I can’t speak for the medical community, but while they probably wouldn’t “encourage” it like some believe the community does for trans surgeries, I don’t think they would stop it. Occam’s razor very obviously says that the reason Israel won’t even let people (including other western Journalists also) take pictures (or in cases like this not go at all) while flying over Gaza is because they don’t want people to see what it looks like.
