Something a sheep would say
-
Did the NFL comment about Butker?
-
I criticize Biden much more than I defend him. And commend some of the great work of Trump such as Operation Warp Speed. I voted for him twice.
-
Right wing influencers: boycott bud light! righties: okay. right wing influencers: buy Butker jerseys! righties: okay. Also righties: we’re not sheep.
-
Bump for @EternalShinyAndChrome

Lie. Lie. Lie. Lie. I do enjoy proving GC righties wrong though, which of course isn’t usually hard to do.
-
Hey @Horseman, what do you think of Butker’s views on women?
-
Lol, yup https://x.com/hotchman/status/1791289831919894995

There are many sheep on both sides. I am on neither

Butker jerseys sold out. Man, righties are such sheep

How is the logic faulty? “It only takes one.” Those are your words.

Didn’t most of the 9/11 hijackers (at least initially) enter the country legally? Maybe we should just get rid of legal immigration too?

What town? Sorry @Strike don’t accuse me of doxxing Ed’s in-laws

https://www.redfin.com/news/housing-market-tracker-april-2024/ Data in the bullets below came from a list of 85 U.S. metro areas with populations of at least 750,000. Prices: Median sale prices rose most from a year earlier in Buffalo, NY (24.3%), Anaheim, CA (22.8%) and Rochester (15%). The fell in just five metros: San Antonio (-1.6%), Memphis, TN (-0.7%), Birmingham, AL (-0.7%), North Port, FL (-0.2%) and Austin, TX (-0.1%).

Do you have a citation for “home prices in some cases have nosedived 40%?” And by home prices, that means sale prices, not list prices. TIA.

This video is garbage. It may be based in truth but we wouldn’t know it from the video, it’s just a bunch of vague claims and little data. If @BeachGuy23 made this video @jerryskids would (rightfully) complain about it

Actually I left out they also had been bought by a PE firm before the Thai company bought them who sold the real estate many locations were in and forced them to pay rent to a subsidiary of the PE firm instead

Yes it’s CNN but here’s an interesting and seemingly well researched article about “what went wrong at Red Lobster” which came out before the recent store closures were announced. They apparently got bought in August 2020 by one of their seafood suppliers based in Thailand, that was basically just trying to make more money for the supplier and didn’t know how to run a restaurant. It was their idea to make endless shrimp permanent instead of a limited time offer which cost them millions and some think may have been the biggest reason for some of the store closures. https://www.cnn.com/2024/05/03/food/red-lobster-seafood-restaurant-bankruptcy/index.html

It doesn’t take an idiot to figure out that in a time where there is a shortage of unskilled labor, adding more unskilled labor to the market will actually help inflation. It does take an idiot to think that because a more significant population increase in border towns contributed to an increase in rents there, that that somehow results in more inflation nationally.
-
“There would have been inflation,” but Biden made it worse with the stimulus. But as mentioned elsewhere, I do find it funny that the same people saying the stock market doing great doesn’t mean the economy is great, are the same ones saying Disney stock going down means they’re failing. The first statement is correct, the second one is not.

If you’re going to argue semantics, he certainly didn’t say “women should have a career” (other than being a homemaker). He said “some of you may have successful careers,” very different. And that was of course right after he said they “had the most diabological lies told to you.” Then he said his wife’s “life truly started when she began living her vocation as a wife and mother” and “embraced one of the most important titles of all: homemaker.” You got us, he didn’t specifically say “women need to get back in the kitchen,” but that’s pretty much a paraphrasing of his comments on women.
