  1. Doubling down on Saint Garcia and the 20 side I see... I've stated at least 3 times in this thread now (make it 4) that I think we should try to get him back. This part of the discussion is idiotic and I'm done with it. Take the win you crave, even though I said it before you became a yip yip dog. The courts ruled that there was sufficient evidence that he was/is MS-13 to withhold bail. Do we do that willy nilly? No, it must have been compelling to the judge. You can invent all of the fantasies about the cop that you want, but Occam's Razor says he was generally a cop doing cop things, other than whatever shady stuff he had going on in that one scenario. If he just made up stuff all the time, he'd have been found out and removed long ago. HTH
  2. I didn't move any goalposts. I've said at least twice in the last page or so that we should get him back. I was unclear about the 80/20 part: propping this gang banger up as an awesome guy is the 20 side. Getting him back is the majority, but I doubt 80/20. But since you went there: what do you believe is the motivation of the "dirty cop" to have like about Garcia? Was he just feeling particularly evil that day? Also, you seem to think one judge doesn't matter, but one judge issued the stay solely on the statements of the gang banger. Would you say that is compelling evidence?
  3. Hegseth is not an illegal alien with an order of protection against him. HTH
  4. Two judges heard evidence that you haven't heard, and determined that it was likely that he is MS-13. Regardless, it's not necessary to prove it in a court of law to deport him. I don't know why you Centrists keep taking the 20 side of 80/20 things. You should concede that he is a sh1tbag, and focus on the fact that our courts had issues a legal stay, and we follow the law, even for sh1tbags. Like Gutter earlier. That's a much stronger position.
  5. I've already said I think we should bring him back I guess #metoo was so 2024.
  6. Of course he denies it. And George Floyd couldn't breathe from the moment the police arrived. But you bring up a good point that I haven't seen discussed: adding to his model citizen resume, when his mother was threatened, he ran away to another country. I had heard that an appellate court upheld it, but I could be wrong. Regardless, it's funny how you centrists dismiss this ruling(s), but you consider the questionable stay of deportation as gospel.

80/20 Issues that are Killing Liberals- Just added- LA Riots

Who did you vote for, dope?
  8. I agree, but to be clear, the "due process" is that he had a legal stay of deportation to El Salvador. Earlier courts had accepted his affiliation with MS-13, so I'm good with that. Which reminds me: a gang member can get a stay of deportation because they fear another gang? Isn't that, like, what you sign up for when you join a gang? Seems like weak sauce; any gang member can make that claim.
  9. Victims of domestic abuse often feel this way.
  10. Wut? I asked the following: Instead of providing specific examples, you just kept on screeching.
  11. Harvard has a top medical research infrastructure; I'm fine giving them money for advanced research. Most everything else, meh...

  13. I'll take that as "I've got no examples, I just want to rant again about Trump." Carry on.

    Viagra vs Cialis

I read the bolded and thought, hmm, I think I've experienced this. Sure enough, yesterday I popped a 1/4 pill to help overcome the muscle relaxant and nerve block I'm on. The good news is it made my noodle quite al dente. The bad news is it took me forever to finish. I was on the edge for a long time and it actually felt pretty good, but after a while I felt bad for my wife who was working it like a pro. I imagine pron stars take these to get both effects. I might retire them, though. I might first try a few more times, since a sample of one (while on meds) isn't exactly a good experiment.
  15. I described Khalil, the hero victim of your side. If there are students with no ties to terrorism and who haven't terrorized Jews on campus, I agree with you. Feel free to list them and their claim to innocence.
  16. I don't completely disagree with this. There is antisemitism on campuses, and Trump is using that as a wedge to attack the higher problem of systemic, DEFCON 1 Leftism on most campuses. I'll admit that I don't know how to fix that latter problem. I think it is a very serious problem (I'll stop short of "existential," as I don't want to dilute the importance of that word) that needs addressing though, and my hope is that the courts rein in whatever needs reining. I think we are seeing Trump's "art of the deal" on a macro scale -- ask for everything and try to negotiate back from there. I think that is probably a fine approach for this problem. I'm more concerned about the approach with tariffs and other global issues, over which we as a country do not have control.
  17. It's both. On the DEI side, I've seen my own school explode in the number of DEI and DEI-adjacent staff. These salaries get paid for, in part, by the money skimmed off the top for "administration" of federal grants, which is why Trump put in the 15% limit. Our tax dollars shouldn't pay for that stuff.
  18. Those college kids are ignorant and just repeating words they hear. Especially the 30 year old Palestinian students from Syria who have been trained in the UNRWA Hamas training grounds.
  19. I quoted Rahm Emmanuel. Not sure your point of quoting a poster here, but congrats on the win.
  20. Why is it weird when I just said that the hack site obfuscated the relationship between the two. Speaking of which, glad that you've come around on the fact that there is no relationship between the two events.
  21. Moral relativism is a core tenet of the Left. Oh, OK, Trump will install an authoritarian dictatorship.
  22. Never let a good crisis go to waste, Tim.
  23. BTW, I think team Trump should return the guy, both legally and politically. Politically, I think it strengthens his case for sending the rest of them, as well as appeases those in the 80/20 who care about the rule of law.
