No, you do them. You won't though, because there is nothing like it. Also, while lots of Christians don't support gay weddings, they are allowed to happen in our culture, people can be openly gay, and we certainly don't stone them.

Some jackasses? It's the culture, man. Poll in September shows for the first time that a majority of Gazans don't support the 10/7 attack. 39% still do though. 64% of Palestinians in the West Bank still do. They also still support Hamas more than any other leadership. Is that "some jackasses"? They're the same! Without Christianity, you would be a barefoot serf pushing a plow through animal dung in Europe somewhere.

It's like you are a yip yip dog, following me around each day looking to get swatted in the nose with a rolled-up magazine.

Ah, the good old false equivalency. Each has some good, some bad... they're the same! There are a few Christian extremists and... a billion people in giant swaths of the planet in Islamic shiothole states which foment terror, misogyny, and intolerance of anyone not like them. Can't tell them apart! The world would be a far better place without Islam. The world would be worse off without Judeo-Christian, Buddhist, Hindu values. There are others. One of these things is not like the others.

Good point!

I almost posted the same. I was like, wtf, only 8? Then started trying to figure out who left. Finally figured out that Lager was the ninth. I'll probably lose to Cloaca this year because he seems like something of a Rain Man on this stuff, but for today, I feel smarter!

I'm not talking about weepaws preaching to you that his bizarro Christian sect is the only path to salvation. I'm talking about a culture around the basic tenets of the religion. For Judeo-Christians, it's stuff like honor your parents, do unto others, be fruitful and multiply. These basic principles were part of the culture you were raised in, regardless of how "religious" your family was. It was stitched into our society. Now, notsomuch.

I pride myself on my ability to empathize; it served me well in my sales career. But I just can't wrap my head around why the Left wants to destroy our culture. Perhaps someone on the Left can explain to me how it helps us to encourage yet another fetish which doesn't lead to marriage or children, and instead encourage the immigration from other, failed cultures, to backfill our population?
-
Sounds like another branch in the secular Left's new religion, since they don't think they need a God-based religious community any more.

Valuable to society and humankind in general. Islam isn't. The others are.

Interesting is not the same as valuable.

Well, I had to run out for a bit, so I thought I'd start with some snark. Here is my serious comment: I could not disagree more with your comment "just do not indoctrinate the kids." Religion is as much a culture as it is about God. It is a common heritage which unites a community. That community meets, bonds, helps each other, etc. It is much what people (including several here) hate about the Jews -- they help each other out. The secular Left would prefer that all such aid come from the government. That same secular Left needs its own religions, in the absence of God. All people need something to believe in. They believe instead in causes like Hamas terrorism, transing the kids, abortions until birth, intersectionality, equity vs. equality, and most notably, TDS. I'd rather children to be brought up in the tenets of Christianity than the above secular ones. I also very much disagree with your assertion that "Christianity is just another religion." To put it (or any other major world religion) on par with Islam is, well, foolish.

Celebrating too soon? Jonathon Taylor the latest
jerryskids replied to jbycho's topic in The Geek Club
Awesome! When I joined my keeper league, the buddy who asked me in gave me a cheat sheet to help me with the draft, which was in two days. The deep keeper team I inherited sucked except for Dorsey Levens, who was ranked #4 on the sheet. That same buddy had the #3 RB, and I figured 3 is better than 4, right? So at the draft I asked if he wanted to trade up, and he did -- he was a big Levens fan. The guy I got was just traded from the Colts to the Rams. Name was Marshall Faulk. He still talks about it. Oh, and that cheat sheet was from a place called FFToday. It is how I heard about this cesspool. -

Also, Larry Fitz famously never showboated. He just flipped the ball to the official every time. -

Some defender did it yesterday as well, after picking up a fumble. I forget what game, I saw it on Red Zone. -

No kidding, he says it more than Rusty says Clownzo. -
I don't mind the pope reaching out to Muslims -- spreading the word of Jesus to that community is a good thing. What I don't like is his consistent antisemitism and support of Hamas. I'm guessing God would like a do-over on him being selected Pope.

Maybe google "Why is HFCS bad" like I said. Also I gave a link upthread, which you won't read, because you are a troll and not a serious poster. -
Discussion of Concerns for Trump Presidency

Also, my daughter has Type 1 diabetes. While different than Type 2 and HFCS isn't going to influence her type of diabetes, the processing of sugar is very important to her, so I've researched this in the past.
