My point is the trafficking charges are political theater. In my opinion, if the government doesn’t see the trial through, they are acknowledging that, which would also be acknowledging that they don’t think they will win. If they just wanted to deport him they could have done that without the trafficking charges. Hence, the trafficking charges are theater.

Lol this dude ain’t going anywhere. But if you’ve been following current events, a lot of them do show up for their court dates. Maybe less will now though since ICE has been picking up people at their scheduled court dates

Why won’t they go along with the judge to release him then? The guy is probably the most recognizable El Salvadoran in the country right now, he ain’t going anywhere (even though apparently @EternalShinyAndChrome thinks he’s going to run away).

I don’t know if he was “MAGA.” Might have been a single issue voter, but he was 100% a Republican voter.
