I stand corrected. You claim to be a "moderate" who posts 99%+ supporting the Left.

To use your phrase: lol. https://x.com/DropSiteNews Not exactly unbiased.

First English response: This is known. UNRWA helps them, that's why Israel stopped supporting UNRWA and instead initiated their own process of getting aid to Gazans. Internalize this, Tim: Israel went out of their way and risked their people and resources to provide aid for a people who still largely support their enemy. This is a first in the history of war. There is not moral equivalence, which is what you are trying to believe and finding sources to support, no matter how much you object to that description.

No, I call him that sarcastically because he thinks of himself as center-right, but 99%+ of his posts here are the opposite.

Why don't you stick to wasting our time with posts like "Liberals are so stupid" for the 98276143920th time, when you have nothing of substance to contribute, mkay?

OK. Why do you think Israel destroyed that ambulance on purpose, when they could have done and been doing the other mass destruction I just described? Did they hate that particular ambulance?

Hmm, somehow I don't remember this. I'd appreciate a link. You are a rube, center-right guy. Israel could have turned Palestine into glass on October 8th. They could be destroying Tehran now. They aren't, but they just had to destroy that ambulance, eh? Because they are evil like Hamas! The same! Sorry you lack moral clarity.

It's not a whatabout, it directly answered your question. There is a difference between "done no wrong" and moral equivalency. Accidentally targeting an ambulance, and admitting it afterward, is not a war crime, it is an unfortunate mistake in the incredibly complex situation. Your posting it as a war crime shows your view it as an equivalency. But hey, I'm sure some Israeli soldiers did some war crimes to some Palestinians. They're the same! Also, you haven't answered what Israel should be doing instead.

Odd, I've mentioned it a jillion times. She lives in Washington Heights aka Little Dominican on the northern end of Manhattan, due west of Yankee Stadium, and works in the fashion district. She's been there almost two years and has observed that things have gotten worse in that time. I spoke to her this week; she and her roommate would like to move to Brooklyn, even though the roommate is going to Columbia med school for physical therapy which is close to their current apartment. I don't know for sure who she voted for. Last week I posted that she is fairly Leftie but she recognizes Zohran as more than a little whackadoodle. But I can't imagine voting for Cuomo would have been popular in her social circle.

That addresses the war crimes, but not what they should be doing in general. And regarding your link, it starts with "Israel admits mistake." You are Mr. X, do you have a link where Hamas admits a mistake? Of course not; the Left has no expectations of Hamas, it's all Israel's fault. Do you know why you can find a link like that? Because it's rare, and when it happens, Israel admits it. It's like "say their name!" -- you can say them because so few unarmed black people are killed by police. War isn't perfect. If what you posted is your model of a war crime, then you are welcome to your Focault-ish faulty moral relativism. "Both sides do bad stuff!"

My daughter went to school in Phoenix. She lives and works in NYC now. Whatabout what now? Well then nothing bad can ever happen I guess.
  12. Umm... allowing something to happen is exactly "tacit endorsement": https://getidiom.com/dictionary/english/tacit-endorsement Allowing Antifa to take over CHAZ was a tacit endorsement of Antifa. Well, other than Durkin with her "block party" vibe, that's an explicit endorsement. And the socialist Councilwoman I mentioned earlier. It was also a dereliction of their sworn commitment to protect the people that lived and worked in those areas. HTH

Why don't you start with what war crimes they have committed, and more importantly, what they should do or should have done differently to defeat Hamas, the terrorist organization duly elected by the Palestinian people, who build their bases under hospitals and schools, and who steal aid from their own people to create photo ops of starving children for simple-minded Leftists? I still haven't gotten a single answer to this question other than "I dunno, but not that!"

My daughter lives there. The UN is there, and Zohran says he'll arrest the PM of Israel if he goes to NY. NYC is integral to the success of a bazillion businesses not the least of which is our entire financial infrastructure.
  15. Really Squissy? In 2020 the city of Seattle allowed Antifa to take over a section of their city. Of course no politician came out and endorsed "violence or violent activity or criminal behavior," duh. But allowing it to happen and not eliminating it is tacit endorsement. Oh, and since you asked, I present Kshama Sawant, Seattle City Councilwoman during the riots. Yes, she is an exception (it happens but it's rare). The main support was allowing it to happen. HTH
  16. Umm... CHAZ? The entire Summer of Love where Democratic-run jurisdictions let Antifa do whatever they want?

I've reread this and agree my last sentence is confusing to the overall message. I've corrected it above. HTH

And followed it up with "WHY, vote for the Muslim Socialist!" The "why" was supposed to be a sarcastic "why". Never mind, I'll write it off as a good point I had that was lost on people parsing individual words instead of the message.

The Jews who "separate Israel from Jews" are not very Jewish. That was your initial comment. Nor are the ones who voted for a Muslim Socialist. That was my point.

I didn't say he supported Hamas. I said supporting Zohran is the new way for Woke young Jews to score social justice points, and that Hamas was so 2024.
  23. Wait, you don't think Antifa is anarchist and working towards the destruction of America, at least as we know it?
  24. Phase 2: It happens but it's rare.

Or, evidence that a lot of Jews aren't very Jewish. My barber is a Jew who emigrated from Soviet Russia to NY before moving here; I assure you he wouldn't have voted for Zohran. If you are a young, upper middle class person in NYC who happened to be born into a Jewish family, what better way to score social points than to support Hamas? Why, vote for a Muslim Socialist mayor! Besides, Hamas was so 2024, immigrants are the new Palestinians anyway! Tim here thinks these Jews are honoring Shabbat, going to temple, eating Kosher, and supporting a Muslim terrorist organization against their family's homeland.
