Boycott the Dolphins!! They don’t respect the police!!
-
Well the guy that’s probably going to get fired might disagree with you
-
No, but cops that suck at their job should probably know when they’re ticketing someone famous because bystanders will take lots of video of it.

They did. Haitians were brought in by employers to fill jobs that weren’t being taken by current residents. I’ve read a few articles about this from before the current hysteria and this link was one of the better ones talking about both the positives and negatives. TL/DR: the biggest actual complaint is probably their driving, and interestingly the parents of the child that was killed in the school bus crash said they didn’t want his name to be used like it is currently by propagandists, saying “We do not want our son’s name to be associated with the hate that’s being spewed at these meetings” https://www.aljazeera.com/features/2023/12/12/how-a-childs-death-caused-an-ohio-city-to-turn-on-its-haitian-community -
Well there was more than 1 cop. At least one knew who he was, at least one didn’t, don’t remember if the main dbag did or didn’t

Actually unlike what someone here claimed I said, when the initial conversation about illegal immigrants’ impact on rent prices first took place, I specifically said that places like border towns that got an usually large number of immigrants could have seen a higher impact than average in rent prices as a result. But posters here were trying to suggest illegal immigration was driving up rent prices nationally which is ridiculous considering rents are up pretty much everywhere regardless of whether or not there’s been a significant increase in immigrants. So I guess you could group Springfield as similar to the border towns due to the unusually large increase in immigrants. Except it doesn’t even appear rents there have increased more than the national average. These rednecks being interviewed probably don’t realize that rents have increased everywhere, and that many would consider $775 to be a great value. -

If our fellow countrymen wanted to work at the apparently abundant factory jobs in Springfield the Haitians probably never would have went there -

If you’re quoting a 5.1% increase, you need to compare it to the increase nationally. Otherwise immigrants can’t possibly be the reason for the increase -

Oof A 27% decrease in median incomebetween 1999 and 2014 was the largest of any metropolitan area in the country -

Correct. Except apparently it was like that long before the Haitians arrived. -

I didn’t say anything about income, but I’d bet the average rent as a percentage of income is lower in Springfield than the national average. -

lol you’re so dishonest. The average rent in Springfield is 51% lower than the national average. Geek club: Haitians are making rent in Springfield unaffordable!! Literally from the same source you got those numbers from, which shows that $775 is a whole $4 higher than the average: https://www.apartments.com/rent-market-trends/springfield-oh/ -

Geek Club thinks paying $775 in rent in 2024 means rents have skyrocketed because of illegal immigrants, lololol -
So kinda like Hill wasn’t proven guilty of child abuse, got it. I actually believe they both did what they were accused of, but your double standards are interesting.

Remind us your opinion of Deshaun Watson’s alleged crimes against women again?

I am talking about Campbell
-
Not sure, hard to hear what he was saying initially with the cop yelling and talking over him
-
You’re not entitled to stand on a public sidewalk? And he was literally asking them how far back they wanted him to stand.

Except based on her own words that wasn’t due to the Haitians, it was because she thinks the landlords can get more rent if they fix it up. -
Because it destroys the narrative of “Hill deserved to be treated that way because he wasn’t cooperating.” Campbell was calm and they were still being dbags to him.

Hill said “hold on, I just had surgery on my knee” (which is an odd thing to say considering he played in an NFL game after this), to me that sounds like he just wanted to do it slowly. The guy only waited about a second to grab him around the head and force him down, then shoved him once he was down (and made a stupid comment about “you need surgery on your ears”). Seems like a theme of this whole ordeal of the cops giving an order and then either not waiting very long to allow them to follow it or then changing it or contradicting what one of the other cops was saying.
