Kamala Harris “throws around F-bombs” and constantly berated her staff when she was California Attorney General, according to a shocking report.
TimHauck replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
True, probably should have just commented about Trump being a tyrannical boss and firing people whenever he felt like it. Did she cheat? At worst you can say she was the “other woman” on a technicality, but Brown and his wife had been separated for over a decade. Or are you referring to a different relationship? -

He agreed to it, but he obviously wasn’t the one that suggested it. -

Agree. Pretty sh1tty of her to make him sound scared if she’s the one demanding it be on CNN. Has he said he would do one on Fox? -

I would bet it’s more just because they want to keep their jobs and don’t want Elon to fire them all -

Former Packers’ Quarterback Aaron Rodgers Voted NFL’s ‘Most Annoying Player’
TimHauck replied to edjr's topic in The Geek Club
Oh sorry, didn’t realize they had to be in the MVP conversation to be voted most annoying. Here is the actual source of the survey, and not a Forbes article: https://www.actionnetwork.com/nfl/nfl-fan-survey And there is a link to the google doc there. Looks like they only included 15 options, but for some reason they included JuJu Smith Schuster, Mitchell Trubisky, and Carson Wentz which seem like odd choices -
Of course the vax policies were intended to extort people into getting the jab, that’s what a mandate is. But I was always against the vax mandate. Most of what that guy was saying wasn’t “abusing his position,” it was just hypocrisy. Although the one part he says was “a year and a half” in, when there were few restrictions.

Shots fired near Trump as he leaves Florida club
TimHauck replied to F1erce's topic in The Geek Club
It’s not a danger to question election results. It is a danger to break into and storm the Capitol to do so (and I’d agree with the “angry mob that got out of hand” comment) -

I didn’t mean to imply that my conclusion was based on the number of items in each list. It was based on my opinion of the weightings. It’s worth noting that some of the negatives can likely be solved without deporting them. IMO, the #1 complaint from residents is the driving. If they aren’t already, they should absolutely be ticketing and/or towing cars being driven illegally. Boom! Revenue source to help with the increased social services. I know some have suggested increased availability of driving lessons. Boom! Business opportunity. What I think many that are complaining about them are forgetting is what the town was like before they arrived. I’ve read articles citing that it had the biggest decline in median income of any town following the 2008 recession. And I’m sure home prices followed suit (that’s why I put housing prices in the neutral column - I understand why it’s bad for those with low and fixed incomes, but it’s generally a sign of a strong economy). But sure, maybe it’s not known exactly how much of the town’s turnaround is because of the Haitians or kinda just coincided with it. I do have a feeling the 20k number is being overstated, even though I believe it may have originated from the mayor or something. Written statements from the government estimate that it is 12-15K for the entire county which has a population of 136K. So it’s more like 10-15% and not 33%. Also the articles I’ve read have said they’ve been coming for about 5 years, so it’s not like they all came at once. I know you are focused on the job issue. I guess we don’t know, but do you think factories are employing 100% Haitians or something? Even the CEO that gave the interview and kinda criticized the local population, said only about 10% of his employees were Haitian. So for one, I’d have a hard time believing factories are paying Haitians less than Americans doing the exact same job, and if they are they should absolutely be investigated. But everything I’ve seen indicates that the Haitians aren’t really taking jobs that other people willingly wanted to do. But to our earlier conversation, it’s not really clear if that is more due to there just not being enough local people, or the local people choosing not to take those jobs. -

I see you skipped responding to this one. I’ll answer. When the reporter asked the question about if he was vaccinated, the first word out of his mouth was “yeah.” Nonetheless, I’d like to call out that I did not bring this topic up. I was over it, and Rodgers even said last month that he regrets saying it. I also have made previous comments in here that I enjoyed his interviews on the McAfee show. I even drafted him as a backup in one of my fantasy leagues. Almost dropped him last week though after the poor first 2 weeks, but missed out on my waiver claim. Hopefully last night is a sign of better things to come. -

Uh, you’re the one arguing I’m insulting people by calling them MAGA, it was literally the slogan and lots of people call themselves MAGA. If I was like Rusty and said “MAGATurd” or whatever, that would be an insult. But I didn’t, I was just stating a fact. -

TimHauck replied to F1erce's topic in The Geek Club
Agree. I disagree that it’s not as bad because you think the left’s rhetoric specifically targets Trump. For one, the “they must be stopped” post didn’t even mention Trump and was addressing “MAGA Republicans” in the plural form. Regardless, if we’re condemning “dangerous rhetoric” (which I am fine with condemning I just wouldn’t really blame the assassination attempts on, particularly based on what we know about the would-be assassins), I disagree that saying Trump is being targeted somehow makes it not as bad. Saying “America will fall to tyranny” could encourage something like, I dunno, trying to overturn the election results. That’d be crazy if something like that happened. -

I don’t consider MAGA to be an insult, do you? That’s weird if so. But MAGA is a different adjective than Republican or Conservative. -
