My point is the trafficking charges are political theater. In my opinion, if the government doesn’t see the trial through, they are acknowledging that, which would also be acknowledging that they don’t think they will win. If they just wanted to deport him they could have done that without the trafficking charges. Hence, the trafficking charges are theater.
