  1. Personally, I agree with you regarding approach. As I've done here recently, I concede that some people truly believe they are the opposite sex. But that doesn't mean that the biological males should be able to compete with biological females. That being said, none of this addresses Riley's motivations for her comments.
  2. The substance is the context of what she was quoting, which is no longer there. Be better. But I'll try one more time a different way: Gaines' goal is to get men out of women's sports. There are people who influence that decision who do not compete in those sports. So it is in her interest to spread the message that men are not women beyond a sports-only discussion. We went through this basic discussion last week and I thought you understood it. It seems you still don't, or don't want to, or don't want to admit it. Keep focusing on the important stuff on this topic Tim: your yip yip need to think bad thoughts about Riley.
  3. I was merely trying to say that I'm not familiar with a site called "Data Republican," nor do I know how one curates the list they have. I won't make that mistake in the future. I'll just post it confidently, like you would.
  4. Your first link doesn't have anything of substance. Your second link: you still don't see that it is in the interest of Riley Gaines' cause to spread the word that men are not women, regardless of venue. The belief that men can be women is why men are allowed to compete in women's sports. HTH. Awesome that you are still focusing on the real issue, though.

  6. lol, I'm not autistic so I didn't spend all day trying to reconstruct the list from first principles. Some, like the ACLU, are known to have financed it. So it's at least partially correct.
  7. My point was that Squissy doesn't live near the riot area, so his comment about not seeing riots is irrelevant. Speaking of which Gutter, do you ever get tired of saying irrelevant things here? I know I get tired of responding to them.
  8. You live in like Pasadena, probably Glendale given their recent reluctance to help federal agents enforce immigration law. Big riot area typically, Pasadena?

    I'm in.
  10. #3: Like #1, this is an opinion. You clearly can't identify facts. That being said, I worded that poorly. I meant to imply that people participate because they have nothing better to do (a continuation of the jobless college kid theme), not that the NGOs are trying to keep them busy. I'll split the point. Jerry 2.5, Gutter 0.5
  11. Again, RIF. I said anarchic, not anarchy. Here are some synonyms: https://www.merriam-webster.com/thesaurus/anarchic I bolded a few -- unruly, rebellious, riotous -- which certainly apply to groups which helped organize things, particularly in LA with their face masks: Still 2-0
  12. Different protest? My post was about all of the summer protests. Reading is fundamental: Still 2-0
  13. #2: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/No_Kings_protests#cite_note-m578-10 Some progressive groups in that list. This is an interesting link: https://datarepublican.com/nokings/ I can't speak to the accuracy, but click into a few of the companies in this link. Somebody spent a lot of time and effort on this. Skids 2, Gutter 0
  14. Of course there were other people at all these protests, pea brain. Don't forget Antifa! You don't get a win for your inability to identify a fact. Also: Skids 1, Pea Brain 0
  15. Let's start with #1. Don't be stupid, that's not a "fact". I was creating a fun persona of a protester. Of course they major in other things, like white oppression studies. Some are also retired people. Some are 50 year old center-right code monkeys. We good on that one?
  16. What facts am I asserting that you question?
  17. There are multiple reports of reports on X, but you are correct that it is not confirmed. Ive edited my post.
  18. Khomeini is dead. Maybe. Not confirmed.
  19. Megla was here long before you were.
  20. Ah, protest season... the weather is nice, and college kids are out of school. The ones who major in things like gender studies and French literature don't have internships, so they need something to do. Thankfully, a bunch of progressive, anarchic NGOs organize and fund protests against... whatever, doesn't matter, the omnicause$#@! to keep them busy and feeling like they are contributing to society. I expect a lot of such "organic" protests this summer. The gubment money spigot is turning off on these NGOs, and they need to create a feeling of chaos and despair to goad caring people like Gutter to donate to their worthwhile cause.

Look at it this way, you get to draft Spaun with the first pick at the Open!

Thanks! I was pulling for Scott (if not my guys) since I like him and nobody drafted him. Funny thing is, I had a bet on Henley to make top 10, he looked guaranteed to finish T-11, but Scott's collapse took him down to +5 and got me a T-10. I also had Hovland top 10, and those guys with Bobby Mac for top 20, so it was a good betting day. Spaun, what can I say. Dude shoots a 40 on the front, his scorecard looks like mine at the local muni, and he manages to pull it together while everyone around him is imploding. Draining that putt at the end was amazing. I was hella impressed.

Thanks! Quite a turnaround in one day. I really didn't expect that collapse on the back from Burns and Scott.
