United Healthcare CEO shot, killed in midtown NYC

Almost definitely Sarno. Most long-term back pain is. Also, looking at that picture that gave Worms a woody, there is no way he would have a body like that without working out. How debilitating was it? -

Did you have sex with her twice? -
Also, just posted in the gifts thread that I got this putter: Holy crap it felt amazing. I think Harmon and Clark both used it, or similar, to win their recent majors. I'm super excited to try it on the course.

Ended up getting the Spider S counterbalance 38" shaft: https://www.taylormadegolf.com/Spider-Tour-S-Counter-Balance/N7537348.html?lang=en_US Went to a nearby Golf Galaxy to try putters out, and I was ready to buy one because I had just signed up for 15% off in store or online. In the end I was between the above and a standard 35" Spider red (the newer Spiders weren't particularly different and the red was $100 less). The red was very good, but this counterbalance... it is a few inches longer so you choke down, and there is a weight at the top of the shaft which creates this incredibly smooth pendulum swing. I took both up to the counter to see if the coupon would work... umm, no, it was worthless. Sorry Golf Galaxy, buh bye. Shame, because I want golf super stores to continue to exist, and I prefer to give them my business if price is comparable (also for golf shoes in general, which I would never buy without trying on). But, not this time. I had seen one on eBay for $290, new, no shipping fee. Talked to my wife because I could have gotten the red for around $200, and she said "shut up dummy, you haven't bought a putter in over 20 years, get the one you really want. Might not get here until just after Christmas, but that's OK. -

I was going to propose Yusuf Dikec, the Turkish pistol shooter. Otherwise I think she's a good pick. -

I generally agree with you on the government. I'd rather not legislate absolutes like we've been discussing. But we've created a culture that celebrates transitioning, and we have 150+ for profit gender clinics in the past 15 years. And most girls who object to things like boys in their sport probably say nothing, for fear of becoming pariahs with their classmates and on social media. Until we change that culture, it is the role of government to create legislation to protect people. For teachers, I don't think they should teach anything one way or the other, but they should let parents know if something is going on with their kids. -

We can start by teaching kids that the answer to their problems is probably not to change genders. -

In. I just filled out a placeholder. I presume we need to do the entire thing before the first game? -

It is that same logic that should protect the few actual females affected by it. The rape victim in the locker room with the naked dude in the shower. The athlete who loses her spot, or her teeth, because of a male competitor. And there are a helluva lot more than 0.1% of kids getting the message that they are the other gender. -
Great post. I'll add: Soros-backed activist DAs who don't prosecute illegal aliens for fear they might be deported.

Nice numbers. Explains why Bud Light saw virtually no fallout from the trans cans. You are right, almost nobody cares. Keep it up, Lefties, you're on the right path! -

to settle monopoly case. Google tells DOJ "pfft... we'll counter propose something" https://www.bbc.com/news/articles/cp81ppr3l9go Personally, I use Chrome and enjoy the synergy it has with contacts, calendar, etc. I'd need to see what this separation looks like before I can conclude it's a good idea.

I hope the power brokers on the Left agree with this. I will enjoy the decades-long dynasty of Republican domination, while your side blames voters for being stupid. -

I agree with most of this. I'll add that since the Iraq War, our military has trained much more in maintaining urban peace. They might be better equipped and qualified for large-scale riots like we saw during the summer of love. -

For those who say they buy what they need during the year, my cousin once said that Christmas is for gifts people want, not need. To that end, I'm going out shopping for a new putter today, a mallet, probably a TaylorMade Spider. I don't NEED it, but I want it. I would never let my wife pick it of course, but I'll splurge on something I otherwise wouldn't during the year. She usually prefers to surprise me -- in fact my running joke with her is that if I want something, I don't tell her, because if I do, she won't get it -- but she has been super busy with work this year. She did tell me she got me another surprise thing, tho. Since I'm retired, I've been handling most of the gifts for the kids. That's the part I like, seeing their happiness when they open stuff.
