Restaurant chain shuts down nearly 50 locations in California following minimum wage hike
TimHauck replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
Interestingly the Fox Business article didn’t even mention the bankruptcy. It mentioned Red Lobster though! -
She’s taking more credit than she deserves but she’s not totally wrong. Their interaction 2 seasons ago with the “you can’t see me” thing probably did help raise the interest level around Clark/women’s basketball.

Ah you got me. It had been awhile since I was wrong so I’ll take this one. I see you are ignoring the part about them declaring bankruptcy 3.5 years ago though -
This thread reminded me of this

48 locations. $20 minimum wage only applied to chains with 60 or more locations. -
Didn’t you hear? @Tree of Knowledge says all the Patriots are going to be rounded up and put in camps

11 NFL teams so far decline to bow to pride month messaging
TimHauck replied to Maximum Overkill's topic in The Geek Club
And working like a charm. I spot checked a couple other teams x accounts and the Browns I believe it was for example posted “It’s June now,” but then wrote something about dogs and a bunch of people are in the comments saying “so glad this wasn’t a pride post and that you’re one of the 11!” -

Over the weekend, 11 NFL teams chose not to tweet or acknowledge pride month. The 11 teams are: The Pittsburgh Steelers, Cleveland Browns, Cincinnati Bengals, Tennessee Titans, Kansas City Chiefs, Denver Broncos, Dallas Cowboys, Detroit Lions, Green Bay Packers, New Orleans Saints, and Atlanta Falcons. -
The point is Carter has a history of being dirty, she didn’t just “attack” Clark for being white, that’s ludicrous. I wasn’t, have no clue who she is, I was using the video of Clark shoving someone probably worse than Carter shoved her.
-
That x user thought Chennedy Carter was a fool (in 2019)
-
People from Iowa would be my guess, not sure
-
Caitlin Clark hates white people!!!!
-
“Waaahh she’s only doing this to Clark because she’s white!!” lol the GC is full of idiots
-
you think a little hip check is an “outright attack based on race,” lolololol

^ Found the guy that has never played a sport in his life

I’m guessing the earlier elbow (and this girl likely being a dirty player overall) had something to do with this particular incident. But maybe, just maybe, the other teams know she is good so being physical with her is an actual strategy to try to get her off her game. I’m sure that’s what Sean Payton would do if he were an opposing WNBA coach
-
I’m not searching for WNBA clips but she was apparently kicked off a previous team for trying to fight a teammate so I wouldn’t doubt it. And even if there weren’t, that doesn’t make it “vicious.” There is also a video of Clark giving her an apparent elbow earlier in the game FWIW.
-
Lol, it was rightfully called as a flagrant foul but anyone calling that “vicious” has probably never played a sport in their life
-
What are you suggesting? To dominate the WNBA, they’d probably at least have to have been good enough to play mens D2 or so. Although I suppose someone that was just a pretty good boys high school player would likely be good enough to at least make a roster. But combined with the fact that the WNBA doesn’t pay very well and I’m not surprised at all (In before some idiot brings up that the USWNT “lost” to a U15 team in a practice)
