    This economy is so bad

You literally just said “we have to be ready to face some challenges.” That sure sounds like a belief that the economy could get worse to me.
  2. Anyone who thinks Trump is going to try to do something to stay President after 2028 is looney. Not to mention he’ll be 82 anyway.

    This economy is so bad

Shocker, already setting the stage to blame Democrats if the economy gets worse. I’m most concerned about Musk’s goal of gutting the federal government. Yes, it should help in the long-run, but that’s years away, and it’s also not really Democrats’ (especially recent Democrats’) fault it got to the size it did, the number of Federal employees is actually less than it was in the late 80’s/early 90’s. There are 3 million federal employees, so based on Musk’s track record we could be looking at 1 million plus heading to unemployment. And also likely impacts on private sector businesses that depend on government contracts.
  4. Saw that Trump won Miami Dade convincingly after losing in 2020, one of the bigger swings. In addition to the economy, legal immigrants not liking the increase in illegal immigrants makes sense, although I am curious how many of the Hispanic Trump voters had parents that were illegal.
  5. Retirement buyouts is a good idea. Hopefully they do something like that and not what Elon did at Twitter.

I’m willing to question the media now.

Looks likely, but even Fox News has not called AZ or NV yet.
  7. I’m not sure if Elon has actually watched Office Space, comparing himself to those guys isn’t exactly a compliment

So no talks about voter fraud?

Even this guy who thinks the covid vax is killing everyone knows the “15 million votes disappeared” thing is BS https://twitter.com/USMortality/status/1854388360980156704

here’s some more: Trump currently at 72.6 million, Harris 67.9. Compared to Biden 81.3 Trump 74.2 in 2020. AZ: 67% counted, 1.1 million votes remaining, 52/47 Trump means 0.6 million Trump 0.5 million Harris CO: 77% counted, 0.8 million votes remaining, 55/43 for Harris means 0.4 million Harris 0.3 Trump MD: 79% counted, 0.7 million votes remaining, 60/37 for Harris means 0.4 million Harris 0.3 million Trump WA: 79% counted, 0.8 million votes remaining, 59/39 for Harris means 0.5 million Harris 0.3 million Trump So just from these 5 states means 11.5 million more Trump+Harris votes, not even counting the other states not done counting yet. And of those 11.5 million, 6.4 million would be projected to go to Harris and 4.7 million Trump based on current %’s, putting Trump at 77.3 million and Harris 74.3 million, so only a net difference of -4 million vs 2020 (again not counting remaining votes in other states). That would also drop the popular vote to a 2% margin.

Biden Just Called Trump Supporters “Garbage”

Yes he was one of the ones I voted for

Here’s some math: California is only 55% counted. 9.8 million votes thus far with a 57/40 split for Harris. That would mean 8 million votes remaining and at the same split would be 4.6 million for Harris and 3.2 million for Trump. With several west coast states still with decent chunks of votes outstanding seems likely we’ll end up seeing a similar # of total votes after all, with Trump getting more than 2020.
  14. I think you’re thinking of the VP-elect, who is kinda the opposite of his opponent.

    RFK already reforming the FDA

Oh great the “Bill Gates is buying up all the farmland” nonsense again. From an x user named B Gates is a Psycho, surely he’s not biased

Two uninspiring candidates and a bigger emphasis on mail in voting in 2020.
  17. 2020 obviously had more (non-fraudulent) votes because of the emphasis on mail in voting due to Covid . Trump is also about 3 million short of his 2020 total currently, although not sure how many more he might expect
  18. What was the point? Are you saying Trump is for sure winning all 3 of NV, AZ and MI? (NV looks safe, not sure about the other 2)
  19. I agree she’s not coming back in WI. But I wouldn’t have been surprised if the lib sites hadn’t called it yet
  20. Again I was just referring to @jonmx’s 310 EV prediction. Looks like Trump has increased his lead in AZ but still 40% of the vote remaining. Interestingly his lead in WI is down to under 1% but only just over 1% of the vote remaining. But looks like even the lib sites are still giving him WI. Jon was correct on the popular vote and could be correct on the 310 EV’s (still TBD, I will give him credit if he ends up correct on that), but he did overshoot the margin of victory in the swing states. Even his gloating last night said the average margin in the swing states will be 3 instead of his prediction of 4 or 5, which was already a takedown from him previously saying he would win the swing states by around 5 points. And Trump still has some work to do to get to the 3 point average victory in the swing states.

    Popular vote.

Lol, he won this time. He lost last time. It happens.
  22. Lol. Looks like it was driven by the Hispanic voters. Probably legal immigrants or children of legal immigrants that want the rest to also come in legally.
