it building like you all had. I was going by a small sample size in that particular thread, where he somehow managed to put together coherent sentences with proper grammar.

In my model, some vindictive Veruca Salt-like "real Republicans" vote for Jeffries just to spite their party mates. These are people who care about "being right," even if that means guaranteed losing and never being able to implement your "rightness." I'm not sure what you call it, it's not a pyrrhic victory. Maybe a pyrrhic defeat? Meanwhile the dems unite behind Jeffries, much like they united behind Biden in 2020 while throwing Sanders under the bus. People will say that was wrong, but here we are, under President Biden. My party would rather lose so they can whine about it, than win and actually accomplish some things.

Do liberals still think that covid didn't come from the Wuhan lab that Fauci was funding?
jerryskids replied to Frozenbeernuts's topic in The Geek Club
I just had a thought... one of the articles I read in providing Rusty his links said something about another SARS virus coming from this wet market in 2003. What if... China put this lab in Wuhan for exactly this situation -- a killer virus gets out, and they have plausible deniability by blaming the wet market. I'm not sure what our relative relationship was back when the lab was built, but we're clearly China's biotch these days and will gladly swallow whatever story they tell us to believe.
