Interesting. The Condon link seems to explain the move. Perhaps Steinberg should call up Leinhart and scream "SHOW ME THE MMMOOOONNNEEEEYYYYYY!!!!!!!"

Korben, I like you, so I'm going to give you my two cents even though ideologically I typically differ from you. While what you say may be well-worded and, in the extreme, true, nobody on the "other" side from you is going to listen because it is too extreme. There is a protectionist tribal effect (on both sides), and your comments come off as "Bush hating". So people will tune you out. In the example of the topic of this thread, that link is filled with crap and virtually no details, just a lot of innuendos and implications of statements from people in allegedly high positions with virtually nothing to substantiate it. Not saying the info isn't true, it might be, I'm just saying that this isn't a particularly fertile battleground IMO. -
I think the ones here only do tires too. Any you are not only a racist, but you are a fattist and a fartist. You should feel deeply ashamed.

Yeah, my car has all kinda recommended regular services that are $250, $500, etc. Fock that. Although, I suck at getting my tires rotated, and just had to get 4 new ones well before I should have (Discount Tire, sorry ). I plan to be better in the future. Also, you had the email rap going, hope you talked about more than oil changes.

I presume then that you suggested that Curly have the $1000000000000000 tuneup and that she drive to Folsom to get it. Good for you.

BTW, you said yesterday that you were a mechanic, not a salesperson. Why do you get a commission?

Thanks, great info. I didn't know those drivers had a hooking reputation, that explains a lot. It seems very finicky, where small changes in my swing cause dramatic hooks. And I don't play enough to avoid those changes. I mentioned earlier that I got the hybrid as part of a deal for my kids' school auction. With the way this Dual flies, I'm going to see if anyone got an R7 that I can bid on. If not, I'll try one of the above shafts. Thanks again.

My kids' school has an auction coming up, and they have a deal with Taylor Made where we can get clubs at wholesale, plus they'll donate the same club for the auction. I've always thought about a rescue club to replace my two iron, so I went with the #3, 19 degree loft, configurable weights. Moved the weights to straight vs draw because I tend to draw naturally. Went to the range Sunday to try it. Sweet mother of all that is holy, this club rocks! I tend to hit the ball relatively low; every shot was high and flying 220+, well over the 200 green into the base of the net. Carry was farther than my 3 wood or driver, although both were lower and total travel would be a little farther. In two weeks I'm playing in a tourney at a target-style golf course, I may hit this thing every hole. In the past I've joked with cruzer and others that real men don't use these kinds of clubs. Consider me converted. I highly recommend this club.

Maybe you guys can help me. I've got a Big Bertha VFT with a stock Callaway System 60 graphite Firm flex. I swing about 95-100 on the driver, tend to have a low sweeping swing (too much front to back movement, my bane) which causes a generally low flight. I've suspected this shaft is too flexible for me, and I tend to have hook problems that I attribute (maybe) to too much rotation of the club head at impact. The new hybrid I got has a much stiffer shaft and went much straighter, and plenty far. Suggestions?

I like this quote: Umm, this just in, they prolly know what 9 folks they sent over. This statement makes no sense. -
What type of music do you old focks like to dance to?
jerryskids replied to RicemanX's topic in The Geek Club
Agree with 1 and 2. Wild Thing was out in 89, should be a hit. Also "Gonna Make You Sweat" by C&C Music Factory (proud to say I had to google it.) Also Prince and Madonna (earlier stuff). Also Shout, since it is a fraternity thing. -
Do you think they will reinstate the draft if we go to war aginst Iran?
jerryskids replied to Electric Mayhem's topic in The Geek Club
Perhaps, but look at the bright side. You can meet a hot military chick, fall in love, and fock it up. -
I often wonder, how does my company's boob-filter know there are boobs in a picture? Then I just shut down my vpn and look.

I got 9 to 2 on Phoenix when I was in Vegas last week. Also a 6 to 5 bet on Detroit for my inlaws as a gift for watching our rugrats.
