I'm guessing some fine Peruvian powder.

In addition to Team Tails, my biggest bet was Iggles money line. I also hit Barkley to outrush the Chiefs. Several other bets involved Barkley doing better than he did. I wish the Chiefs didn't focus on shutting him down, while letting everyone else run free.

🚨USAID & CIA behind 2019 Trump Impeachment🚨
jerryskids replied to HellToupee's topic in The Geek Club
I was not aware of it, and it seems like an odd take. Like I said earlier, defunding, firing, and dismantling entire agencies in the Executive Branch seems inconsistent with increasing power in that branch. Also, were you the one who mentioned Peter Thiel on this subject? If so, if you have any links on that, I'd appreciate it. I generally like Thiel. -
I made 8-10 bets and ended up within a dollar of breaking even. Thank goodness I went Team Tails on the coin flip$#@!

🚨USAID & CIA behind 2019 Trump Impeachment🚨

Your "chisel" is what I described of committees forming subcommittees. That would only waste more money while everyone defends (and gets to keep) every boondoggle which somehow helps them within USAID. My end game is not that democracy ends, but rather we peel back all of these bloated bureaucracies. Do you think that actions like reducing investment, cutting workforce, and eliminating entire groups like the Department of Education are consistent with an attempt to increase power within the Executive Branch? That seems... counterintuitive. -
🚨USAID & CIA behind 2019 Trump Impeachment🚨

I have a vision of a different end game here. Congress has spent the past, I dunno, 100 years abdicating its authority and instead creating gigantic bureaucracies under the Executive Branch which have essentially no oversight, which are filled with career bureaucrats who manage to buy 3 vacation homes on a civil servant salary. It's kinda funny that people are apoplectic about "the end of democracy$#@!" and yet Musk is in there trying to undo what never should have been done, which ultimately gets us back to our intended form of government. Ben Shapiro said recently of this, "you broke it, you bought it." It's a pretty good short description. This has been a bipartisan issue. We're hearing from the Left currently because anything this administration does is demon driven to them, but it's more of a bipartisan deep state issue in the end. In the end I hope we fund the AIDS help in Ghana you are so worried about, end LGBTQ opera funding, get Treasury to actually fill in the cell in the database which says where the payment is going, etc. You could argue that we should have a committee to form a committee to establish sub-committees to analyze waste in orgs like USAID, but we know how that turns out. I'm intrigued to see how the Musk shock and awe approach pans out. I don't think democracy will end in the process. -
I hated the show and didn't know any songs, but my 20 something yr old kids enjoyed it.

Interesting point. I agree that it changes drafting strategies. But, I've been a drafting Rain Man the past two tourneys, so I say we stick with it Also I went to the WMPO on Friday. Weather was perfect -- high 70s with some hazy clouds that took the edge off the sun. Way different than last year when I wore a winter rain jacket. What a great tourney to attend.

Brees won a SB. Ward is the WR coach at Arizona State. He's a big part of their success.

So, you are an Iggles fan? If this were a regular season game, I'd expect a huge ovation. But this is a largely corporate affair, with only a smattering of real fans. So I expect a mostly respectful, golf clap type of reception.

Alright, let's get to something I love -- Whiskey. I present to you, Uncle Nearest: He taught Jack Daniel how to make what is now called Tennessee whiskey, which implements an additional charcoal filtering process. I've had several of the whiskeys branded under his name, and they are excellent. My life is better because of Uncle Nearest.

I'm an electrical engineer, and just wanted to point out that he did not invent the first electrical resistor. As you later point out, he invented specific types of resistors. Still impressive accomplishments though.

Why Trump’s Rapid Fire News Releases are Breaking the Democrats Narrative System
jerryskids replied to avoiding injuries's topic in The Geek Club
Yep, I've talked about it for a while, including both of those topics. Just this week it was "unelected illegal unconstitutional young engineers!" with USAID. That was a particular shotgun blast in hope something sticks, which perhaps shows how the system is breaking down. Funny thing is watching the pseud Lefties here parrot this stuff and still think they are the smart ones who aren't in a cult. -
Chelsea Clinton got $84 Million from USAID?!?!

You with your ChatGPT are one stubborn fella! You just won't take the L. And once again, this was not my question, or what the administration has done. How are you doing, buddy? -

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_States_Agency_for_International_Development Also I said nothing about dispatching it by EO; that's your boogeyman. Otherwise, you type a lot of words without answering my questions. -

Also, this organization received $45M in 2023. Is she going to return the money she hasn't spent yet? Since she can't possibly move forward now, that would be the ethical thing to do, right? -

Dang boyo, human garbage? How dehumanizing. I usually just call you a finance exec who sucks at math and, now I learn, doesn't understand large, multi-user computer systems. Care to chime in on my question about illegal/unconstitutional? You've thrown constitutionality around a lot recently, since I put to bed your "unelected" lemming comment from your MSM cult leaders. -

I'm trying to explain how Vittoria took "many" privileges and used it to create a laundry list of hypothetical "typical" privileges. Cultist. -

Ah yes, malicious compliance. Similar to the "since we ended DEI, we can't teach about the Tuskegee Airmen! " It's unethical to start a study you can't guarantee you can continue? Why? Is it more ethical to stop now, immediately halt the testing and collection of data, for... what now? -

I'm going to try to help you parse this, since you keep posting it as the ultimate authority, but it won't help. First, it's a little odd that Wired has not one not two but three sources that nobody else has. It's like the 3 Wired tech bros connected with the Musk tech bros, on Discord or maybe a lightly trafficked FF website, and the Musk tech bros were like "bro, check it out, we've got many admin privileges!" Second, presuming the sources indeed know something, check out that last paragragh. "many" admin privileges, what is that exactly? "Typically"? Is typically what "many" means? As I pointed out earlier, there are a vast array of admin privileges. But our 3 Wired tech bros have speculated on what "many" is. Third, the lead author of this piece, Vittoria, has another article I might like entitled "The Young, Inexperienced Engineers Aiding Elon Musk's Government Takeover." Government takeover? Ima guess Vittoria doesn't like Musk. Or seemingly, young men. -

Well, I tried to have a civil discussion, and outlined my objections, but you chose this way. So since this addressed roughly 0.0% of my questions, I'm going to presume either English isn't your first language, or you are special. If the latter, how are you buddy? Sorry for offending you. Here, I'll help you. Agencies may make financial promises called obligations. Those are not Congressional obligations of payments or a payment schedule. Put another way: is it illegal to not pay the Clinton foundation boondoggle $84M in 36 equal monthly payments? Read my post slower, maybe pretend it is in crayon, and get back to me. -

I would be surprised, because in that case the richest man in the world would be performing a clearly illegal and traceable act which would lead to him facing prison and his empire crumbling. for some indeterminate sales to analytics firms. -
Chelsea Clinton got $84 Million from USAID?!?!
jerryskids replied to avoiding injuries's topic in The Geek Club
Can you walk me through the illegal/unconstitutional part? USAID is in the Executive Branch. The head of that branch has put a pause on some outlays pending an audit by people he assigned to do just so. Did Congress specifically outline the payments to each beneficiary of USAID? If so, did they outline the payment schedule for each beneficiary? If "yes" to both, then I agree that Trump should not be able to put a pause on payments that were legislatively outlined. -

These guys don't understand how large computer systems work. Multi-user operating systems like Unix or Linux have a variety of access privileges (read/write/execute) at different levels of hierarchy. To be able to do anything with the computers, Musk's teams would have needed to have been provided some level of admin privileges. We don't know what level of admin privileges DOGE had, but the Leftist cult is being given the marching orders that Musk and young engineers$#@! have downloaded all of our personal information, presumably to use as part of Musk's plan to take over the government. But Righties are the ones chasing boogeymen with USAID.
