    US Bombs Nigeria

I have indeed used AI before. It's a useful tool. It provides the links from which it sourced its answer. In this case the links included Al Jazeera, PBS, and CNN, all with some version of "it's nuanced!" If instead the links are from a variety of sources, or if the summary isn't particularly politically biased, it's easier to just use it. HTH with your whataboutism.

    US Bombs Nigeria

He said senseless killing. Perhaps you meant Hamas, which hides under schools, churches, and hospitals when they aren't raping and burning innocent women and children. But... IDF killed a journalist who might not have been working with Hamas. And blew up an ambulance. It's the same! Moral equivalency!

    US Bombs Nigeria

I learned from AI which learned from Al Jazeera that while Boko Haram often targets Christians for mass genocide, they also occasionally kill Muslims too, so it is complex and nuanced! and the affects both, so it is the same! also Trumpf!

Gutter only has one religion, and it's TDS.
  5. We mostly do my (Polish) family traditions. For Christmas Eve my grandma made a bunch of fish, although I don't recall it having the "seven fishes" name. Some whitefish, some disgusting things like pickled herring. After she passed the family kept the tradition, except somebody one year said "you know, lobster is fish!" We're actually having that tonight instead of yesterday (mentioned in another thread that we celebrated Christmas yesterday). We did our typical Christmas day late lunch yesterday for dinner: honey baked ham, fresh kielbasa, homemade pierogi with sauteed onions, homemade paska bread (or challa, it's an egg bread), green bean casserole. From my wife's family side we add "Grammy's mustard sauce" which has mustard, sugar, egg yolks... good stuff. My wife made farmer's cheese for the pierogi, and my daughters helped make them and cook them. I don't want to jinx them for the future, but they've nailed the technique: not a one came apart in boiling, and they tasted delicious!

    Brian Krassenstein flawlessly trolls MAGA

Man, this is hilarious! Happy belated Hannukah, Tim.
  7. We celebrated Christmas yesterday because my son is going to his GF's family today, and they live in the sticks (cactus?) north of Phoenix metro. Wife and two daughters are heading to the 10:30 Mass, then going bowling for lunch. Hopefully the rain will be done and we can break out my new cornhole set (my big Christmas gift). Merry Christmas, fellow l5s3rs!

    2028 Presidential election

Has nothing to do with God per se. "Religion" is more than just belief in God; it comprises an overall culture. As I've said numerous times, I know and like many individual Muslims. But I can also recognize that the many Islamic cultures which treat women like animals and stone LGBTQ folks to death are morally inferior to Western Judeo-Christian cultures. Other major religions like Hindu and Buddhism don't have this problem. Islam is the only one. It must be nice going through life with that dullard smile, believing in moral relativism. One religious culture protests women who kill their unborn children, another stones women for getting raped. It's the same! Anyway, Merry Christmas.

Merry Christmas to all! Also, welcome back @Strike!

    Jim Beam Bourbon Halts Production

I don't think you are wrong, and I'm not saying Jim Beam did anything wrong. Sometimes the environment changes. In this case, Canada chose to stall imports due to American tariffs, which impacted JB sales. My point is that instead of focusing on how higher inventory should lead to lower prices for Americans, Gutter chooses to focus on how a Japanese conglomerate will lose money. Because he has TDS.

    ***Geek Movie Character Draft***

Thanks! I'd like to thank my dad, who paid the cable guy under the table in the 80s to let us descramble HBO on the box and watch movies... Seriously, this was a lot of fun. Thanks @BiffTannen for all your work in running such a smooth draft.

She's not Muslim, she is Hindu. You should have just said she is not Christian, which is really what you meant.

Another shady sentence commutation for a rich guy

How could I forget? Those are the same! Sorry, still stupid. Even Moderate Tim is not supporting you. Although that being said: Thanks for the laugh.

Great point. I'm sure a financial tycoon like gutter realizes that higher inventory (supply) drives down prices, which helps with the new buzz word du jour from the Mamdani worshipers -- affordability! But gutter is too busy with his TDS DEFCON -1. He'd prefer a Japanese global conglomerate get higher profits than Americans improve affordability, if it makes the OMB look bad. He's not a true American.

You'd have an idea if you bothered to read what I posted. But thanks for the red herring about RFK Jr.

MAGA voted to pardon someone whose son did something? What does this have to do with the pardon? You've got TDS bad.

    JD Vance

Thanks for being honest. There was enough specific data in the part I posted to be of concern to anyone who bothers to read it. But you've got your boogeyman story.

    JD Vance

Umm, the few paragraphs I posted listed 9 companies. All told there are at least 20 companies listed, if you bothered to click the link. Also looking back, you've been calling Vance a "fake hillbilly" for at least a year. Which leftist media site fed you that pablum?

If you have Rob Reiner in your 2026 Death Pool….

My hayfever is acting up from this strawman. Also, inaccurate strawman. But hey, weepaws is on your side, so you've got that going for you. He hates fellow Christians like you hate fellow Jews.

    JD Vance

Oh well, I guess your anecdotal feelings supersede all of the links in that article to actual data. That adds credibility to your asinine assertion that he wasn't a hillbilly, and that a Yale law grad is an idiot.

You should read the recent Compact Mag article, "The Lost Generation," to learn some statistics about how many industries went ape-shiot DEI for hiring in the past 10 years or so. https://www.compactmag.com/article/the-lost-generation/ Too many stats to quote; here are a few examples from media:

If you have Rob Reiner in your 2026 Death Pool….

Yeah, still a phayle, sorry. Abstracting from the possibility that something happened to the person in your link to add trans to their litany of other diagnoses, the overall premise is just weak. You should have taken my advice, oh well.
  23. jerryskids

If you have Rob Reiner in your 2026 Death Pool….

Sorry, still don't get it. Are you saying that all motives need to be the same? Maybe you should just toss this gotcha into the phayle pile with all of your others, and save us all some time.

If you have Rob Reiner in your 2026 Death Pool….

I'm not following your attempted gotcha du jour, what is your point?

    2028 Presidential election

The biggest mistake the R's could make, and probably will, is to try to keep the Trump/MAGA coalition unchanged in 2028. Like him or not, there is only one Trump. Trump is MAGA, and MAGA is Trump. I'll add that I would be hard pressed to vote from a Rep from the Tucker Qatarlson / Groyper block.
