  5. I for one am glad we have this dude in a key counter-terrorism role. Meritocracy, baby https://www.houstonchronicle.com/news/article/maga-loyalist-22-gets-big-dhs-counter-terror-job-20363900.php
  6. Most normal people (including me) don’t hire illegals. But many hire companies that likely hire illegals. I think I’ve said this before but I wouldn’t be so sure that mass deportation will be a good thing for legal workers in the home improvement industry. Less consumers will be able to afford the costs, resulting in reduced demand, and companies might go out of business rather than eat the higher costs.
  7. Construction costs about to go way up with all these Home Depot arrests
  8. I’d call it more of a call to violence than a direct threat. This would be a similar example from the other side: https://x.com/Matthewtravis08/status/1936240505920090270
  9. It’s a tweet directly from Trump’s official account dummy. I get it. But lol at “now is the time for peace”

VIOLENCE is a Feature of the Left, not an Exception

I don’t think this guy is trying to take advantage of MAGA folks, he mostly seems to want to tarnish the reputation of this doctor for some reason.

VIOLENCE is a Feature of the Left, not an Exception

Seems possible MAGA fell for fake news again. If these charges turn out to be BS can we all agree Miller should resign?

VIOLENCE is a Feature of the Left, not an Exception

This Miller guy once got a DUI after crashing his car and pissing his pants.

Two Dem lawmakers shot, one dead in MN

They were ready to give in that Boelter wasn’t a leftist for a couple days, and had denounced it. Now they have some retarded reason to think he’s leftist again and are back to blaming the left.

VIOLENCE is a Feature of the Left, not an Exception

The suspect is a US-born citizen, and a licensed physician. Something fishy about this story.

Alex Padilla Thread - US Senator from California.

JD apparently cared enough to create theater out of the response. They were in the senate together. He knows his name.
  19. Sorry to distract from your conversation @jerryskids. Here’s some analysis suggesting the “trans isn’t a protected class” stuff may not be as broad as some think: https://www.nysun.com/article/supreme-courts-decision-to-uphold-state-ban-on-medical-gender-transitions-for-minors-is-a-devastating-loss-for-transgender-people-aclu-says?member_gift=CUZ5qwd3crq4pmz-xrd Way too many words in this article but I think these were the most relevant: The court’s decision, however monumental, will not necessarily have sweeping implications for transgender-related litigation more broadly, according to a law professor at Duke University, Doriane Lambelet Coleman, the author of “On Sex And Gender: a Commonsense Approach.” She said that the court has left as an open question whether transgender people should be recognized as a protected class, for whom a higher level of legal scrutiny under the 14th Amendment is warranted. … Addressing the question of Bostock’s application outside of employment contexts, the majority found that the law “does not alter the court’s analysis.” To assess for discrimination barred by the statute, that 2020 decision applied a test in which changing the person’s sex would change the outcome of the dispute. But in the case of the Tennessee ban, the court found that this test did not, in fact, change the outcome; children would still be banned from receiving drugs for the purpose of transitioning their gender if they were the opposite sex. However, the court issued a notably restrained ruling in this context, declining to address whether Bostock’s reasoning “reaches behind the Title VII context.” This should limit the reach of this decision. “Lawyers working to secure trans rights can continue to use Bostock based reasoning where the language of the law allows it,” Ms. Coleman said.
