Israel's quest for justice exposes Hamas' systematic sexual violence campaign during October 7 massacre
TimHauck replied to seafoam1's topic in The Geek Club
First of all, I didn’t demand you answer my question first like the person that post you quoted was about. Honestly I didn’t even mean that question to be directed to you specifically, I just wanted to quote a post about GHF. Second, your post was you continuing to cast doubt about attacks of people getting aid. I had previously replied to that post with a story from Times of Israel (AKA not “Hamas Harry”) about another recent attack of people getting aid. Of course the IDF says they were “targeting Hamas” which I’m sure you lap right up. I did not reply to the bolded because I’ve said repeatedly that Hamas is worse, yet you keep being disingenuous and implying I have no issue with Hamas and apparently are now also calling civilians in Gaza “the enemy.” Didn’t we provide aid to the people of Afghanistan? -

Hasan: I think we might have to rename this show, because you’re a little more than a far-right Republican Fascist dude: Hey, what can I say? Hasan: I think you can say, “I’m a fascist” Fascist dude. Yeah, I am. Absolutely. -

No, it doesn’t make logical sense to do that if the statement is actually true. Hasan did the same thing in regards to asking when he said something that he never said, but it was when the other person attributed a statement to him that he never said, but also didn’t agree with (that Americans are lazy). -

In that video, no one. But like I said, the only reasonable way to interpret him saying that is that he is actually claiming he did NOT vote Republican. So I thought it was funny that conservatives on social media were slobbering over him yet he pretty much said he didn’t vote Republican. -

Most likely himself before he got picked to be in the video. But I guess saying “who said I ___ ?“ is the new line for conservatives to try to deny something they do actually believe. @BrahmaBulls did that as well when he initially tried casting doubt that he never thought Vance Boelter was a lib, only to eventually admit that even now he thinks Boelter is more likely to be a lib than a Republican. -

I don’t think it’s fair to accuse the Trump admin of corruption in trying to coax a lie out of Maxwell. More likely is that Maxwell and her lawyers initiated it, and simply know that if she doesn’t implicate Trump her chances of getting leniency are better. -

He said “who said I voted Republican?” A normal person (AKA not @EternalShinyAndChrome) would interpret that to mean he did not vote Republican. Of course the same guy also said “who said I’m not an economist?” only to later admit he in fact was not an economist And of course as Hasan pointed out the title of the video is “1 Progressive vs 20 Far Right Conservatives,” I assume there was some sort of description given when these guys signed up, so it would seem fair for Hasan to initially assume he voted Republican. -

A question I had myself but I’ve now seen others more important than me raise as well: has GHF explained why it seems the primary food they provide is ~20 lb bags of flour? So the people will often need to carry it for miles to get home, and of course may need to find something to cook it with if their home was blown up or is now in a “restricted area.” Seems like they’d be much more efficient giving out something like this: https://www.edesianutrition.org/global-foods/ (ironically they went somewhat viral at the beginning of DOGE because they received funding from USAID and the government delayed payment for product that was already produced and that they already had a contract for). -

Oh and probably worth noting that this dude claimed he didn’t even vote Republican. Unless of course he was pulling an @EternalShinyAndChrome and would say that saying “who said I voted Republican?” somehow means he did actually vote Republican -
Wasn’t there a guy here who claimed he moved to Florida to do that?

What do you mean “nobody told Coca-Cola”? They make both, use primarily HFCS in the US, and if I had to bet they probably charge more for the cane sugar version. I think a lot of people just claim to like the taste better. But I don’t think Coke has actually said they would be getting rid of HFCS. This excerpt is from the same study I referenced; it’s pretty much the only finding in an actual study supporting anything about HFCS being significantly worse than sugar, and it was just a “marker for inflammation,” while there was no difference between all the actual measures that most would consider more important: “A 2022 study found that both high fructose corn syrup and sucrose had the same effects on weight, blood pressure, cholesterol and blood sugar but that high fructose corn syrup caused a small increase in C-reactive protein, a marker of inflammation“

Why didn’t it make sense? The people saying “why didn’t Biden release the list???” are dumb. Dems aren’t being loud about it because they want to see the list, they’re just calling out the hypocrisy of the folks that campaigned on releasing the list (not so much Trump himself but several of his admin) and are now backtracking . -

Is it relevant when he says he would threaten to invade El Salvador if he was President though? -

This. Pretty much exactly what will probably happen now with Obama. Release some “files” that they claim say something that they really don’t, then do nothing about it. -
Did the math and at best what we got paid was about break-even from a purely financial standpoint. Of course that doesn’t include the extra time commitment. And except for literally one shopping trip where I used a SNAP card they gave me but stopped using it after that since it was more trouble than it was worth, none of it came from the government, we did it through a non-profit.
