U.S. Military and boat strikes thread - Was The Follow-Up Boat Strike a War Crime?

You don’t have to answer, but if you’re not going to, you probably shouldn’t be asking the same question of your own 50-something times (which I have actually answered btw) -

Heritage Foundation backs Tucker after backlash for Nick Fuentes interview

Well Fuentes of course is as he admits. But a lot of conservatives have been saying that Tucker, and now the Heritage Foundation, are anti-semitic as well -

Why would you say “we haven’t hit any land targets” if you weren’t going to accept that anyway? -

Yes I’m pretty sure he thinks war requires a declaration of war, and thus he also thinks we haven’t been in a war since WWII. Of course I need to say “pretty sure” because as you mention he is just trolling and won’t actually provide an opinion. I’d think if we hit land targets that counts as war. But I’ve said I will defer to Polymarket’s definition. Interesting that we announce this just after hitting some boats in the Pacific, sheep like you fell for the distraction to be able to claim “see, we’re not unfairly targeting Venezuela!” -

So I assume if we go to healthcare.gov now, the prices shown are what they expect to be without the additional funding, correct? I’ve seen some x posts with ridiculous costs, but I know it will vary depending on the situation -

And what other leftist assassination attempts were made in 2018-2023? I just tried searching in general and I see: 2018 MAGA dude mails pipe bombs which targeted multiple Democrats 2019 white supremacist Christopher Paul Hasson plotted to kill Democrats 2020 pro-Trump, anti-Obama self-described “antifeminist” attempts to kill Obama-appointed judge, killing her son 2022 assassination attempt on Dem Louisville mayor, but by a BLM dude (so a point for you here) 2024 Trump x2 - I’ll give you Routh, but even he was mostly just crazy on one issue and was a previous Trump voter. Crooks is really still TBD (well probably never will be determined at this point) So yeah, I disagree that “the left is responsible for the resusurge in politically motivated violence.” Seems like you have both a selective memory and a bias in declaring that if someone tries to kill a conservative they must be a leftist (but seemingly not the same attitude when someone tries to kill a Democrat). It’s also interesting you start in 2017 even though there were multiple plots to kill Obama as well as the assassination attempt on Gabby Giffords prior to that, although similar to Crooks, the guy who shot Giffords may not have been really either left or right. -

Why do you put “example” in parentheses? Please tell me you’re not an “aPpOiNtEd By WaLz” guy. So when a righty commits a crime for what can be considered a political reason (IMO, attacking Mormons is just as “political” as allegedly attacking someone for being anti-trans), they’re written off as a “nutjob,” but if a lefty (or at least, someone that the right claims is a lefty) does it, they are representative of the entire left. The hypocrisy is stunning. Then the blaming the left for a righty committing a politically motivated assassination is a nice touch. Right out of the @TBayXXXVII playbook. -

TimHauck replied to TimHauck's topic in The Geek Club
Yes it is disputable. I’m not saying they were righties but there is less evidence that Tyler Robinson, Thomas Crooks and Joshua Jahn for example were “leftists” than there is evidence that Vance Boelter was a righty. And of course the fact that Boelter, and the MAGA dude that attacked a Mormon church just to name a couple recent examples, exist, are counter to your whole argument. Also, kinda the entire reason that Tucker was getting backlash is that many on the right don’t want to accept Fuentes as “one of them” (again, rightfully so). If there is one guy that “agrees politically” with a lot of stuff on the right that mentally ill righties might want to kill, it’s Fuentes. -

Link to that person being a leftist? As you can see there are many on the right that don’t like Fuentes as well (rightfully so of course). -

Republicans know they need the votes of Fuentes’s followers. They tried canceling him, but he’s uncancelable. Seems like they’re now trying to see if they can turn him into slightly less of a POS. I do think this statement from the Heritage Foundation is yet another realization from influential Republicans that more and more voters on the right, especially younger ones, are not fans of the Israeli government, and especially the US funding them. -
