  1. I wouldn’t say it was “clearly false.” He was married to a citizen, so he could have gotten citizenship through that. But it’s possible his marriage was considered fraudulent and they revoked it, triggering the deportation order.
  2. Michigan church thread got peenie’d?
  3. No they’re not sure, no one should be. But you seemed to be implying they were not legit by talking about his crimes. I do agree with you about “why wouldn’t he have done similarly at other jobs” - he probably did, so either he was legal during his time at the other jobs, or he committed fraud.
  4. You said he “presented documents that appeared legit.” Are you suggesting they were not actually legit? Or do you think that he was legal at the time the documents were submitted? Pretty much has to be one of those 2 options.
  5. So you think it was an elaborate fraud scheme?
  6. They never said he didn’t get another type of visa or citizenship later though. He worked for like 5 different public school systems after 2005, I find it hard to believe he was illegal that whole time (edit: again, unless it was an elaborate fraud scheme)
  7. I think you fell for ICE’s misleading wording. They never said he overstayed his student visa, just that that’s when he first entered.

you may have read the chart wrong. It was currently higher than 2023
  9. I know what Occam’s razor means. The simplest explanation is usually the best one. You don’t think the simplest explanation for him getting hired by two school districts isn’t that he passed both background checks? And do you still think I hadn’t posted any primary sources when you replied earlier?
  10. “LGBTQ white supremacists” will give an opening for both sides to blame the other
  11. Here’s some info about some of the lawsuits against the PA district: https://www.yahoo.com/news/another-settlement-millcreek-schools-pay-085708275.html Two of the plaintiffs were men that got demoted from administrator positions making over $100k a year, where Roberts stated he wanted to reduce the number of administrators. If Roberts were a Republican doing this GC righties here would celebrate him for removing unnecessary bloat. One of the plaintiffs declared bankruptcy and one got a job at an insurance company instead (reminder, they were both offered teaching jobs within the district). So color me a bit skeptical about some of their claims.
  12. I believe she added additional info after I posted it here, but that’s not quite what it says. She says they planned to do it within 90 days of his hire and she couldn’t find record of them revisiting it, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen. The document clearly calls out that the law requires it, so Occam’s razor would tell us that they probably did revisit it (especially since he then also passed a background check at a different district).
  13. I’m gonna read a little more about the lawsuits from the PA district. At first glance suing for not getting hired for a job feels like cuck behavior when they should have pulled themselves up by their bootstraps instead
  14. I believe only one of his at least 3 degrees were from an online school
  15. Two different ones? C’mon, Occam’s razor tells us he was probably legal at least at the time he was hired, unless it was an elaborate fraud scheme
  16. This guy found it, but only posted part of it. He did seem to have a lot of experience though. I feel like the main actual red flag is the lawsuits. He was definitely a DEI guy, but I don’t think that proves he was a “criminal illegal alien.” The school board has now stated they thought he was a citizen. He seemed to have a good reputation particularly in Iowa, but it’s certainly possible he was a fraudster. This thread has some more information I hadn’t seen elsewhere. Interestingly he appears to have been married to an American - so I’d be surprised if he didn’t apply for citizenship through that.
  17. FWIW; looks like most of this was dudes who sued because they wanted jobs that women got instead.
  18. Yup and I acknowledged it was stupid. @RLLD didn’t think there was anything wrong with saying the economy went from being the worst in the lower classes’ lifetime to good in a few months

Reaching pretty far back for this one. Have any beauty pageant contestants been the Dean of Harvard Law school?

Agree on #2, disagree on 1 & 3. 1. Some companies have been eating them, but if input costs are going up and they can’t be passed onto the consumer that’s not a good sign for job prospects or the economy overall. Also with the way they’ve been constantly changing many companies plan to pass them on but haven’t yet. But some places where they have had a significant impact already include: Furniture: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/CUUS0000SAH3 Coffee: https://fred.stlouisfed.org/series/APU0000717311 I know you’ll mock these items as being NBD, but again this is just an example of what’s to come if the tariffs stay in place, and also what we do know is that tariffs certainly aren’t helping prices come down. 3. Many people other than hardcore MAGA’s aren’t thrilled with things like what ICE has been doing or the recent instances of lawfare.
