I may have missed you say it “multiple times,” but I literally said “IIRC you agree he should be brought back,” so clearly I wasn’t ignoring it. So we agree. Bringing him back is the main issue here. Whether or not he’s a saint is irrelevant, and I never said he was. But it seems a main reason the administration is saying we shouldn’t bring him back is because “he’s a terrorist.” But that is based on extremely flimsy evidence. That’s all I’m saying. I’m not even saying he’s definitely not in a gang. But it is extremely irresponsible to say he definitely is, like you and JD Vance and countless others have done. A singular (read: not multiple) judge thought the evidence he was in a gang was credible enough to deny him bail. That’s it. It did not declare him a gang member.

Occam’s razor to me would suggest that if he got caught doing something shady, there were probably other shady things he was doing where he didn’t get caught. And even without him being a dirty cop, the “evidence” was his clothing and simply the word of a criminal informant who wasn’t even there.

Since they have apparently moved him out of CECOT, maybe we aren’t. Serious question though, if we deport someone that has not been charged with a crime other than entering the US illegally, they’re not usually put in jail in their home country right? Stephen Miller and others have said it (so of course all the sheep repeated it without actually researching it), but it is a lie at worst, at best a gross misrepresentation. The original “ruling” was only to determine whether he could get bond. It didn’t “rule” that he was in MS-13, it just said that the accusation he was “appeared trustworthy” so he was denied bond. Then all the appeals court said was that he didn’t do a good enough job “proving he wasn’t a danger.”
