It’s kinda not though In Kocher’s analysis, since January, detentions of immigrants with no convictions or charges have had a relative growth three times greater than those of convicted criminals—the consequence of the cold logic that the easiest place to find immigrants to detain is at scheduled meetings. -

Over the last year, the messages he received from their immigration portal seemed encouraging. “We are actively reviewing your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization,” a message on Sept. 12, 2024, read. “Our records showed nothing is outstanding at this time.” Then, on March 7 of this year, “We scheduled an interview for your Form N-400, Application for Naturalization.” -

I look at it kinda like Abrego Garcia. If they want to deport him, fine. Deport him. But don’t keep him locked in a cell for a month. He has not been accused of any crime other than missing a form. -

It’s not clear. His wife is on record as stating that the meeting where he was detained was supposed to be his “final interview” for citizenship, and they were supposedly never notified that it still needed to be completed though: Via their gofundme link: “On April 15, 2025, we headed to Memphis for his final interview where we were met by ICE agents and Kasper was detained for paperwork miscommunication in 2015. We were not notified of this at any point over the years nor did it ever show up in his USCIS portal or any of our previous interviews/appointments. He has been detained and is being held in an ICE facility in Louisiana for over a month now.” -

Prasad is not an antivaxxer. There is evidence that the first 2 doses of the covid vax (and natural infection) provide long-term protection from serious disease even from different strains, which is not really true for the flu.

It’s not “not allowing” them, it’s just saying they need to conduct a study before approving them. That’s the opposite of anti-science. This is just catching up to what the science already says, that the first 2 doses were overall beneficial, but that there’s not really evidence that boosters do much for young people. Maybe @RaiderHaters Revenge will stop yelling at me to get my boosters now. Not my side and I’ve never said we need to change the entire system. But, wouldn’t a lot of white people being unnecessarily killed by cops also be a potential reason for “changing the system”? -
