On around 8/1/25 just before the backlash started, their price was up about +60% vs the prior year.

A lot of that came after the recent backlash which started around August though. It was hovering between $65-70 for most of July and had actually started trending upwards after continuing a similar decline as it had been for about her first year.

I think 30 makes sense because most people that get them would still be alive by the time the 30 years are up (even though I realize most people don’t actually keep their loan to term). At 50 years I don’t think that’s the case
