    Done broke my collarbone

    Welcome back buddy!
  2. Yeah, she plays 4D chess, that one.
  3. As a former trumpet player, I'm partial to the Maynard Ferguson jazz version: @Sandy Loam, are you a Maynard fan?

    NYC Mayor Race

This is Zoran's father, the professor at Columbia. Zoran grew up with this influence. On a wider scale, it is becoming clearer to me how we managed to fock up Gen Z, if this is the crap we're teaching our "best and brightest." In addition to the above bullet points, he is historically inaccurate (reservations pre-dated Lincoln's term), and he is so all over the map as to be almost incoherent.

Thanks. I was going to ask if you hurt it bending over to pick something up from the top of your fridge. Did you get the medicine issue worked out? Good luck and keep us apprised.

    Does religion deny science?

Thanks. I saw that she has written a book on it. I'm not terribly familiar with gnosticism; your thoughts?

Is criticizing the Israeli government antisemitic?

Dang, I've never seen that movie. That scene was great!
  8. Yeah, there is that problem too. As MDC pointed out, there is an entire generation there that has been brought up learning hatred and terror. They know no other way.
  9. It's unfortunate that the parents put them in this situation. I'm merely pointing out who is responsible. How would you fix it? I would ask you to avoid some version of "I dunno, but not THIS$#@!" but that never happens.
  10. And why do they live in "apartheid"? If you don't know the answer, keep reading. 20 years ago the Palestinians, probably the parents of the current generation, had the chance to elect a democratic government and live in peace with Israel. Instead, they elected Hamas, a terrorist organization whose charter is to destroy Israel and kill all the Jews in the world (including you, Timmy). Those parents chose to raise their children in an environment of hate and terror. The situation there is 100% on Hamas and the people who elected them. HTH

    Why do you vote Liberal/Progressive?

Republicans are the party of married people, more so married people with kids. Also, straight and widowed men. Basically, responsible adults who have made good life choices. Democrats are the party of people who are: never married, divorced, or living with a partner. Also, gay men, and straight and gay women. Basically, unhappy people with no appreciable life wisdom. Data is below. The editorials at the end were mine. There is a graph at the link which shows this as well. https://www.pewresearch.org/politics/2024/04/09/partisanship-by-gender-sexual-orientation-marital-and-parental-status/

    ***EdEx 2025 The Open Championship***

    You drive a hard bargain!
  13. It's not semantics; you don't know what a "warning shot" is. If they were firing at people, they were not warning shots. You went from 200 to 3 on the journalists, then focused on one who, according to Grok, might not have been involved with Hamas. One. I explained the video difference -- kinda hard to get your phone out and capture an explosion as it happens. Not so hard to capture an ongoing shooting spree, which according to SuppressedNews happens on a daily basis. Here's the deal, Tim. You are working from a model that Israel is committing war crimes on a significant level, and nothing anyone says is going to change your mind. Your sources have turned out to be utter crap which don't even show the crimes you allege. In your days of searching (I'm guessing 40 hours actual time by now) the best you can do is one audio clip of an American (not Israeli) saying something like "I think you got one." One. Megla is right, you are the king of internet victories, because you never admit your errors and you never give up. I'm moving on with my day. Enjoy your win, whatever it is you pull out of this morass.
  14. Tim is doing exactly what @TBayXXXVIIaccused him of in the trans softball thread. We were talking about warning shots, Tim lost yet another discussion, so now he's trying to move the goalposts to journalists and doctors. I'd ask him if this means he concedes he has nothing on the murderous shooting sprees at the aid stations, but he wouldn't respond. 200 journalists! Or, maybe 3? And maybe 1 of them wasn't working directly with Hamas.
  15. I think she's married to a Wu. Here is a longer excerpt from that clip: Here is a link to the full interview: https://www.thefp.com/p/brianna-wu-bari-weiss-gamergate-progressive-antisemitism-honestly?r=vlmot&utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=web&showWelcomeOnShare=false

  18. Well, she's old school trans, from before the social contagion. Also, it's pretty clear from her tweet, and other things I've heard her say, that she is very concerned that people like her -- people with gender dysphoria who have medically transitioned -- are at risk of losing access to the medicines they require because of the things mentioned in the tweet: social contagion, transing the kids, men in women's sports and safe spaces.
  19. I'm agreeing with you. I'm saying that "towards" means a warning shot above their heads, not at them.
  20. "Towqrds" the crowd is what Strike said. "At" the crowd means at the crowd. HTH
  21. I'm talking about the increase, not trans in general. I have posted multiple times that I believe there are a small subset of trans people who have gender dysphoria. To that end, it disappoints me that a lot of folks (including this site) don't agree, and just jump on the "boys can't be girls" wagon. I think Brianna presents an excellent path to getting to an accurate and reasonable place. Which is basically where we were 10-15 years ago, when sanity ruled the day. But @The Real timschochetchooses to believe political groups instead of reality, and @squistion seems to believe whatever Kyle Griffin says, but he knows best.
  22. That's a great topic for the softball thread. Not for what I posted in the OP. TIA.

    Does religion deny science?

I'm thinking of reading the following book I learned about on The Free Press: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0D9688QGF/?bestFormat=true&k=miracles and wonder elaine pagels&ref_=nb_sb_ss_w_scx-ent-pd-bk-d_de_k0_1_13&crid=IIYMC7JWKY7V&sprefix=miracles and Not necessarily about science, but it seems like an interesting philosophical exploration.
  24. Thanks for transitioning this to your obsessive stalking of Riley Gaines. Any chance you can move this to the softball thread?
