History does as well. Once again proving you aren't a serious poster, moderate Jew guy.

He's not wrong. What we've come to call the "West Bank" is historically Judea and Samaria. Judea is where the word "Jew" comes from. Samaria is Samaritans, also known from the Bible. All of this is centuries before Islam existed. HTH

RFK Jr cancels $500 million for vaccine development

I told you I'm concerned. What do you think is your big win with me here, Scoop?

RFK Jr cancels $500 million for vaccine development

Well, I said "arguably," and I stand by that. While research on them had started long before, a lot of things were accelerated in 2020. And yes, I'm interested in cancer research, but as I said I haven't looked into this enough to state specific concerns. Please just stop engaging with me, moderate guy. You are just a troll at this point, not interested in or worthy of serious discussion. TIA.

RFK Jr cancels $500 million for vaccine development

No. This concerns me. My (admittedly uninformed) scientific opinion is that mRNA vaccines, while arguably rushed for the Covid vaccines, have significant promise and should not be defunded. Instead they should be better vetted.

first pron you ever saw without your parents

I was in HS in the early 80s and only saw the squiggly lines on the cable box; wasn't until college from 85-89 that I saw my first pron. I don't know which was first; I have a vague memory of a scene from Debbie Does Dallas, and stronger memories from Insatiable and Behind the Green Door. Marilyn Chambers was VHS was still pretty new then, so the pickings were slim. In Boston there was a department store/chain called Lechmere (sp?) which offered 30 day returns, no questions asked. Friends of mine "rented" high end stereo equipment for 29 days, returned it, then "rented" something else. I tried it once as a senior, with a then-new combo 19-inch CRT TV/VCR unit that I put in my room. I was dating a hot former competitive ice skater from the Katherine Gibbs Secretarial School at the time, and we had 29 days of fun with it.

John Stossel - Mamdani’s Bad Ideas

He doesn't like socialism. Or big government. Those are pillars of the Left.

John Stossel - Mamdani’s Bad Ideas

I heard Kamala didnt support paying for medically transitioning convicts. It wasn't on her website. Fact check FTW!

I think aid distribution should go back to Hamas and UNRWA. Because they really care about the Palestinians.

Is that what fact checkers say?
  11. I don't recall their exact comments or the contexts for them. More importantly, I don't care to waste time analyzing, so spare us all a lengthy quote-filled opus.
  12. I'll take the W, thanks. And as a person who yip yips at people's heels for months to get them to accept the L, please nag yourself until you accept it. TIA
  13. We had the discussion. You love to spend hours going back to recreate such things, feel free to do so. Have a good evening.

  15. No, I argued it might be customary in El Sal to serve people margaritas, dope. You are so irretrievably broken, it's pretty much not worth talking to you at this point.
  16. I agree that a lot of the value from college is stuff like the bolded, as well as learning to manager your time, budget money, live on your own (our kids all went local to ASU but lived in dorms (two kids, one year) or apartments (the rest of the time, they hated the dorms).
  17. I didn't say that. I personally think it is unlikely that they were drinking margaritas. This comes primarily from my own research -- when we discussed this in the past, I asked if perhaps having a margarita was a social norm in El Sal. You didn't answer, and later I looked it up -- the answer is no, margaritas aren't popular there. They had some other drink I hadn't heard of, I don't recall at the moment. My point is that Van Hollen is either a liar or a gullible dupe, as per the X post I shared. HTH Does this constitute a gay slur on your part?
  18. This Van Hollen, the arbiter of truth who puppets whatever Hamas Harry tells him about numbers, and says that Israel has completely blockaded UN aid? lol
  19. I agree with your father in principle. We were lucky that Arizona gives pretty much a free tuition ride to kids who excel at SATs and/or GPA. I negotiated with my wife that we would pay for room and books like she wanted, but they would work for any spending money. It worked well, as all three worked during summers and as their course loads allowed during the semester. One of the three changed majors and took > 4 years; we did have her take out loans to help pay for that, since the above scholarship expired.
  20. https://nypost.com/2025/08/04/media/start-the-presses-new-york-post-will-expand-to-la-with-launch-of-the-california-post/ I'm happy for the people of California.
  21. It was stated above that Newsom's law only applies to companies with 60 or more stores nationwide. That's a bit of a lie though, as smaller companies will still need to pay market or near-market wages to retain staff. Like you, I worked many jobs for that magical $3.35/hour number. When I got to college and got a job in their bookbinding department for $5.40, I was all cha-CHING! Interestingly, I don't hate minimum wage as much as you appear to. I think it served a purpose. But that purpose was to set a minimum for "starter" jobs, intended for mostly HS kids, often at fast food restaurants. If you are working a minimum wage job at a fast food restaurant, you should either be living at home with your parents or in a fleabag apartment with at least 3 other renters, all of you eating ramen every day. It was never intended to provide a living wage to support a family and live on your own.

I came here to post this.
  23. I'm trying to imagine the mental state it requires to follow Riley Gaines on X and monitor her posts daily in hopes of finding some nugget to finally secure that gotcha proving that she isn't a saint.

    Favorite Bass player

A few I like that haven't been mentioned: Chris Squire from Yes John Chancellor from Tool. So many great Tool bass lines, hard to pick just one. Here is Schism:
