Which is kinda weird that they did that since Bukele stated definitively he was a terrorist and I thought CECOT was supposed to be the terrorist prison. Serious question though, if we deport someone that has not been charged with a crime other than entering the US illegally, they’re not usually put in jail in their home country right? Thats one of the bigger issues here IMO

The original “ruling” was only to determine whether he could get bond. It didn’t “rule” that he was in MS-13, it just said that the accusation he was “appeared trustworthy” so he was denied bond. Then all the appeals court said was that he didn’t do a good enough job “proving he wasn’t a danger.”
