Maga Media Takeover, Oligarchy now
jerryskids replied to The Psychic Observer's topic in The Geek Club
Good post Community notes are a much better way to drive correct information than the previous model, which was the Feds browbeating sites like Twitter to moderate as they want them to. I'm surprised I need to say this to you. Also, Gutter's OP asserted that Musk turned X into a MAGA echo chamber. Rather, by opening discourse and providing community notes, Lefties like Gutter were butt hurt that they lost their Leftie echo chamber, and many took their ball and went home. -
Skip Bayless accused of offering Fox Sports employee $1.5M for sex in bombshell lawsuit
jerryskids replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
I love that joke! Also, Skip has made enough to pay $1.5M for some trim? Guess I need a job spouting sports nonsense; heck, I do it here for free! -

Sunday night while snapping at reporters , those silly Catholics.
jerryskids replied to weepaws's topic in The Geek Club
My wife yesterday said that her boss told her she was raised Catholic, but in college tried some other churches including a non-denominational one. She was turned off by it because of their disdain for Catholicism and, frankly, and other organized religion. Not all such churches are cults, but a lot of them are, including @weepaws Small churches need to make money, and they don't have the long history and support of a large, established worldwide organization. So they teach their sheep that theirs is the only path to salvation, and that all other forms of Christianity are bad. Can't have the sheep taking their money elsewhere, can they? Weepaws thinks Jesus would approve of his behavior toward other expressions of Christianity. He doesn't truly understand. He can quote the Bible though, so he's got that going for him. -
Fascinating compare/contrast between costs in Canada vs. here. And Canada is what many aspire to be, politically. We'll just tax the rich to pay for everything, that always works! Love that Polievre guy, I hope for Canada's sake that they vote in his party so that they can name him the PM. At least that's how I think it works i parliamentary systems.

I'd rather laser focus on you thinking police officers were killed that day. Where do you get your news from?

Which police officers were killed? Rusty is Captain Informed today.

I Have Three South American Maids In My House Right Now
jerryskids replied to BunnysBastatrds's topic in The Geek Club
Just tell them that you told your friends about how beautiful your cleaners are, and ask if you can take a few pics. They'll probably eat it up. Once they agree to that, you can start directing poses... -
Troof. This time will be different though... ...is said every time it is tried.

Those were my two, and I went with China because it is a more tangible threat. Whoever voted for global warming should have voted for China instead. I heard recently that China creates more air pollution than the US, India, and Russia combined. They are building a new coal plant every day or something crazy like that. The climate alarmists' unwillingness to address China is yet another signal that they don't truly care, much like their unwillingness to invest in nuclear energy. It's a cult built for thought control, not an existential threat. Tim still thinks Biden has super sharp faculties. I rarely spent time at FBG, but the one thing I remember about Tim there was his steadfast belief in the MSM, despite the overwhelming and obvious evidence to the contrary. You are pissing into the wind trying to convince him otherwise.

Thanks for the link, I'll watch it. Retard.

The Devil Is Waiting For Me On The Back Porch
jerryskids replied to BunnysBastatrds's topic in The Geek Club
Don't give up. Never give up. There is a difference between giving up and accepting death. You've got a step grandchild coming who needs to learn all of your wisdom. -
Hope it's a pattern.

Well fock me. I was down two with two holes to play and almost pulled it out. And fock Morikawa for losing to Fatsuyama, lost my bet as well. Congrats Lager. @edjr, please put my money towards future tourneys.

Boycott Costco! Standing firm on supporting DEI
jerryskids replied to TimHauck's topic in The Geek Club
I'm a MagaT as defined by the Lefties here, and I love Costco. I don't particularly care what companies do internally, as long as it doesn't impact their product or service. If an airline has a policy of doing DEI pilot hires, I'm concerned. If Costco does DEI hires, I'll be concerned when it impacts my experience. -

Our support with State Farm has been top notch. 35 years ago I moved to Phoenix, and a college friend's father who lived here hooked me up with an AllState agent. A month later my brand new Mustang was totaled, and my agent totally took care of it, including no increase in premiums (it wasn't my fault, but...). Fast forward a few years, and I married my wife who had State Farm. She had a $1M rider, either for her pool and/or her teaching aerobics, I don't remember. I talked to my AllState guy about matching it, but for whatever reason the State Farm cost was crazy low. He basically suggested we go with State Farm. Which we did. 31+ later we are with the same agent and State Farm, and super happy. We've had all kinds of insurance, from rental property to jewelry to our kids apartments and their cars, and they've always been super good with claims, reminders of renewals, suggestions for lower costs, how to get car insurance in Mexico. I'm sure we could pay less with Joe's Garage Shop Insurance, but I've made enough money in my life that I'll pay a premium for the convenience and comfort of good service. -
I just added that edjr is saying hold my beer.

Fock, I think I'm tied with Lager. Leaders thru 11 ETA: edjr in the mix too

But this is what you do. I've said before and I'll say it again -- when you assert an extreme, I know you are making stuff up. For instance, what data supports the above assertion? Now this is interesting. As is this: If states are truly following the REAL ID act and generating special IDs which follow the bolded, and if they follow the lead of Delaware and Maryland, then I am more in support of them receiving licenses.

Just saw this, hope it all works out. And congrats on the coming step grandkid! -
Wow, what a blanket statement. Not a single one of the 10s of millions of illegal aliens cares about voting? Phew, that's a relief!

The success of California has roughly 0.0% to do with its Leftist policies or majority of people. It has to do with the incredibly huge amount of natural resources, enormous coastline with numerous ports, and incredible weather. Your state's ability to accrue massive debt while having nearly unlimited resources is quite impressive. I thought you lived in Chicago? Might it help them to vote illegally?

Hey @WhiteWonder, since you are in charge now, can we move this to 1/2 PPR? Standard scoring is so... oughts.

Thanks for the jinx.
