What Is The Best Newer Movie You Watched ?
TimHauck replied to BeenHereBefore's topic in The Geek Club
Oh I saw that, I liked it, but admittedly I put Paul Giamatti as my answer to “actors I like in anything.” I liked Ricky Stanicky also @Horseman -
Omg I accidentally quoted the wrong post, the horror
-
Sorry @Strike. Meant to quote this
-
Oh sorry, was calling them the “rainbow mob” a show of support?
-
Well I’ve learned that @EternalShinyAndChrome is against gays, so that’s interesting

Bill Maher: American Kids are Way Too Confident
TimHauck replied to jerryskids's topic in The Geek Club
Why are Millenials being lumped in with kids? The youngest Millenial is 28. Keep in mind Gen Z was raised by Gen X. I have hope for the kids of Millenials. -
Maybe not “hate,” but “be against”… nuclear family noun A family unit consisting of a mother and father and their children.
-
I think Butker thinks you need to hate gays in order to support the nuclear family.
-
Well we do know Butker hates gays

Define “newer.” Super Mario brothers? -
Do you think those that disagree with Butker “hate the nuclear family”?
-
Again. Butker is saying being a homemaker is better than working outside the home. Even people like @jerryskids and @nobody seem to agree with this. Those that disagree with that take are not saying one is better than the other. Hence, there is no universe where this means people that disagree with Butker “hate the nuclear family.” Especially since most definitions of a “nuclear family” don’t even specify that the mother needs to be a homemaker. To support the nuclear family, do you need to be against gays? I know @Cdub100 would agree with that, do you? And are you against IVF and surrogacy?

Majority of Americans wrongly believe US is in recession
TimHauck replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
Where did any “libs” say they don’t care about what people are dealing with? Stating facts or being surprised at these poll answers doesn’t mean they don’t care what people are dealing with. If anything, the posters here such as @edjr that are rooting for the market to crash are the ones that don’t seem to care what people are dealing with. -
You keep asking who what? I agree that that article is a fair interpretation of what Butker said. I disagree that that article means the author “hates the nuclear family.” It’s hilarious to me that if we interpret Butker’s words of “being told diabological lies” about careers, “being a homemaker is one of the most important titles of all,” and his wife’s “life didn’t really start until she started her vocation as a wife and mother” as him saying being a homemaker is better than working outside of the home, somehow we’re twisting his words. But in fact you are the ones twisting words by saying if you disagree with what Butker said then you “hate the nuclear family.” Holy fock you’re a sheep. And speaking of not answering questions, are you against IVF and surrogacy?
-
This sounds like you’re agreeing with me. The people here that disagree with Butker aren’t saying one is better than the other. Butker is.

TimHauck replied to Mike Honcho's topic in The Geek Club
No, it’s not. You said “all they care about is how they respond to a question.” The poll had multiple questions, and that one question isn’t all people cared about. Sure, Honcho could have used a better title. But you’re still wrong. -
Do you agree that a fair interpretation of what Butker said is that he is against women working outside of the home? That is what “we” are against. “We” are not against women being homemakers, “we” are against Butker implying they should all want to be homemakers. Also, are you against IVF and surrogacy?

Please quote where in the HuffPost article it said that the author hates the nuclear family

Yes

Step 3: it’s happening but it’s not harmful -
You agreed with @Cdub100 saying this thread got to 19 pages because “liberals hate the nuclear family.” Please post evidence from this thread that that is the case.

First @Strike in Honcho’s thread, now @TBayXXXVII inserting arguments into topics they haven’t even read the details about So much for “doing your own research”
