Probably, but I doubt that had anything to do with why @edjr started this thread
-
Apologies if that one was already posted. I just checked the timeline of @RaiderHaters Revenge hero Tim Pool and it’s also weird. Basically he’s accusing libs of some sort of “op,” while simultaneously posting that he proposes we end H1B visas and retweeting many prominent conservatives who also made posts against H1B. Yeah, obviously libs are trying to magnify it, but that doesn’t mean it’s a “fake controversy”
-
Elon told people against H1B to “fock themselves in the face” and that he will “go to war” over the issue. But @EternalShinyAndChrome says it’s a fake controversy, so NBD

That’s a real controversy amongst conservatives, it’s okay you can admit it -

Never heard of Dittman until today, but seems plausible -

Horsecrap getting distracted by secondary points again

True. Do you think this thread would exist if Zegler was Italian? She could definitely pass as Italian
-
I will say it was pretty genius of Trump to make DOGE not an official government agency. Should make it easier to get rid of Elon when the bromance inevitably comes to an end

Thanks for showing that diversity is part of what makes America better than those other countries.

Sure libs are playing it up and laughing at the in-fighting, but It’s not a fake controversy and was in fact started amongst conservatives, namely Loomer. I think you said you don’t follow social media but there were quite a few prominent conservative social media personalities arguing about it. Several of them even called out that they didn’t like Loomer but that they agreed with her on this issue. I would liken it to the topic of getting rid of birthright citizenship. Obviously H1B visas have been around for years, but considering the whole “America first” agenda, seems like a fair question to ask if Trump plans on changing anything about them especially since he was apparently in favor of getting rid of them during his first term.

So @edjr was making up quotes? -
Also, @listen2me 23, why didn’t you ridicule the middle aged man that started this thread?

She’s better looking than Sydney Sweeney, IMO
-
She was a personal guest of Trump’s at events and most likely focked him. She doesn’t speak for half of the US, but she was really the one that started this “controversy,” that many other MAGA folk agree with her on
-
Laura Loomer is a leftist?
-
She’s really only half Hispanic anyway. Also half Polish

You realize there’s a thread on here with over 4,000 posts mostly from righties complaining about Disney right? -
Her dad is Polish. Doesn’t get much more white than that

Honest question, do international sales typically lag behind domestic? For example I see that Wicked doesn’t even come out in Japan until March. As a quick comparison I looked up the Barbie Movie, Despicable Me 4 and Inside Out 2, which all did around 40% of their total sales in the US. Wicked on the other hand has done almost 70% of its sales in the US. To me that suggests it still has a lot more sales to come in internationally which would likely bring it over $1 billion globally. https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl3638199041/ https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl1077904129/ https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl2603516673/ https://www.boxofficemojo.com/release/rl1199474177/rankings/ -

“I hope it’s a bit of a love letter to everyone who feels different, who feels out of place, to all of the Black women who have walked into rooms and felt like they haven’t been welcomed,” Erivo told Variety. “To anyone who’s walked into a room and felt like they haven’t been welcomed. I am really glad to be the conduit through which this character has been brought to the world.” https://variety.com/2024/film/features/wicked-cynthia-erivo-elphaba-black-queer-woman-1236218605/
