My intro to Rush was Moving Pictures, specifically Tom Sawyer. I was about 14 at the time. It was one of a handful of times in my musical life where I was like "whoa, what in the f*ck was that awesomeness$#@!?" Mostly it was Neil Peart's drumming, I had never heard anything like that. So while I can't say it was their best song, it probably has the most personal meaning to me. I did go back to really get into Permanent Waves; I played the crap out of that and Moving Pictures. I also got into 2112, not sure why, as I wasn't an Ayn Rand conservative at the time (at least to my knowledge). I knew the more famous older songs like Closer to the Heart, Xanadu, the Trees, to a lesser extent La Villa Strangiata. But for whatever reason, I never explored those entire albums in much detail. I'm guessing whatever friend groups I was in, didn't do so. RIP Neil, the GOAT of rock drumming.
