Thoughts from the Hamas apologists here?

    Gerrymandering

Presuming this is true, it is disappointing that such things can occur. While I generally endorse moving control from federal to state level, the ability of a legislation to gerrymander to maintain control (TX), or a governor to override an independent commission (CA), without some checks and balances, seems antithetical to our election process.

Where do you stand with Iron Maiden ? Sperm off.

Awesome story, thanks! I've got a little chub for Shannon myself.
  4. This seems like an odd subject to be so partisan about. Are we supposed to believe that every Republican in Congress (besides Hawley) wants to grift, and every Democrat wants to stop it? Something else must be going on here.

Interesting, maybe that's why I like them. I was a musician back in the day, and always leaned towards musicality (dare I say, I was a music snob). My friends who introduced me to Maiden also liked groups like Judas Priest, which is meh to me. But I love(d) Maiden. For Metallica, my favorite songs (One, Unforgiven, Nothing Else Matters, maybe a few more) were the more melodic songs as well. Oh well, that's why God made different music.
  6. You initially said reflection, not absorption. Looking just at reflection, if we have perfect reflection at both the atmosphere and the earth, that becomes a infinite geometric series: The sum of x = 0 to infinity of 0.7*(0.3^x), the value of which is one. So it's a wash. Of course, the reflection of the earth is far from perfect, so the practical value would be <1, which is to say, less solar power reaches the earth. For instance, if reflection is only 50%, the sum would be 14/17 of that without the gases. Said another way, the initial reflection is never offset by the sum of all subsequent reflections. Perhaps this is why scientists originally predicted global cooling 50 years ago? Anyway, there must be something to the absorption, but I don't feel like figuring out that more complex math. But my instinct is that we'd end up in the same place, with a theoretical maximum of the same, and a practical overall reduction. We need @MTSkiBumto come back and school me. He's a petroleum engineer who has posted analyses showing increased temperature in the past.
  7. Talking about EVs: on my recent vacation to the Yoop of Michigan, my nephew drove his Mustang EV. Very sharp looking, a british racing green. Anyway, when he got there, we searched around the house and found an outlet such that he could park right next to the porch and reach it with his plug. But it was a normal 110V, low amp outlet. Four days later we were out on a boat and for whatever reason he checked an app and announced that his car was almost, but not quite, charged. I'd consider a hybrid or plug-in hybrid, but full EV? Fuggeddaboutit.
  8. I think this is unfair. Most of the people who go into some sort of climate change career truly believe that the earth is in trouble from man-made effects. That, however, significantly impacts the research they do and the results they publish. I do not believe there are a lot of truly objective scientists in the field. It's like a lot of medical fields. Doctors who perform abortions, shockingly, support abortions. Doctors who do trans surgeries, shockingly, support trans surgeries. Some of it is financial, sure, but I think they generally believe in what they do, or else they wouldn't have entered the field. But, wouldn't it also reflect the light as it is first coming in?

Israel Gaza thread- is the peace agreement still in effect?

NBC News got it from Hamas Harry, like the rest of the MSM. Are you referencing the cystic fibrosis kid gaslighted as starving, or the cerebral palsy kid gaslighted as starving? UNRWA is sitting on a shiot-ton of aid in Gaza because they won't let IDF escort them in. Why is that? You'll probably say that they are afraid that IDF will shoot all of the aid recipients, like the dope from Maryland. Did you learn anything from my link showing how UNRWA is tied closely to Hamas? Or did you ignore it because it didn't fit your center-unbiased position? GHF is giving aid. UNRWA is sitting on aid, see above, because they won't let IDF escort them. Because they want to give the aid to Hamas. Well, the bolded starts with eliminating Hamas. And Palestinians have been offered a state multiple times over the past 70 or so years. The offer is always turned down by whatever shiotbag terrorist organization is elected by the Palestinian people at the time. Thoughts on the Palestinians being indignant about food being air dropped in?

You are correct. UNRWA is sitting on aid because they care more about GHF failing than helping the Palestinian people. This is because they are working with Hamas, who wants to control aid distribution. For Tim and others who weren't aware of UNRWA's involvement with Hamas: https://unwatch.org/the-unholy-alliance-unrwa-hamas-and-islamic-jihad/ Tim S desperately needs to find significant fault with his people. That's what good Lefties do. Bless your heart. Did Hamas Harry tell you that? This has been adjudicated with the other Tim. How about when food started getting air dropped, and the reaction of the desperate, starving-to-death people was... indignance. How humiliating$#@! Really? That wasn't staged by Hamas Productions?

Are you aware that 2.1 million Arabs live in Israel? Or do you think everyone protesting is a soft Israel-hating Jew like yourself?

Israel Gaza thread- is the peace agreement still in effect?

You know that UNRWA is a Hamas shill, right? And that the "aid" going through UNRWA was going straight to Hamas. Which is why Hamas is apoplectic about the GHF eliminating Hamas from the loop. Tell me if you know this.

I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...

What's your response to my ??? above? That's right, you have none. Because when your argument is rarity, the answer is to exclude the rare cases. But you won't do that, will you, center-right guy? Thanks for the W.

As expected, unresponsive. I'll take the W and move on with my day.

Whatever the number is for sports, each one of them negatively impacts the girls on his team, district, region, state, and maybe national competition. So, the impact far outweighs the individual man. Let's try a thought experiment: Lefty Rusty: The number of trannies in [insert area] is teeny tiny, why do you care?#@! Me: Fine, if it is so small, let's just not let them in [insert area]. Problem solved with minimal impact. Lefty Rusty: ???

I find it hard to not see trans as mental illness...

Just so I understand: I type one sentence (which clearly hit the mark), you spend the next 10 minutes researching the interwebs, and I'm the one with the obsession? Oh, and I didn't say bathrooms. I said safe spaces. Locker rooms, saunas, prisons, etc. I'm ambivalent about bathrooms. But reading was never your strong suit when making a center-right argument.

Rusty doesn't have daughters, and his wife is an uber left wing cat lady, so he doesn't understand why fathers and husbands would want to protect the females in their lives from men invading women's safe spaces and sports.

That's Matt Walsh from The Daily Wire. He made "What is a Woman?", a documentary about the trans movement and its difficulty answering the title question. So it literally is his job to discuss such things. HTH

    2025: Items for review

I'm fine with the division/schedule change, division mixup (only my second year so, whatever). I'd add a little to fees to pay the season high score, but it seems that momentum is against this. I'll defer to you guys on another IR spot. Seems like a lot for a redraft league, but whatever.
