Not necessarily. The wording I saw only referred to transgenders that were born male. Khelif was “born female,” DSD’s are a different discussion than transgender.

From what I read the Republican candidate in the VA governor race was pushing the trans in women’s sports topic big time, with over half of her ads talking about it. She got crushed. Normies don’t want trans in women’s sports, but it’s well down the list of priorities. Only hardcore MAGA’s that were going to vote R anyway make it one of their top issues.

I’m shocked, shocked I say that the guy that apparently came up with this plan has a family business that builds homes. At first I wasn’t sure what to think of this, but after looking at the numbers, it’s definitely bad. A person taking out a $400k loan today at 6% is paying $2,398 in principal & interest, and is paying $463K in interest over the life of the loan. At 50 years and 6%, it goes down to $2,105 but is paying over $850k (!) in interest over the life of the loan. But that’s not even taking into account that all else equal, this likely just makes prices go higher. Interestingly, the payment for a 30 year loan at 4.8% (still much higher than Covid era) is still lower than the payment on a 50 year loan at 6%.

It’s extending something that was initially meant to be temporary. I thought it was a good idea to extend those as well, although I do think it’s disingenuous if people considered it a “new tax cut” at the time of the OBBB. As mentioned above, extending something that already exists to me shouldn’t be considered a “tax cut.” It wasn’t going to put any additional money into people’s pockets than they were already getting.
