Tim Pool reportedly sells out to the Daily Wire
TimHauck replied to TimHauck's topic in The Geek Club
That’s a lot of rambling. I agree with him that Jake Shields is an idiot as are other people that were complaining about Tim and the Jews. He says multiple times they were having various contract negotiations on things like ad sales and he even said at one point he thought the rumor could have started from someone involved in those negotiations “trying to burn a contract,” so it does seem like the rumor was started by someone with inside knowledge of the company and not just some random media company or whatever. He also talks about how he loves the Daily Wire and how he plans on doing a lot of collabs with them. My main point all along is that reportedly selling out to the Daily Wire would prove he wasn’t a centrist, so I’d still argue that doing lots of collabs with them would still prove that same thing. But yes, I was wrong to believe he was selling to the Daily Wire. I’m sure having that Russia money already was helpful in not needing to sell. -

I literally said “reportedly” and “if confirmed” in the OP. Weird that he didn’t really deny it until a few days ago though. Like maybe the deal fell through or something -

Ryan/Shoemate are probably hard righties too. My read is that righties probably want the email to be true, so there’s not really motivation to try to discredit it other than trying to find the truth. Here are some of his other points - 1. Based on what we know about him, he wouldn’t have had access to the information about the drones that he said he did 2. Nap Time dude doesn’t think the drones were from China 3. Doesn’t make sense that he says he knows he was being tracked, but kept his phone on him and rented an easily trackable Tesla. 4. Says he had a “massive VBIED” but really didn’t 5. He used acronyms that people in his role wouldn’t use 6. The stuff about 2019 war crimes was already public 7. Formatting inconsistencies Isn’t a patsy someone that gets set up for something and often killed? If the email is true, he was trying to expose information. He says nothing about planning to blow himself up and says he was heading for Mexico, so the implication IMO is either someone killed him (patsy), or he’s still alive (not a patsy). Am I wrong on the definition of patsy? -

The Nap Time dude has said he believed Livelsberger was a patsy. Which this email if true would probably support, so that’s why I find it interesting that he doesn’t believe the email is legitimate. -

The biggest thing as mentioned by some others is that there is no evidence he actually owned a 2006 Ford Mustang. Haven’t listened but I see Ryan/Shoemate did an x spaces trying to answer some of the other questions and the only explanation for this is that he may have listed a wrong car intentionally. Not sure what you mean “protect his kind”? If anything, Green Berets would probably want this email to be real if it leaves open the possibility that it wasn’t suicide or that he’s not even dead. -
Boycott Costco! Standing firm on supporting DEI
TimHauck replied to TimHauck's topic in The Geek Club
It’s quite literally the definition. DEI1 abbreviation for diversity, equity, and inclusion: a conceptual framework that promotes the fair treatment and full participation of all people, especially in the workplace, including populations who have historically been underrepresented or subject to discrimination because of their background, identity, disability, etc. https://www.dictionary.com/browse/dei HTH -
Twitter adopts 'poison pill' to prevent Elon Musk takeover
TimHauck replied to Utilit99's topic in The Geek Club
lol, x suspended this account (as well as other writers) for doxxing,” for writing an article showing that Adrian Dittmann was actually a guy named Adrian Dittman. And pretty much all it did was say what country he lives in, from information that was posted publicly. Reminds me of how @Strike claimed Harrison Butker got “doxxed” because someone said what town he lives in. Weirdly, Musk even replied sarcastically to the article (thus giving it more exposure), saying “I am Adrian Dittmann,” before it was deleted. X blocks people from sharing the article, but not an NY Post article about the story. Here is the article for reference, maybe the most questionable thing they used was things that were posted then deleted, but I’d bet the law would still consider that public information, will be interesting if the Spectator wants to make a legal issue out of this. https://thespectator.com/topic/real-adrian-dittmann-not-elon-musk-x-account-fiji/ Here also is x’s doxxing policy: https://help.x.com/en/rules-and-policies/personal-information https://twitter.com/MarcACaputo/status/1876004660169089212 -
Boycott Costco! Standing firm on supporting DEI
TimHauck replied to TimHauck's topic in The Geek Club
That is what DEI means, yes. It’s just that some companies took it too far. Considering Costco is consistently considered one of the most loved companies by consumers and one of the best companies to work for, there is no indication that DEI has impacted the quality of their workforce. -

Twitter adopts 'poison pill' to prevent Elon Musk takeover
TimHauck replied to Utilit99's topic in The Geek Club
I like how he was mad that he claimed twitter overstated the number of bots and now, after he’s had plenty of time to get rid of them, he’s claiming that too many bots are why he’s recommending people only allow verified users to reply lol -

He allegedly wrote that in notepad on his phone or something. I think the question is why wouldn’t he put that message more out in the open which is a fair question to ask. I think the answer is he was unfortunately just having a mental breakdown from PTSD + his wife leaving him. At first I thought maybe he wanted his body to be unrecognizable so that the attack would seem like the perpetrator was a Democrat to get people to “fight to get the Dems out of the fed government,” but that wouldn’t explain having his military ID on him. -

If that letter is real, he likely chose the CyberTruck at least in part due to the Musk/Trump connection. Being able to contain the bomb could certainly have been a factor as well. -

I had never listened to Ryan before but he didn’t seem too bad TBH, most of the questionable stuff was coming from Shoemate IMO. Main complaint about Ryan was he seemed to be pretty much be encouraging “civil war” -

No as I said I listen to sources from all sides. I care more about the evidence being presented than who’s saying it, so 2 guys just speculating for an hour bores me. This guy has been one of the most outspoken I’ve seen that he thought this email was fake. Looks like he’s a hardcore righty that’s disappointed so many are believing it. One of the bigger red flags appears to be that his “first car” is not actually his first car. https://twitter.com/boneGPT/status/1875714104213856544 But I’m listening to the rest of the podcast now. Now Shoemate is talking about the anti-Trump Facebook posts from Livelsberger’s “wife.” Guess he forgot to check that they’ve been divorced for years and he had a new wife that just left him. Now he’s saying the New Orleans guy just had the ISIS flag because of “silliness.” Seems like Shoemate is bit of a whacko -

And then you kept telling people to watch the video as if watching 2 guys speculating would suddenly change their minds (I watched about 1/3 of it then got bored).
