That just happened 2 days ago, which came about during the trial after the government threatened to deport him if he was released on bail during the trial. And it doesn’t say they can’t deport him, it says they need to give him 72 hours notice of what country they plan to deport him to, give him an opportunity to say if he has a credible fear of persecution in that country, and that the government needs to ensure that the third country won’t send him to El Salvador. https://storage.courtlistener.com/recap/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815/gov.uscourts.mdd.578815.238.0_1.pdf -

Oh hey another liar. I prefaced most of what I posted in here with “reportedly” or “allegedly.” I don’t know if Israel is always lying, but it’s awfully convenient that every single time they get caught doing something bad it’s “an accident” or “they actually killed Hamas.” I even posted an article where it was confirmed the IDF lied about attacking an ambulance that they claimed didn’t have sirens but video confirmed it did, from the NY Post to satisfy your request for only believing something if it comes from a source you agree with (ironic, considering @nobody’s comment above about me). No one is arguing that Israel is worse than Hamas, but what started this whole conversation was a simple statement by me that Israel has committed war crimes, which they have. Do you disagree? -

Figured this deserved its own thread. What do we think the Supreme Court will decide on this? I’m not sure. I’m no legal expert, but the “BuT iT wAs OnLy InTeNdEd FoR sLaVeS!” argument doesn’t seem very credible to me, as the actual amendment says nothing about slaves and the way it is written is very broad: https://constitution.congress.gov/constitution/amendment-14/ All persons born or naturalized in the United States, and subject to the jurisdiction thereof, are citizens of the United States and of the State wherein they reside. No State shall make or enforce any law which shall abridge the privileges or immunities of citizens of the United States; nor shall any State deprive any person of life, liberty, or property, without due process of law; nor deny to any person within its jurisdiction the equal protection of the laws. However, the main case considered to set the precedent for this is probably where Trump has a better argument: Wong Kim Ark. I didn’t say all Republican voters are fat, but it’s stupid to try to blame it on liberal controlled cities when 60-70% of the population didn’t vote Democrat. Especially since the fattest state doesn’t even really have a big city (the metro area of the largest city only accounts for about 11% of WV’s population. In contrast, about 57% of GA’s population lives in the Atlanta metro). But also lol at blaming it on seed oils. I’d put a lot of the blame on the heat. Unless your job is outside, it’s basically too hot for people to go outside for longer than like 45 minutes for 1/3 of the year in the south.

Lol at thinking the minority of the population drives this stat: Just 3 of the 10 states have a population that’s 30% or more black (Alabama, Louisiana, and Mississippi with Mississippi the highest at 37%). Two are between 17-20% (Tennessee and Arkansas). The rest include Indiana (11%), Kentucky (8%), Oklahoma (7%), and Iowa (5%). The fattest state, West Virginia, is just 4% black. (National average is 14%)

Speaking of the terrorist prison, more stories are coming out. -hit with baseball bats -their beds were metal benches.
