  1. Thanks for admitting you are a troll, troll. Goodnight!
  2. Is this part of your "I'm really a conservative but I just hate Trump" shtick?" If so, it's not working. Calling Rittenhouse a psycho killer is Defcon 1 level Leftist. HTH

Are these people on left or right?

Unpossible. @The Real timschochetassured me that the majority of protestors simply oppose Netanyahu's policies...
  4. My state is so much better since all of the blue haired Californians started moving in.

Are these people on left or right?

Fair enough, my apologies. My message was more for @MDC who agreed with you. He thinks the brightest minds at the Ivies dont know what "from the river to the sea" means.

Are these people on left or right?

So if Nomad says from the river to the sea, it means killing. But if a highly educated Ivy League student does, not so much?

I'm on a subway in NY that just stopped at Columbia. You could hear protests above. They announced that this is the last train that will stop there.
  8. @weepawsis pretty worthless. He just posts that both sides are evil, put your faith in Jesus. Yet we still need to pick somebody to run the country.
  9. Others have pointed out that your links, which had no science, talked about police shootings. But the greater point is that shootings is a great proxy for lethal force, since knees-on-necks are fairly rare. And there is not difference in such force. Somehow you missed the most important reason, which is the utterly broken inner city black culture. It's not about skin color -- Nigerians are the most successful immigrant class currently. Ethiopians do very well as well. We've discussed this before: it's about personal responsibility, commitment to education, and family values.
  10. I know you dislike when science disagrees with your beliefs, but Harvard economist Roland Fryer (a black man) showed that there was no police bias in police shootings. There is however bias in non-lethal force. This study hurt his career btw. Colleagues suggested he bury it. Not the right woke message. I wonder how many other such studies meet such a fate? Abstract: This paper explores racial differences in police use of force. On non-lethal uses of force, blacks and Hispanics are more than fifty percent more likely to experience some form of force in interactions with police. Adding controls that account for important context and civilian behavior reduces, but cannot fully explain, these disparities. On the most extreme use of force –officer-involved shootings – we find no racial differences in either the raw data or when contextual factors are taken into account. We argue that the patterns in the data are consistent with a model in which police officers are utility maximizers, a fraction of which have a preference for discrimination, who incur relatively high expected costs of officer-involved shootings.

Deadpool update : possibly one of our own :(

Hope it's not true, but he has been MIA for several years.

    The ***OFFICIAL*** NFL draft thread

I heard the Falcons reasoning was: they had Penix as their #2qb, close to Daniel's at the top. They think they'll be better this year with Cousins so future picks will be later in the first round, not leaving a chance to get a future franchise qb.

Death pool update - Mike Pinder of Moody Blues

Thems fighting words. They were in my Mount Rushmore of favorite bands in the late 70s moving into the 80s. Although I was hugely disappointed with 90210

Death pool update - Mike Pinder of Moody Blues

Big fan of their music, but I saw them in Worcester MA in the late 80s and it was probably the worst concert I've ever seen. Just boring, no energy.

Harrison to the Cards, so far on script. If the Chargers draft Alt I more than recoup the money I lost listening to Gutter

#2 Daniels. Thanks for nothing, @Ron_Artest
  20. Yeah, I was wrong with the absolute. And perhaps in this day of mostly CC purchases the CC itself receives the request instantly, and then there are the amorphous couple of days of "bank processing" as you mentioned. Honestly, most of my purchases these days are on Amazon and with the occasional return, they are good about doing it quickly. And when I return stuff bought online to other places, who knows how long it really took to get there and for them to process it? Anyway, I deleted my post as I'm probably living in the past. Now get off my lawn!
  21. And you find this fairy tale consistent with all of the "death to Israel" and "we want it all" chants? @Mark Davisis correct, although I would argue that the marxist "oppressed vs. oppressor" is what's primarily being used to program these student flesh bots, so it is hard to separate the two.
  22. Yeah... and to me the more egregious thing was keeping kids out of school. People like me said from day 1 that they were going to significantly impair their growth and development. "Nah," we were told, "kids are resilient." We had many such debates here. And now there is universal recognition of exactly that happening. But hey, they meant well, right?
  23. I don't think all liberalism, or conservatism, is evil either. The bad of conservatism is that it sometimes stops good progress. The bad of liberalism is that it sometimes pushes bad progress. The difference I tried to point out is that the bad in conservatism is easy to see: you are being mean by not allowing [xxx]. The bad in liberalism is less easy to see (hence "insidious") because it seems like you are just trying to be nice in all cases.

Thanks. I'd be OK with either and another first (plus maybe more) over a potentially slightly better receiver in Harrison. I feel pretty good about our GM Monti Ossenfort; I thought he ran a good draft last year, his first. And he certainly made deals, trading up then back down in the first IIRC. If he decides to stand pat and take Harrison, then they must have a really good feeling about him.
