I agree with Scottie, Rory, and Brooks. I'll add DJ as my 4th, he was pretty dominant over a lot of that window. Plus he gets to snort coke off of Paulina Gretzky's ass.

I've also got something I'll send to @WhiteWonderif he stays. Actually, I got it for him earlier this year but haven't sent it out. Also, this may be the gayest-sounding post I've ever typed here.

Trump Corruption Thread - Qatar ‘gifts’ Trump a luxury jet
jerryskids replied to squistion's topic in The Geek Club
Well, it was something of a rhetorical question, since the answer is obviously no. Bummer about Shiv. Part of me wishes you lied and led me to believe I might see those fun bags. Also, I wonder if the cancel culture on the Left will decide that Musk and Tesla are cool again? -

Trump Corruption Thread - Qatar ‘gifts’ Trump a luxury jet

Wife and I are watching Succession these days; I'd say it's good, not great. We're in season 2, I'm hoping to see Shiv's bewbs one day. Anyway, I know Logan Roy is a Rupert Murdoch inspiration (and the president on the show, the "raisin," is Trump), but I see some similarities between Logan and Trump as well. He's mostly coherent with bouts of incoherence. Grift is a part of daily business. But mostly, people on his staff are nominally running major portions of the business, but they wilt like dead flowers in the presence of Logan's gravitas. I feel that way with Trump -- is there truly nobody in his inner circle who can pimp slap him? Heck, I think that's the second time in a week I've asked that question. -
Trump Corruption Thread - Qatar ‘gifts’ Trump a luxury jet

Got it. I misunderstood your point. When you said, "it’s all grift, all the time with Prez Bozo?", I interpreted "all the time" as "all the time Elon spent with DOGE." I now believe you meant "Trump is a grifter all the time." Carry on. -
Eh... it's a spectrum I think. There are plenty of women in our circle of friends/acquaintances who, if neither of us were married, I'd be humping their legs like a dog in heat. Most of the women we see regularly are friends from our gym, so they are fit and generally younger than me. The one I mentioned, as I said she's passable, but combined with some personality things and her situation, I don't think I'd do it. I certainly don't think about it. Heck, I've been married for 30+ years. If I woke up single tomorrow, I'd have no idea how to approach a woman. Is there an app for that? I'd probably just give all my money to some ho on Chaturbate or something.

That speaks zero to Elon's motivation, which I believe was your point. -
My go to everyday.. umm... regular bourbons are one of the following two: 1. Elijah Craig Small Batch, 94 proof, $39.99 for 1.75L at Total Wine: https://www.totalwine.com/spirits/bourbon/small-batch-bourbon/elijah-craig-bourbon/p/1715175? 2. Knob Creek Small Batch, 9 year, 100 proof, $42.99 for 1.75L at Total Wine https://www.totalwine.com/spirits/bourbon/small-batch-bourbon/knob-creek-kentucky-straight-bourbon-whiskey/p/2819175?s=1004&igrules=true One or both are also sometimes available at Costco I think, which is probably where I first discovered them. Price is comparable IIRC tho.

I don't understand this logic. Trump wants to cancel contracts, so that means Elon only did it for the contracts? -
You don't understand the health benefits of bourbon!

This is pretty much me. Although, I do have one female friend through a volunteer activity we co-manage. My wife hasn't met her, but not because I've avoided it, it just hasn't worked out. She's a few years younger than me (I'm 58 this July) and her husband passed away about a year ago. She's passable looking, which is to say I'd hit it if I were single. But she has some personality quirks which would prohibit an ongoing relationship IMO. So since she is a friend, I wouldn't hit it and cause that grief to our friendship.

I don't understand what you mean. AI Overview No, bourbon does not directly produce sugar in the body. While bourbon is made from fermented grains, the resulting alcohol does not convert into sugar. The main concern with bourbon and blood sugar is that alcohol can affect glucose regulation, potentially causing low blood sugar, especially when consumed without food. Here's a more detailed explanation: Bourbon and Sugar: .Opens in new tab Pure bourbon, without added flavors or sweeteners, contains virtually no sugar. The sweetness you perceive in bourbon is due to the natural flavors derived from the mash bill and the aging process in oak barrels.

I've told my wife that for every woman I meet, within seconds I decide if I would hypothetically bang her. She doesn't mind that I think this, because she understands men, but it does kinda bug her to think that other guys think this when they meet her.

Long read from the Free Press but worth it if you have the time: https://www.thefp.com/p/how-qatar-bought-america?utm_source=substack&utm_medium=email While not unique to Trump as it's been happening for decades, this cozying up with Qatar is getting out of hand. Pam Bondi, our AG, used to lobby for them. And she is supposed to decide if accepting the airplane is OK. Seems like a lack of checks and balances. Kash Patel used to work with/for Qatar. Qatar bailed out Steve Witkoff, our Middle East negotiator, with $600M+ to save him from a crap real estate investment. Jared Kushner got like a $B into his investment fund. Trump golf courses in Doha? Long before Trump, we let Qatar completely fund and build our primary military base in the ME. They've invested billions into our colleges to teach hatred for the West and Jews. They've bought influence in states like SC through purchases of a bunch of Boeing jets manufactured there. This is a country with a ruling family that openly supports and funds a who's who of terrorist scum in the ME: Hamas, Hezbollah, Iran, Muslim Brotherhood. Perhaps this gift of the jet will be the impetus for a movement towards this finally getting under control.

Fire Attack on Isreali sympathizers in Boulder Colo.

I gotta say that I like this idea of doing what I'll call a "Kaiser Soze deportation." If an illegal alien commits a crime, particularly a violent and/or felony, you deport his wife, kids, aunts, uncles, grandparents, friends, barber... that'll put an end to this behavior right quick. Well, maybe not for a radical nutjob from the Religion of Peace like Soliman, but for "regular" criminal illegal aliens. -

No, remarkably, it was unanimous. Maybe Roberts convinced them to take the right side for once? -

Might be victims of Mohamed's actions? Sure, I can't say at this point if they knew anything about it, although if he was planning it for over a year, that's a bit of a stretch. Victims of the US government? Absolutely not. -

Yes, USA Today is quite Leftist. The editors let this slip through the cracks tho: The Left often refuses to expect personal responsibility from people on the marginalized intersectional scale, but adults can recognize that what happens to Soliman's family is the responsibility of one man, and it is the man who said he loves jihad more than his wife and kids. -
Parents call out unfairness as trans pitcher throws shutout in Minnesota softball state quarterfinals
jerryskids replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
It struck me as odd that a guy could be so successful pitching underhand, since boys don't grow up pitching that way. But we are early, I'm confident that more will accomplish this sad success as we accept it as a society. Sports like track and field, swimming... if there is no difference in the techniques, then the men will eventually prevail. -
Some tie to supporting Qatar seems like a slam dunk.

The important thing is that Marissa was happy, not that their happiness destroyed fair competition for the other team. Also, it only happens 0.00000001% of the time so we shouldn't care. Except during championship weeks, where it seems to happen quite often.
